tell the people them where we are cook today Sesame honey glaze turkey wig Lord of Mercy Lord of Mercy all right things are going things so you guys I'll just give you a little bit of backstory my mom is like she is known for her turkey wings okay her turkey wings are busting all the time we love her turkey wings so I was like mommy you got to do the turkey wings okay so Mommy where do we start so we are going to be going over to the sink and we're going to be washing them with some vinegar so Daddy's going to wash them properly for you and you know how how we think about washing our Meats mm okay that's super important for us in our home yes okay so I'm just going to be pouring some white vinegar on this okay and daddy is going to wash it properly and drain it off [Music] us daddy me wi wash oh I tell you and you know you might not wash yours but you know you're here watching us cook dinner and we welcome you so here we wash our meat yep we wash them and we can wash them with some l lime some lemon what whatever you prefer but you know we wash with lime whenever we have lime we wash with lemon and today we're washing with some um vinegar white vinegar white vinegar so now that it's washed we're going to be preparing all our green seasoning which is natural ddy says natural seasoning I say green seasoning basically the same thing okay so we're going to be cutting that up and we're going to be putting it in here and then we'll put the dry seasoning in okay perfect okay let's do it first my garlic try that Daddy let me try that you know you're such an expert on this thing let me see if me can do it too course can do look at that he's been an expert doing this for so many years we like when he cuts up the stuff they're so they look so good when he cuts them up yeah I got to work on mine yeah still need some more time I usually like to buy them the one that's already cut up at the GR M yeah you know the the microwave generation want everything done like now this minut I mean if you're selling it in a bottle pre as my granny as M granny used to say you need to work with get some elbow greasing and do your thing yeah I'll go find some elbow grease yep yeah I'll try I'll try one of the onion I can't cut cut it like Daddy but I can actually just cut it like that watch your fingers y cut all the onions these things make your food taste so much better good flavor full of flavor yeah and um we're going to be um doing it um right away because of you the audience but generally with these things it's nice to be able to um season it from overnight night and let it stay into your fridge and marinate for you know overnight and you get such even a such a better flavor you know yeah so it's good to do that also see make go fast mhm still take your time yeah take your time and watch you want me to cut this like that yeah okay notice how they started with onion and garlic you guys you guys know how I feel if you know how I feel about onion and garlic I enough CCE makes perfect yep good enough and then we go into the rest of these chop these on up the Tomato I guess we'll do it like how he did it quick learner yeah that's how my look in there careful maybe a half of your thumb of Ginger and we'll be adding some Scotch bonnet we had some escallion some dried thyme and um some tomato and onions garlic and garlic is in that okay and then we're going to be putting in the dry season dry and wet seasoning in it up next goty all the seeds going in the garbage one one okay guys so I'm going to be putting our dry seasoning on the turkey wig WIS right now so this is um smoked paprika I'm going to be using 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika so sprinkle that all over that all right and then with the others I'll be using one teaspoon of each okay so this is garlic powder okay and you guys can decide on how much you want to use on yours just garlic powder there cuz I feel like I would put double the amount of garlic powder yeah but well we have natural garlic and this is one this is one of our seasoned this is AB seasoning smoking and Grilling okay shout out shout out to ab ab and this is his allpurpose seasoning that we're going to be using all right how many of you guys are familiar with smoking and grilling Channel cooking with AB smoking and Grilling with AB if you are familiar put it down in the comments cuz he is a friend of ours so this is there you know what I'm going to shake it up because on on his bottle he says shake it up before you use it so I'm going to give it a shake a nice Shake just to combine everything mhm okay and then I'll you put a a teaspoon here okay I might put a little bit more after let's see after we we've added all the seasoning here I have some chicken seasoning going to be putting that on it also so I'll be putting a teaspoon of that Heap teaspoon okay and some black pepper pepper just going to open this here I'm just going to shake it on not estimate teaspoon you know whatever floats your boat how much you want on it we have the Maggie the liquid Maggie seasoning yep okay so we're going to be just shaking some on it to how much you really want remember this is salty so we're kind of careful but it it gives the the food really good flavor okay so I would say I put a at least a tablespoon in it shout out to Sister Maggie okay all right and here we have some sesame oil okay some sesame oil so I'm just going to pour that in mhm pour it all over cuz we're going to just rub all of that in and I have some honey here what type of honey are you using um this is just um just regular honey H yeah yeah sorry honey with a honey comb regular honey regular honey yep and and to glaze it we're going to be using some of the LI Liam's brand um lignum brand um honey Bonet peer yeah and this one is the flavor with the Scotch bonnet pepper in it okay he also has the summer Blossom flavor summer blossom all right and we have the Lockwood Blossom and these yeah these honey them you guys will be able to get them and order them if you want I'll put the link in the description box below so don't worry if you need access to getting those you will be able to get them mhm okay so here we have everything in so what I'm going to be doing I'm going to be just massaging everything in okay all right let's do it so let's just rub rub all that we have put on here and smells so good guys it's not even cooked yet and you have this nice Aroma that's coming from it and I feel like the sesame oil really does kick it up a few notches and one thing we yeah I forgot to tell you so this is my little M my grandmother had this and she call it the mar picnic when you go go get the mar for me okay so it has this the mark and you beat it beat the stuff okay so what what I have in here is some um pimento seeds so the pimento seeds were like this like seeds grains grains like this okay yeah they that's how they are and I put some in here and what I did was use this and I just broke them all up like that okay so I'm going to actually pour it what's in there on this so that's the pimento seed okay okay and this is really handy okay and then I'm just going to massage everything in um Pento seed seed is called again all spice all spice yeah all spice so sometimes you you'll see the bottles in the um in the supermarket and they will say all spice on them okay it's all it's still Pento okay I remember growing up in the um growing up and going on on the um during the holidays the summer holidays to my grandma and they had all these pented trees and they would pick them and they would they would said come picn come come help we shell the Pento and we had to Shell her help her shell all these pimentos all right the pimento the pimento leaves and all of that and all these things are so healthy for us yeah and they make the food taste good [Music] yeah okay so I had another tablespoon of um paprika for color and I had another tablespoon of honey okay for a little bit more sweetness okay all right so now what we're going to be doing we're going to be putting them in the pan okay okay the oven is already um at three three um75 375 on 375 yes it's being he yeah heated preheated okay so I'm going to be just shaking off the seasoning there laying them in the pan y okay even if I will leave some of the seasoning on it just to let it cook really nice with it but for the most part you shake off yeah okay smells good guys really good oh my gosh smells amazing actually I'm ready guys if you're wondering oh Sasha you sound a little quiet today it's because I'm ready to eat yep I am ready to eat she ready to heat okay I ain't not done yet that's sir but it's coming if you guys could smell this also the Sesame I always feel like the sesame oil really like that that flavor and that Aroma mhm W you just know it's going to taste good these turkey wings are no joke man Isa take your time big up colors all of Mercy y EA Lord have mercy yep colors we're coming to see you one of these days one of these days we're going to link up with you yeah man yep definitely yep and we have to cook something really good mhm yep it's just this one leave so I'm just going to sneak it in somewhere here interesting so they don't necessarily need space to breathe amongst each other well they're good uh when you once you um the fire and the heat takes them it'll be good okay it's good to know yep I would think that I would need to put space in between but mommy is the turkey wing connoisseur sauce draining out the fluid in there if she said you don't need the space you don't need the space y see them look good man look good okay bull now it's your turn your turn to put the put the um the foil on top now she letting the nicknames out by accident y y there we go oh my gosh what can't okay so just wrap it with the foil and we're going to put it into the oven for within an hour we'll check it to see what's going on and then um uh after that we'll see if we then we can start um maybe basing it with the sesame seed oil and the honey mhm and well dy's going to make a specific sauce for the glaze right so everybody stay tuned the glaze is on the way yep oh my God Eddie how you been good yeah I'm good you're here laughing so hard because Mommy called you her nickname why just let up the secret oh my [Music] God okay it's going to go in the oven into the oven mhm I know you guys hate me for that foil noise on the camera a second ago but okay okay into the oven 375 so at least 7:30 we should be okay so it's 6:30 right now we're checking at 7:30 it's in the oven on bake for 3 at 375 and we shall be back yep we'll be right back we're going to make our on glaz sauce okay we're going to use some of this natural seasoning mhm some ketchup small paprika sesame oil and going to use lingum lnum honey honey okay and you're using the Scotch bonnet one and the scotch yes okay and then you're also putting fresh some fresh cash bani pepper okay and over here mhm here's my sauce spot I warm some butter about 2 tbsp of butter okay what's the heat on low okay so now I'm going to drop my Scot bunnet pepper first so you want to get that c [Music] then some of the natural seasoning not too much just a little bit little B now I can turn up my heat a little bit more not m but a little under yeah under medium oh under medium let the flavors Escape [Music] yeah now put some sesame oil I'm going to put about a tablespoon God this is strong when you say strong you mean by Flavor right like it's very flavorful yeah it's very strong but I love it see like I can turn up a little bit higher I medium right now okay that's good m some ketchup I'm laughing because the Jamaicans never let go of their ketchup I didn't know I didn't know that until 3 years ago you do a great job yeah know well me could you get me a spoon please all of Mercy I put half tbspoon paprika smoked paprika that is good old smokey taste now I'm going to have my okay which one are you starting with Logwood that's the Logwood yep okay might need a smaller spoon mother can you take out like a mini one of those mini spoons maybe that Sil milk [Music] spoon lignum honey is amazing and I love the flavor so turnning sugar too it's natural natural flavor and the Honey is sourced in Jamaica so that's the cool thing too from Jamaica yeah Mom fresh wow that's the Logwood one you want me to get the scotch bnet one yeah look at this you guys look at the Scotch bonnet pieces in there like honey come on yeah nice such a great idea brilliant brilliant idea great for so many things who would think that Scotch bonnet can go into honey mm wow amazing and obviously we're using the small bottles cuz we got the small bottles but you guys can order the bigger bottles cuz I'm pretty sure they carry bigger bottles as well so Sasha will put the link on for yeah in the description box for this company you're going to use regular honey as well see how you need you need enough sauce for that for that big pan I'm going to add some water to it smells so good you guys I don't know it's a mix of this sauce and the the turkey wings in the oven right now they got me they got me you guys they got me you know you have if you you have um chicken bro could I was thinking I'm really becoming a chef because I thought about that in my mind and I was like hm do you need to use water could you use a chicken broth look at me oh and here comes your beautiful wife with a box of chicken broth yep yeah cuz I was like the water it's not with me this one has no sugar so that's good see it there want I feel like you need look more on yeah man we have more on going to turn this back up I did turn it down here's your honey some more honey not the lignum kind but honey regular honey and this is what is going to be used to base all of them right and like pour on top of them right yep do you want it a little bit thicker or you're going to become thick okay thank you you want to all right you two so let's taste let's taste we want to know what go on here M let me taste the sauce I already know because I'm taking all full responsibility for this cuz I told them how to make the sauce would you like would you agree parents oh please see I take credit I give it to give it to her thank you Father okay okay tastey guys okay so let me taste wow M this is awesome yeah I know oh delicious good job Sasha busting huh I taste the honey I taste the Sesame and I taste the Scotch bonnet pepper M it is just the bomb I know I know I know but what I'm going to do it's a little bit thin so I'm going to thicken it with some corn starch okay okay I put a spoonful of corn starch in here with cold water okay not hot water never hot water right hot if you're thickening has to be C take your spoon okay now I'm going to pour it in and mix at the same time oops that goes sometimes that happens sometimes you see how far it thi thicken look at that wo that can you believe it quick it just keep stirring why thi so fast I I guess I put too much in it but that's fine it's fine it's all good you can out what would you do thin it out with um more liquid more of the the chicken broth interesting exactly what I'm going to do it look like me I tell you guys before you tell me who is the chef in here wow me not he's not the one who making it we put it up on a little bit higher fire these two are the real chefs yep we are do it we are try okay this is good look at it look at that okay so then when that is almost done now the turkey wing is almost done then we're going to use our brush and then we're going to just base all those turkey wings open them to the fire the drama and oh my gosh and just get them to that color that's going to be unbelievable you guys my mother everyone my mother everyone now I have to turn this down turn it back down low to low very low okay you know this can burn on you mhm it's too much heat on it thank you sir look P the St P the shirt guys that's because you was tasting that's all good that's all right a little mess in the kitchen that looks good yep so I'm going to make this simmer for a couple minutes okay and it's done Sim down my do you hear what I say my all Mercy control your temper control my temper all that's too funny oh my gosh okay guys we're going to check now so this is the hour mark okay okay let's see what let's see what's going on in here I don't know if you guys can hear Delia's arrive and she's already asking if it's done yet [Music] okay close let's take a First Peek let's see what's going on it's hot careful careful of the [Music] steam mm the smell you guys oh the [Music] aroma mhm come a come a come okay yeah so I'm going to actually put it back in the oven but open okay yeah that'll give it more color and all that right mhm get some crisp to it and then after it starts Browning nicely by itself then we'll start after it starts Browning nicely by itself then we'll just put our sauce on it with a brush okay to get that beautiful glaze mhm okay and remember you guys there was already honey inside the when they seasoned yep so we're going to drive that Sesame honey flavored all the way in yep let's give it that it back in the oven for a bit more and so that it can get that brown color okay yeah so how long do you think so um say let's give it say 15 20 minutes before you start basing before we check it check it again to see where we're at 20 minutes yeah about 20 minutes yeah uh we don't want it to burn you know so we'll peek through the glass to make sure and um and then afterwards then we'll start basing it with a special sauce okay okay right and give it that nice brown color I'm ready okay so here we are going check again to see what's going on I can tell already mhm oh look at the color on her yep okay so I think now Azie you're going to put that sauce on and then we probably going to put it up turn up up the oven it's 375 so maybe 400 when you put the sauce on and let it come to a nice color right okay think you miss this one [Music] there okay so can you we're just going to take it out for a minute and then let him just put the um sauce on top the sauce on top and then we're going to turn the oven a bit more and just a nice brown color okay I'm going to base it with my sauce oo the tasty sauce there m going to turn up the oven too um 400 oven is getting turned up to 400 over there you guys look upon the [Music] [Music] sauce I'm so ready for this I don't I don't really have much to say you guys all I know is I am ready you ready ready like a Freddy as Mommy would say looks good man look P daddy said I'm not done yet oh you got to flip them around yeah got to flip them over oh I was about to say I was going to say I was going to be like Daddy what about the other side but I thought maybe I was just being too greedy but no not greedy I thinking the right thing mm more sauce on the other side flip them at the same time people you have you have gravy underneath there yeah mhm [Music] mhm guys are you more of the drumstick or the flat tell me down in the comments I want to know who my people are who my tribe is okay I am the flats I inside and you put the heat back up to you said you put it up to 400 and how long you think it's it's going to stay in there uh let's give it say about 10 minutes and check it to see cuz we don't want
