How to Make the Juiciest Air Fried Lamb Steak Ever!

what we're preparing for lunch today are lamb steaks and we've rinsed the steaks patted them dry already with kitchen towel and i've made a very quick seasoning here now this is to your taste okay but it's based on dry rosemary some garlic granules and olive oil all nicely mixed together in there and literally a pinch of black pepper and a pinch of sea salt and we're now going to put that onto both sides of the meat do you want that first yeah so we'll just give them a gentle massage with tiny amount of oil showing the lamb some love so there is nothing hot this this is just straightforward herbs rosemary as you can see with some garlic granules in there literally one pinch of black pepper and a pinch of sea salt now just turn them over and do exactly the same on the other side give the lamb chops a bit of love first of all by giving a gentle massage a tiny amount just a tiny amount can't get any easier than this can you and i'll go through the temperature and the cooking time you can see these are not very thick so they'll be done very very quickly indeed and they won't shrink in size and the lovely thing is they will remain juicy and succulent and they'll come out with the beautiful flavor of the rosemary which really does complement the lamb so we've got the lamb prepared and into the airfryer basket on top of the crisper sally's put the potatoes nicely chopped up they go into the fryer and we put them on for 18 minutes at 200 centigrade and then we will do the lamb steak after that once those potatoes went into the fryer we just gave them a very light spray with olive oil and in 17 minutes the potatoes will be ready then we do the chops or the lamb steaks okay so the chops now or the lamb steaks i should say are in the airfryer basket we've put a piece of parchment paper down at the bottom they now basket goes into the fryer i've set it for seven minutes at a temperature of 190 and at seven minutes we'll flip it over and do the other side and check the temperature so i'm going for 13 minutes in total probably but we'll see what it looks like after the first part i don't know whether you can hear that sizzle but it's certainly looking good so we're just going to flip them over okay so four minutes at 190 same temperature side two and then we'll check okay well with two minutes 15 seconds left i'm just going to pause it [Music] and check the temperature on here so let's go in and for a medium rare we'd be looking at 145 for a medium 160 and well done 170 so we're at 155 155 fahrenheit so that is just between medium and medium rare so i'd be interested just to cut that let's check the other one and just see what it actually looks like 150 so again we're over the 150 151 let me go a little bit deeper into the meat there i think that's going to be pretty good for us it should be pink but not bloody let's just check we'll cut one in half that's quite a lot of blood there okay but let's just cut one in half and have a look look at that look at that absolutely super do you want to try the other one yeah i do this is a bit thicker i'd prefer it i'll have that this one i'll just put it in for a little bit longer so that one's going to go in a little bit longer i'm more than happy with that one yeah more than happy so the other one's gone back in it was just a wee bit thicker it's got two minutes to go to the original time how long do you want to leave it in for i'll leave it for that time so there we are that is my lunch served and that had a cooking time of about nine minutes in total uh everything on there was air fried apart from the veg and they were in our little steamer so this is the sally's one which she put in for an extra two minutes because she does like hers medium as i do really but i just want to try it weave it pink as this was so let's find out what it tastes like a little bit of mint sauce on there very moist very very good indeed you'll enjoy it recipe ingredients will be up on the description of this video bye for now
