How To Fold A Turtle

hey our friends i got my little austin with me how old are you dude i'm three you're three are you still three yes what are we gonna do today um yeah we're gonna fold a cool turtle huh yeah pound it boom all right since you're three you're gonna help me right yeah we got we got a piece of paper here is origami paper yeah and that means it's square and we got some new kind it's a little bit bigger than the other stuff we were using and it's colored on both sides the other stuff we had was white on one side this is color it's green on both sides right and why are we using green um what do we going for the turtle oh yeah because we're gonna pull the turtle and we are gonna make uh one cut so we do need a pair of scissors right yeah okay you ready for the first step yeah okay oh and if our friends don't have a square piece of paper it's easy to make a square piece you can just get if you have regular computer paper let's show them real quick to make a square you just fold one corner down like this all the way like that oops and so if we have our computer paper we fold we fold the one side down and then all we have to do is cut right there and then this will be a square you'll have you'll have a square left over is that cool yeah okay let's do it ready okay first step we're gonna do that same that same fold you help me once i get it set up okay you're the best helper when we do this all right dude okay fold down here oop start here start right here and then push that way there you go and then start right here and push that way yes good job you did it oh and we're a little off so we can straighten that so we'll realign these two corners like that and then kind of redo it there we go awesome okay next step we're gonna fold this corner over to that corner okay okay so here we go you want to hold that down and then i'll fold it whoop okay hold it there you go good job so now we got another triangle but it's a little smaller right yeah okay next step we're gonna open this up and we're gonna fold this we're gonna open here and then fold this guy down let's see we could do this to make it a little easier we'll fold that this way that corner down and now can you help me do this yeah we're gonna open this up and then push this down good job okay fold that over there and i'll fold this side yes good job dude give me five okay now that we got that we're gonna flip it over and we're gonna do the same on this side we can fold this down you pulled that push it down really hard and then we're gonna open it up like if i can get it there we go let me open this up and then push this down and we do this part okay one sec hold on one sec hold on one second there we go okay now press it down good job dude you're such a good helper yeah okay so now we got it we got both sides squashed huh okay next we're gonna just do this on one side so we're gonna fold this corner to the middle like that help me press that one down press it down yeah good job then we're gonna do this side so we're doing that same on this side like the same one yeah the same one push oh yeah okay and then we're gonna fold this corner this point down like that press right there job then we can open it up okay and then we're going to take this top the top piece and open it up like that and then we're going to press these sides down that's the mouth this isn't the mouth this is gonna be his front legs okay now let me press this down like that and we haven't read we haven't made it yet not quite we're getting close that's the hard part this part's a little tricky yeah but look you're gonna do it now press right there good so let's do that again we'll show our art friends one more time so we'll open it up and put it back the way it was here we go so we're back the way it was we open it we open up that top page and then these corners come and fold down like that that cool yeah that's pretty neat huh okay this is where we're gonna do the cut so we're gonna cut all the way down the middle of this all right you want to cut it yeah okay let me start it and then you do it you do the rest okay cut it okay hold on okay good job open it up okay one oh good job you did it awesome then i'll help you finish it there we go we got it good job okay now we got them cut now we're going to fold these down and these are going to turn into the his front flippers yeah is that cool just front legs we're going to fold both of these sides down can you do that one yeah push boom good job okay now let's do his head so we're gonna take this top part and we're gonna fold it down and then we're done almost we're almost done we're gonna fold it like that and then we're gonna fold it back pull this back up and it's a little fan fold and press down good job there we go so for art friends you can see that a little bit better you should see a little step right there that cool yeah yes and then on this side it looks like that it's looking like a turtle huh yeah it's starting to yeah all right okay now we're gonna fold in so that he doesn't have points on his legs yeah we're gonna fold open it up and then fold this in and squish it back down and then this one yeah then we do the same on this side open it up like that now fold it in and then squish it back down you want to try and make those look the same the same size same length yeah cool now they're a little flat no not quite done yet almost done okay we're gonna do his bottom feet okay okay so see these little the little ends right here yeah you get one side and we're gonna fold it out like this press press down hard yeah you did it and then we're going to do the same on this side fold up to the same point so they're the same length on both sides push push hard you did it you did it austin now let's do his tail and that's the same as the steps up here but we're going to do it down here at the bottom so we fold it like this fold the top corner down top point down push good and then we're going to fold it back and you can make it a little small a little smaller than his head because it's his tail right yeah and then that should look the same as the step on the the head and then if you turn it over it looks like that so we're almost done but look there's two points on this side yeah huh so let's flip it back over and then we're just gonna fold these points in so they touch that little line right there push that down one sec one sec there we go push i like how you push in one spot you get that one spot really well okay then we do the other side push push again good job austin and we flip it over you flip it we're done it looks like a cool turtle huh look at that yeah he attacked you yeah do you want to keep them should we show them all yeah we hope you guys had fun folding your turtles
