seasonings inside a bowl okay perfect we i think you taught us that last time with the other fish it's easier to put the seasonings in a bowl first one seasoning fish that way you kind of just it makes it a little easier in the process you guys will see and if you haven't already seen the steam fish tutorial i suggest you go on to daddy's kitchen page and watch that one because that one black dry your fish off okay dry the fish because you've already washed it right what do you usually wash your fish with vinegar and lime vinegar and lime okay and he washed it three times guys so you you want to wash the insides you want to wash the outsides you just want to make sure that your fish is clean but then you gotta pat them dry yes because you're gonna fry them because you're gonna fry them right and the water on it is not a good idea right and as you guys can see we only have three fish that's because today daddy's just doing this for you guys it wasn't really necessarily um a plan fish to taste good so you guys have to season the inside of the fish you can't just season outside the fish is boring man no true daddy [Music] okay so the heat was just turned down to medium you guys and we are waiting to put these bad boys inside that could tell them they need another seasoning liquor tail i like to chew on those look at this what's wrong with you every time he does this i always like pull out into the little tail you're not supposed to eat it but i like it so i would like for it to have a little bit of seasoning also okay even though it's probably not my fish mommy mommy and dahlia for sure she'll okay so esther beach fish fry fish easter fish it's a very traditional way to make snapper red snapper fish um in jamaica and we usually make it around easter time because you're not supposed to eat meat traditionally um so but it's so delicious it's so darn good you usually have it with you know you have it with anything but if you have it with you know heart or bread what's next okay this fish is ready i'm gonna take it out i'm gonna do the same time okay so when the fish is ready you're gonna take the fish out then you're gonna use the same oil that's in there yes that's how they get that flavor okay i've always wondered i've only ever just stuffed my gut stuffed my gut that's one thing for sure i know how to do we're cooking recipes today guys who wants to leftover oil in here daddy we're going to like you said before i put all of the veg in there right so the flavors that are still in this pan are going to be infused into these veggies right color is so beautiful so many people always compliment all the colors that you cook with betty they're always like oh he always cooks with the most beautiful colors i never realized that that was a thing you know that people really appreciated straight from heaven [Music] he took it away funny i was asking them if they thought that i would be able to get away with keeping a piece of paper nope he said we're covering that bad boy [Music] what vinegar vinegar okay so what i always realized about escalate fish is that the when you bite into the carrots and stuff it kind of gives you like a slightly vinegary taste but it's like a slight tart taste can you tend that's the word that's the word tangy first of all if you guys see my nails looking ratchet you already know what it is we're on quarantine still i mean okay okay all right so you have the vinegar [Music] three tablespoons of jamaican tablespoons whatever you want to color it in only if you there smell this so aromatic [Music] a little bit of black pepper in there okay so we're gonna add some salt i know that we know at this point just a little just a little if you guys want a little bit more salt for a little bit more salty our house is a little we don't play with the salt that much so use it to your own discretion seasoning remember this seasoning for the fish guys whatever's left over you can use to season your veg [Music] and skirt [Music] [Music] want to have a crunch so don't worry about cooking okay this is a really hot day today in toronto guys hot hot day and we're not complaining because we want these
