tell our friends what we're gonna make today we're gonna do a flying snake yeah we're gonna fold a cool snake haha yeah alright get your origami paper yes and we're going to use green huh and if our art friends don't have origami paper you guys can use regular computer paper which is just white and then turn it into a square and then you can color it after you're done folding and make it green should we start yeah all right let's do it had all right we're gonna be making this guy right yeah he looks really cool and the cool thing about him is he's super easy but he looks really neat and he sits on the table just like that yeah yeah all right let's get started so we got our green paper origami paper right and so the first step we're going to turn our paper like a diamond and then we're going to fold the bottom corner up to the top corner and then line it up and then stick it down hold it and I'll help you it just a little bit kay so get that lined up and then put your finger on it yeah keep going and put your finger down and then fold it down the middle and then up to the edges good job has and we'll move it up here so our art friends can see okay all right okay next step we're going to open it up good then we're going to fold this bottom edge right here up to the middle fold line to the middle and we want to make sure that it comes to a point down here at this corner right down here can you do that babes I'll move it over here so our art friends can see there you go fold that edge / yeah okay now we're going to do the other side just like we did the first side so we're going to take that it's almost like we're making an airplane huh what were you gonna say I can say it's almost like um a did you forget almost like a what okay oh it does that totally looks like a kite huh yeah yes okay can you do this other side good okay now we're going to do it one more time we're going to fold this edge to the middle again like that you can go ahead and start if you want to it can help you if you get stuck we're going to fold that edge up on the other side right like that there you go flip cha all the way down good okay now we're going to do the other side the same way so we're going to do this edge to the middle and I want it to go down so that it makes a nice point down here I don't really do that with the other side that's alright okay you need some help good okay now we're going to do the same except we're going to do it on the front or over here on the small edge so we're going to fold this edge right here to the middle and make sure that it makes a nice point up here at the top crease it down okay so all we do this up here like that stick that down pull it nice nice and crisp now we're going to do the same on the other side this edge to the middle it's almost like we're making a sword huh crease that down make it really sharp there we go now I'll help ya this is a little tricky it's not too bad art friends if they gets a little stuck they can ask an adult for help there we go then press it down right here good job okay okay now we're going to flip it over you flip yours over good and then turn it around so that it's the same direction as mine and then we're going to fold it this is a little tricky we're going to fold it it's not too bad we'll fold it in half this way like an airplane yep can you do that hold it this way you want to make sure that it's down the middle there we go with that one yeah good job how come that little guy just sticking out hmm we'll fold them in so we tuck them in and then we'll pull them back there we go good job sorry you crease it one more time and I kind of did it for you huh tell me to butt out all right heads okay now we're going to fold this so we're going to keep this inched right here and we're going to fold our this is going to be our snake our first bend in our snake body so we're going to fold it so that his body lines up with that this this edge right here that was already there okay so keep that pitch hold the finger right there this one use this your left hand pinch right there pinch it then we're going to open this up and we're going to push slide their fingers down there you go push up like that and then we're going to bend it back and make sure it goes all the way up to the top like that oh he's looking awesome we got to get them in there though there we go it was a little tricky huh okay now you crease that down like that crease it nice and tough nice and crisp right there now we're going to do we're going to put our snakes down so I kind of make a checkmark you see that checkmark then we'll get back yeah oh yeah kind of like a j2 then we're going to fold his body for a bend okay really keeping it yes up and down so can you do this fold his body down yes like that one up down up down okay we're going to fold this one down like that let's crease it nice and tight like that okay press that down okay and then then we're going to open it up like this put our finger in there and we're going to reverse it so we're going to tuck it back in like that crease it so it should look like coming back down is that cool yeah let's fix yours so we're going to hope we're going to open it back up and we'll do the same thing press it down and then you squish that yes perfect you did it okay look at that we're starting to make our snake huh okay but now we're going to now we're going to do our fold back up so this is his tail is going to go back up and see this line right here we're going to go across and that's where we're going to start that fold that goes back up and we want it to look like the same line so that when it's on the table there we go it'll live it'll stand up we're going to come down here we'll fold this guy up okay and then we're going to open it up we're going to open up this tail bat and I press this back in let me help you you're doing that keep you opening it there we go we'll open it open it up all the way yep keep going keep going and then we'll press it down in yes and then squish it let's squish that good job okay we're almost done we're going to do one more we're gonna do one more like that we'll do the same we'll do those same steps kay and we'll fast forward yeah it's that cool all right we got our towels all made hot now we need to do is head right so we have to do the same thing but we're going to do it we're going to do so we'll aim em down like this so can you do that we'll fold this down okay and squish it good job then we're going to open him up this head up and then we'll fold his head so I'll do that one more time so our fans can see okay we're going to open them up open them up like this and then we can take our fingers and pinch it and reverse it down boom that cool yeah let's do yours now he has a sharp nose huh so we're going to take his nose and we'll fold it will fold it in so it's flat so we're going to fold that in right like that so it's tucked in side underneath will go pinch it push it back in that you squish it boom you did it has look at that that's our snake huh it looks really cool should we put some eyes on yeah hey get your marker and then we're going to do a circle you want to use just you can use any of those and we're going to do a little circle right here on this side one eye good job and we'll flip them over he'll do a circle on the side with other eye and then we could draw all kinds of different designs like we could do stripes oh you put eyelashes on them that I like it it's a girl snake so we could do little stripes and cool diamonds we could do all kinds of designs on his body huh yeah yes look can our snakes be friends yeah mmm I put this in your tail with your face put your face around kisses and then a kiss for you boy Oh girls was easy with the little help yeah we hope you guys had fun making your snake with us and we'll seal it our friends good bye
