How To Fix Helldivers 2 Black Screen Problems | 2024

right so hey guys in this video I'm going to sh how to fix hell diverse or Hell diverse to um the black screen issue so it's pretty common and let's get into fixing it so um disclaimer I don't have the game so I'm going to be using this Blood Stained curse of the Moon as an example so make sure you do this to your hell divers 2 on Steam and I'll use this as my example okay so what you're going to do is you're going to open Steam right there okay and then you're going to find here your hell diverse to as I'm using blood stain I'm just going to act that this is my heal device tool okay you're going to right click on that going to manage and then going to browse local files that should open your file explorer okay and you should have a folder here that says bin open that double click on it and you should have another folder that says game guard okay so you're going to delete game guard since that is your anticheat which may corrupt the game so you can just delete that and try to launch the game and that should help you uh fix the problem if that doesn't uh what you can do is you can go back to the um folder okay so once you enter do that bin folder okay you will have you can scroll down until you find the DOT EXE the hell diverse 2.exe okay so once you go into the AE file you're going to right click on the exe file okay and then go into properties and in properties you're going to go to the compatibility tab okay and you're going to make sure run this program as administrator is checked Okay click on apply and okay so this will make sure the app uh runs in administrator mode whenever it's launched okay so that that can be a fix uh another fix I would say is you just right click on the application and then just um go down to show more options right there and then you can click on send go to send to and go to desktop okay so now what you do is there'll be a shortcut created on your desktop so you can just launch the game from your desktop rather than going into steam that should be another fix so if that doesn't work let's move on to the next which is uh fixing your visual C++ redistributable for visual studio 2012 update for so this link right here will be in the description below so you can just click on the link okay and you click on the download button okay and then here you're going to go for the x64 version or you can go for the x86 depends on what 32 or 64 bit if you have if you have 32bit click on the x86 if you have 64 bit click on the x64 and then just click on download once that is done just run it agree and install it and click on yes and close Okay so if you have already installed it okay you can just click on download and it should look something like this okay and if if it looks something like this just click on repair and then click on yes okay and that and you can close this close this and restart your computer okay restart your computer and try launching the game okay and if none of it works the last result will be to right click on the H divers to game in your steam library right here and then go into properties okay in properties you're going to go into the installed files right here and you're going to click on verify Integrity of game files if you have a download uh going on this will reset the whole download so make sure the game is fully downloaded and you're going to verify the Integrity of the files and this will take a while okay since you'll go through all of the files looking for any corrupted files or half downloaded files so once this is completed you can try launch the game and that should help you fix the issue with the back black screen uh on hell ders too so that's all for this video guys if you have any other issues any other problems please put the comments below and think that's about it so thanks for watching [Music] folks
