speaking at the start. You can even see it here in the waveform. Let's use the Zoom tool
to really get in on that. Look at that static there those static samples in the audio. Let's play a little bit
of it, loop it round. (static air) There you go, just before I
start speaking, which is here. - [Mikes Voice] Hello,
this is Mike and I'm rec. - Okay, we want to completely eliminate this static, ideally. And in order to do that we need to select, using the Selection tool, a sample of the static, go in to Effect, Noise Reduction, get the noise profile and
then we select everything. Go to Effect, Noise
Reduction, and we go ahead and put some serious
noise reduction on this. Crank the sensitivity up, maybe the smoothing bands as well. Click Okay, and with just one click. - [Mikes Voice] Hello, this
is Mike and I'm recording. - Much more professional. No static, look at the level
meters on the start there. Absolutely no audio at
all and very much reduced. - [Mikes Voice] Hello, this
is Mike, and I'm recording - In my actual recording. So an easy way to remove
static using noise reduction. Just make sure you grab the noise profile of the static only, and
