How to K.O. With Every Character In Smash Bros. Ultimate

in this video i'm going to be going over how to land kills with every single character in super smash bros ultimate i tried not to add things like oh with this just grab them and back throw them genius but instead i tried to add in some unique ways to get kills that you might not have actually ever seen before so you can use them and surprise your mates with this new character knowledge this video did take a lot of effort so please drop a like if you want to see more content like this and uh yeah i'm not going to commentate over every single clip in this video otherwise i think you'll get a little bit sick of my voice however with mario his upsmash is a fantastic kill move but what makes it even better is if you flip the left analog stick to the opposite way you're running and then input up smash because this will allow your up smash to come out on the side closest to your opponent first meaning it's much more likely to catch your opponent jumping with donkey kong to really nail this walk off stage spike you want to turn around a little bit before you get to the ledge and you will continue sliding off the stage but now be facing towards the ledge where you can input the input where you can input down throw and then get a stage spike with link a classic maneuver is to go off stage and use your upbeat outwards to catch your opponent and kill them very early however even on stage this upbeat can be a great kill move as link doesn't have very many kill options that come out quickly and in front of him however if you run forward and then up b it is a quick killing option that you can use for samus it's just going to be neutral b this is an incredible move to catch your opponent off guard and it is used best as a ledge trapping move as it covers multiple options at the same time [Music] with fox a landing neutral or landing down air is a great combo into upsmash however what you may not know is since the most recent patch if you do a short hop down air with fox and then fast fall in the middle of your down air it is going to act as a landing down there now pikachu you usually want to land an edge guard with however you can also do neutral air into down smash [Music] ness you should not have trouble killing with literally everything under the sun when your opponent gets to 100 is going to kill but what you can do to catch your opponents off guard around thirty to forty percent is land a short hop neutral air into a downhill to get the jab reset and then use the sire magnet which will continue the jab reset but also push them into the perfect position to land a tip of forward smash with your back which will do more damage and more knockback so not only does it look sick but it's also optimal if you're playing peach honestly just start working that thing like your cardi b it's so fast and it just kills really early a lot of the time when people are on platforms they hold shield because they're scared you're going to come up underneath them and try and hit them with an aerial however with bowser what you want to do is be underneath them and then jump inside b people who are hiding on platforms and then sumo slam them to the ground this is my simpleton ice climbers combo which actually can lead to a lot of kills but also if you want i mean you could do something like this um i can't but link in the description if you want to learn it with sheik you have two down tilt hitboxes and if you use the tippy hitbox it is going to combo into up smash and into up air for the kills [Music] although dr mario also has the same up smash as mario he's far slower so you're probably not going to run underneath people like you would want to do with mario however his neutral b combos into down b or up b which is a very powerful kill option either way however the upbeat is faster to come out so if you're a bit late to react smack him with that bad boy by the way peter's forward smash is fantastic at 2 framing for some reason with lucina you're usually going to be getting edge guard kills however you can do down to into down smash and this covers every single option they do other than rolling away unless you get them at the very ledge then if the roll away is also not going to work however if your opponent catches on and starts rolling away just sprint forward and then do a side b to kill them because side b is actually stronger than the first hit of down smash fun fact for young link you want to do combo finishes with down air because up air actually kills later than down it [Music] with ganondorf instead of just running off and going for a down air it's actually way more effective to run off and go for an upbeat towards your opponent this will cover a lot more area so it's a far more likely kill move to land for mewtwo running up smash is good very similar to mario but also his back air tail hitbox is ginormous now a little trick is to use his back air while you're double jumping to cover more area this is because it starts from down low and swings up high so if you do a jump with it it's going to cover more area than if you're falling down with it this tip also applies to every single character in the game if their move swings downwards you're gonna cover more area if you move down with it and if it swings upwards then you're gonna usually wanna move upwards with it as you can see here uh gamer watch is invincible as he does his up smash so you can try and call out approaches and use an upsmash to beat it out also ledge trapping with down smash is absolutely ridiculous it covers everything other than jump from the ledge so if you mix up back air and down smash you're gonna have a very fun time ledge trapping meta knight also has a down tilt down smash similar to lucinas with pit and dark pit you have this mix-up when you grab your opponent at the very ledge if they're de-eyeing in because they don't want to get thrown off stage do down throw into up here for a true combo and get the kill however if they've caught on to this and they start diying out do a fourth throw and they'll just die warrior has up to interwove at low percent however if you land a weak up tilt which you do by having to move out for a little bit before it hits your opponent this will combo for a very long time i didn't want to wait and wait for waff to charge up so i use neutral air to show you that this is still connecting as long as you hit the weak up tilt at 126 percent snake can do a guaranteed down throw into forward tilt on characters that hit forward till it hits when they're lying down at 160 percent snake can do down through into up tilt and it is completely true also you side be the edge guard it is crazy [Music] a fun fact for diddy kong that actually also applies to every single item in the game is that if you just throw it normally with the c-stick or pressing a it actually does less damage than if you inputted the throat like you were doing a smash attack for diddy kong not only does the banana do more damage if you do the smash input but it also trips your opponent for longer meaning you can charge your forward smash for longer and get an earlier kill forward smash king dedede has this crazy specific combo where if you inhale your opponent and start holding up tilt as soon as they pop out of your nutribe you up tilt them immediately and now die but while making this video i discovered a secret which is if you don't mash it all when you get sucked in by ddd he can't land this combo for olimar if you have the blue pigment it is the strongest to land an up throw kill throw with and if you have the purple pikmin it is the strongest to land a back air kill with [Music] for a villager if you grow the tree underneath your opponent it is a very strong kill move however it takes the entire watering can to grow the tree however you could do this in multiple parts meaning if you water the tree a little bit and then run away the next time you water it it'll instantly grow also when the trees out just use the axe and smack them in the face it is brutal if mega man throws his blade while he's running along the ground he kind of does this whole slow animation however if you do it with a short hop he doesn't have to go through this animation and you can true combo into up tilt if someone hits your shield and you z drop mega man's blade it comes out behind him so if someone hits you in the back while you're holding your blade z drop the blade turn around and land an uphill for a crazy out of shield kill option if you use nutribe to shoot luma off the stage and start rapid jabbing she will slowly fall down which can catch your opponent however if you do this awesome trick where you run off the stage jump back and do a star bits and then start jabbing she will stay exactly where she is meaning you can set her up perfectly to catch even teleport recoveries which is freaking awesome [Music] [Applause] [Music] uh [Music] if you're playing shulk just just switch to smash monado it is you do not need any advice just hit them with anything just tickle them with your big toe they'll explode and die [Music] [Music] mr [Music] [Music] ridley is insane at edge guards he can go so much deeper than you might think so don't be afraid to fly off the stage with forward air and nutria to get the kill ridley's up smash is also massive and covers the entire platform so if you ever knock your opponent onto the platform such as hitting him with a neutral air like this just go for an up smash it will cover any option they try to do [Music] for king k rool on his down smash he has super armor because super armor is so fun i love super armour so much this means it is fantastic if you are on top of a platform and your opponent comes up to try and hit you and you down smash which let me tell you will happen a lot so use this trick when you're on a platform it'll catch your opponent off guard [Music] for piranha plant i'm not gonna lie i didn't really know what to do however i know that piranha plant up smash outer shield is very very good so use up smash it's very strong if you're playing hero you're going to want to press down b on the menu and scroll down to swac or whack um this is incredible it just kills your opponent at zero percent so just use that terry can do jab jab into the input down b which is going to kill his opponents very early however you can enjoy terry's opponent sdi in towards terry and this combo will not work but you can catch this by doing it into the strong upbeat so while you're pressing jab jab hold down on the left stick and then input up b and it's going to kill them and catch them if they're sdiing towards you for biology does have down to inter up air however usually you're just going to get killed with tipper back air if you land the close back air it's actually not looking very strong at all but trust me land the tipper it is like five times stronger than her other hits just land the tipper duh easy min min although this is not a true combo if you just do back throw into ford smash you can get the kill at very early percent however you can also uh do something absolutely disgusting like this [Music] with steve you can use his up tilt very similar to how you would use your up smash with mario because he's up till true combos in tobacco and finally with sephiroth you have this cheeky trick where if you put your side b's on your opponent and now you want to try shield them go for the down smash it's going to break your opponent's shield and you can get an easy early kill with the fully charged neutral bee but pop it it doesn't even kill it zero percent this isn't good enough if you stand a little bit further back from your opponent and do the neutral b you have enough time to combo it in to a forward smash and it'll get the kill at even zero percent but don't do it too close to your opponent because you will not have enough time
