How to Open Java Files that Won't Open (Optifine,Shaders,Forge)

hey guys what's up nikorami here with another video and today i'm going to be showing you how to open a java file that won't open let's get started so you might have experienced problems with trying to open up a java file and then nothing happens so in order to fix that you want to first go to the view tab go to the very right click on options then this box will pop up and you want to click on view at the top of it and scroll down to where it says hide extensions for known file types make sure that's unchecked hit apply and click ok now you're going to right click make a new text document and to rename the whole thing run dot b-a-t and hit enter and then click yes here after doing that you're going to want to right-click it click edit and this text box will open up and in this text box you want to type in java dash jar and then copy and paste this file name onto that so in order to do that just right click it hit rename copy this whole thing even the jar and then paste it into the notepad after having this you want to click on file save as save and yes you can now close out of this and double click on the run.bat file it should start loading and depending on what you are trying to stall it should open and give you you know something like this i really hope you guys enjoyed this video please consider liking and subscribing if you thought this was helpful for you if you need any help let me know down in the comments and i will most likely respond and see you guys next time peace out
