[Music] hello class um we'll teach you guys how to do your mockups for your assignment so to do that we're going to start with this file i'm going to put this file it i'm going to put it up on google classroom as an announcement so once you have that file inside your photopia you're going to go ahead and create a new layer we're going to go to the left and click on the rectangle tool over here where my mouse is we're going to make a rectangle that covers this whole box press enter or you didn't even have to press enter um we're going to clip this onto our white shirt in a bit but first we're going to make a copy of our two shirts or front and back so we're going to right click on this layer hit duplicate layer move this copy up to the top go back to our um a red red box right click on that box go down to clipping mask click on that go up to our first layer click on our white shirt front copy and then we're going to go from normal to multiply and now our shirt should be a different color we don't want this bright red so we're going to go down to our rectangle we're going to go up to this red fill option if you don't see this um this option right here you probably don't have the rectangle tool selected so we're gonna click on this red box i'm gonna go down and then click on this this red box and we're gonna choose a better color and i'm going to hit ok if you're not satisfied with how dark this looks or how the shadows look you can make an adjustment layer on top of this so go down click on brightness and contrast maybe brighten it up a little bit maybe move the contrast a little bit more i'm gonna go to levels move this to maybe just the right a little bit and then this one to the left slightly that should be good and now we have better colors so that's before and then after just looks a little brighter instead of it looking all dull so um we can play with the colors some more maybe we want to change it to purple color teal color above this layer we want to put our logo so we want to sandwich our logo in between on all this so we can put this into a group so we can group all this by selecting everything and then group all this right here by selecting everything by clicking and then shift click on the bottom and then our logo should be inside here and we can put our logo see so let's say all right i have my bad bunny logo on the front and this is a little bit in perspective i think this one so i'm just gonna squeeze it down just a little bit press enter and then we can have our logo too and we want a logo on the back um make it related to the front of the logo but for tutorial sake i'm just going to add let's see it's moon mountains so this one is more complex than this one why does it keep moving everything i'm just adjusting to my liking no okay and that's how you do part of the assignment so you want to make two logos uh one for the front of the shirt and then one for the back and then you want to make a mock-up of those logos so you want to put one logo right here and then another one right here make them distinctly different okay make them pretty different they can be similar obviously but not too some similar okay so um yeah that's the end of this tutorial if you guys have any more questions feel free to ask me or email me i have office hours from two to three and i'll see you guys in class
