Helldivers 2 not launching on Steam? After hours of trying, here's how I FIXED it

hey Gamers just a quick tip if you're having trouble launching hell divers 2 on Steam I might have a potential solution for you I wasn't able to record the issue itself but what happened for me was that whenever I click this green play button it scor changes to blue with a label that says stop on it then goes back to a green play button just after a few seconds but there's it shows no error at all but doesn't launch the game if it's the same for you the way I fixed it is that I went to the Microsoft website particularly to this page right here where you can download the 2012 version of the C++ redistributable package mind you it needed to be this 22 version specifically I already tried downloading the latest one like most people suggested on Discord but those did not work for me this version however worked now the Links are in the description for those of you who want to follow with me and then I just click this blue download button and selected the appropriate package for my system which in my case is the X 641 you can determine which one's for you by going to system information in your PC so after downloading it you just need to run the XC file you might need to restart your PC after installation just to make sure it's installed properly and after that go back to steam click the green button and hopefully the game runs fine now if that helped you please don't forget to leave me a like subscribe I don't normally do these types of how to fix videos but I saw on Discord that a lot of people are struggling with this so I might as well make one since I was able to sort it out for myself so yeah thank you and have fun
