How to FIGHT with a GARAND!

[Applause] [Music] all right this time i'm gonna let him shoot the old gun and uh so you know what kind of gun this is m1 grand very good he's never shot one i just showed him how to load it a minute ago so he's never shot one before he's never loaded one he just saw me do it and we're about to put him in there so this is like a real a real found gun yeah kind of stage now you might have noticed this soe belt rig here cotton canvas oh let's check this [ __ ] out can you read that to him jay no no the numbers jackass 1944 [Laughter] 1944 so we're gonna we're gonna put this thing on him and go over there and do another team tactics drill with that m1 garand fight movie move um covered move [Applause] cover move see five how'd it go it was interesting i had something happened where half of an m block came up and out uh with rounds still in it um so i didn't really know remediation for uh malfunction on it got it going yeah just out with the old in with the new run the bolt and go stand up now shoot that target like literally that was the first time we ever shot one [Music] [Applause] hey shoot steal just ready for 30 out six [Applause] all right all right all right come on hey you can't move off the camera you can't knock it hey come here you can't knock the camera guy down so uh okay let's just leave it all right but we're over here now you're out of the fight all right it called ceasefire already okay all right so what'd you think about shooting a classic uh you can tell it's got some some power to it i didn't know i didn't know what caliber it was going into it um do you know now oh yeah so definitely it's got some umph yeah but it was i mean pleasure to shoot so and so this was on purpose uh there's a lot of guns that lewis hasn't shot first right and he's kind of used to me throwing him right into something his first time shooting a revolver was with ken hackathorn shooting a time stage ken hackathon hitting the buzzer and him going uh okay so this is another one of those times like this is another fine mesh you've got me into yeah um so found gun like people talk about found gun drills all the time but usually people find something they know right you didn't know that gun nope nope but but i mean it goes back to the training over gun yeah yeah right yeah having training is more important than having a gun so you can get mapping if you want yep like find something pick it up it'll like fixing that malfunction there like out with the old yeah and with the new bullets come in somewhere they go out somewhere and then run the boat yeah like you're not gonna find uh something that on this side of the gun for for that i'm sure so run the bolt like all right it's nice and easy all right james yeager and lewis with that response reminding you that your responsibility to be able to be ready for the fight even with the guarant never ends
