Java files wont open EASY fix!

hey guys hedrip here and welcome to a short little tutorial thing today i downloaded optifine for 1.6.5 and when i went to install it all i got was a quick little black screen that flashes and i found a way to fix that and it's as easy as right clicking anywhere in your file and doing new text document and then we're going to open that text document we're going to type in java space dash jar we're going to come back here and get the file name space copy that or paste that in dot jar then we're going to file save as change save as type to all files we're going to call this run dot bat let's save it we're going to close it and now we have a new run executable batch file we're going to open that up and we have optifine installing itself you just click install it quickly installs it uh click ok that should close itself there we go and then we open minecraft and we have optifine installed so it just works every single time that i've tried it and all you have to do is type in that little bit of code and make sure that you save it as a dot bat file dot b-a-t and there you go well i hope this little tutorial helped you guys and i hope you enjoyed it and i'll catch you guys next time peace out cub scouts
