How to EDIT VIRAL 'Alex Hormozi Style' Videos on your Phone! #CapCut

now let's start with the tutorial did you know that you can make short firm content in this Alex Hermos style like you're seeing it right now directly on your smartphone with a free app in this video I'll show you step by step how it works so that that you can make viral short from content let's get started welcome back to the channel in case you're new here welcome super glad to have you my name is julan I'm the creator of smartphone film making Pro and let me know guys how did you like the Alex her MOSI style short form content all of this has been done on my iPhone 14 pro but the exact same thing can also be done on any Android phone and the cool thing the app that I'm using in this video is called cap cut it does work on iPhone on Android phones and even on computers so no matter what device you have you will be able to follow along step by step in this process the first step in the process obviously is to record a nice looking and nice sounding video of yourself I won't cover this in more detail right now just one tip make sure that you capture some clean audio of yourself there's nothing more annoying than watching a video with bad audio nobody will do that so make sure to capture some clean audio the microphone system that I have been using is the DJI mic I will link it down below Below in case you want to check it out but now let's get started with the editing process all right so as mentioned before the app that I will be using in this video is called cap cut it is a free app but you can also upgrade down the road if you want to get even more features the way and how it works is super simple just tap on new project and then just select the clip that you have already recorded then you can pre-trimmed to you know to only have the part of the video that actually worked out so for me my video is starting around about here I'll just leave it like this and import it because I can tweak it later on right here let's play it back let's see if that works yeah that looks pretty good and at the end I will also just cut off when I'm done talking so so the first thing that I like to do is I like to cut off the beginning of the video and the end so that I only have the parts that's actually going to end up in the final video the next thing that I always like to do to my Clips is I like to color grade my video to have a cinematic looking image the way and how this works is super simple just select your clip and then at the bottom here scroll over to right until you can find adjust then you have filters you could use them but I like to just do this manually super simple I like to add bits of contrast I like to add saturation maybe not too much something like this brightness is looking pretty good I will actually leave this at zero um I don't like to sharpen my image you could add graphs so you could um add even more contrast not going to do that for now highlights I'll bring the highlights down just a little bit the Shadows up a little bit the temperature is looking a bit warm so I'll just turn that down just ever so slightly this is basically if your image is too orange or Too Blue you can change that here that's basically you could add just a tiny bit of a vignette sometimes that works yeah maybe something like two and then yeah we have a basically finally color graded image and now it's already looking very good so these are the first two steps the next thing you need to do to create viral content and Alex heroi style content is to add subtitles to your videos in cap cut it's super simple at the bottom you can see a text icon just select that click on that and then the third icon is autoc captions and at the bottom here cap cut does have a pro feature where you can identify filler words and where it cuts out basically all the dead spot you can turn that on or off I will just turn that on for now the language that I have is English but here you could also select to a different language and then just press on start and it's analyzing in the background and yeah you can see it in real time right now it's super simple and yeah this is what looks like so what you can see right now this is what cap cut has created it's like did you know that you can make sure from content and so on and we have subtitles already which is great for short firm content as most people don't watch it with sound anyways but it's not looking like Alex her MOSI style at all so the next thing that I like to do is I like to just select one of these captions and then at the bottom you have bch edit and here you basically can find a transcript of everything that you're talking and what I like to do is I like to keep the amount of words that I have in a single uh in a single phrase frame to like around about 3 to maximum five so the way how this works is super simple so basically you just go into captions file and that yeah basically you just select them and it will automatically keep everything synced up to what you're speaking so that's super nice Alex her MOSI style um if you're seeing it right now yes let's leave that directly on your smartphone with a free app in this video I'll show you then let's have step by step how it works so you can make viral short form content let's get started yeah something like this this is what I would be going for you can of course go through your entire video and make it even shorter or a bit longer but this is basically the process that I like to follow the next thing that we of course need to change is the style because at the moment it's not looking like you know anything professional at all so again just select one of these subtitle clips and then at the bottom bottom you have style and then inside of this menu you have a bunch of different options I would start off with the font because I would like to change the font and I would like to only have big letters so at the bottom here you have a bunch of different presets that cap cut is providing but you can also import your own font just by going here to add font but I'll just uh pick some of these that capcut is offering me right now let's see what do you want yes something like this or yeah maybe that one I think that's looking pretty good let's keep that then let's hop over to style and one thing that I always like to do is I like to add a drop shadow and also a stroke around my captions cap cut does have a preset for this it's super simple just this one right here as you can see we now have um a stroke around that and that's looking pretty damn good so this is basically how it looks like right now and as you can see it has already transformed that to all of the other Clips as well as mentioned before I would also like to add a drop shadow to my image so at the bottom here you see can see we have a bunch of different options and then I will go over to Shadow and then I'll just pick black for this and yeah something like this I think as you can see you can also make it red whatever but black is basically the one that I'm going for so this is what it looks like right now and you can basically sift through your entire short firm content and see if it is working you know the way you wanted to the next thing that we're going to do is we would like to point out different words different phrases that we're saying so the most important parts of our videos they should be yellow or green or something like this and the way and how you can do this is let's just go through did you know that you can make short form content for example let's go into that then we can just select the short and then at the bottom here let's hop over to short or to the style basically and then I will go to enable the apply to Auto captions because otherwise it would be adding this filter to all the clips that we have we don't want that then I'll just make that short yeah yellow for example short from cont let's also make that entire thing yellow select that select everything again hop over to style and make that yellow we can also scale that up you can also change the positioning something like this and as you can see we now have you know all of this is just white the short form is yellow right now we can also change the positioning or change the size basically and yeah we also Chang the rotation of that and we can make that bigger a little bit we can also change up the position Alex her most is written wrong here or mosy but overall the autoc captions feature is doing pretty good if you don't like the presets that cap cut is providing you you can of course also change that manually as you can see for the text here for example I want that to be green so let's pick something like this so this is basically how it works this is how you can tweak your short from content and then all you got to do just go through the entire thing and basically just change it how you like it so I'll just do that very quickly for you guys now so so this is how it works this is how you can add subtitles automatically this is how you can tweak the length and this is also how you can tweak the style and the overall looks of your subtitles make sure to go through the entire video like this and pick out the most important words that you would like to point out and make them green yellow orange whatever the next effect that I want to show you that many influencers and also Alex Heros is using very often is this phas tracking feature for some portion of the video and I'll basically just pick out some some portion of the video let's just pick that one split that up here short from content yeah up until this point maybe up until this point maybe and now we have this um portion of the clip here split up as you can see um and all we got to do is at the bottom here go to camera tracker and then you can see you can pick between Face Body and hand and I want to track the face so basically cap cut is also again doing this in the background you can change the rotation you can say fit canvas so it's basically assuming in that you're not losing you know any portions of the video basically you can say keep the face size blur canvas and so on you can also change the rotation you can basically just play around with that and now let's see how this looks so it's a bit bumpy at the beginning so what I'm going to do is I would like to zoom in a little bit to make this a bit smoother yeah something like this this is basically how it works I have not been moving around too much so the effect is not looking too special here but overall it's a very cool effect to draw the attention Heros is also often doing this with his hands so if he's moving around then he's basically tracking his hands so it's just one way to make the image just look visually a bit more interesting for your viewers so another thing that you could do to make the video look more interesting for your viewers is to add images or other videos or animated gifs or something like this to your video I'll just show you how that works very quickly um of course it depends on the video that you're making and what you're talking about but for the video that I have right here like short firm content and make it go viral I think there is somewhere the word viral yeah let's see here is viral so maybe something that I could add here is a rocket or something like this and the way how it works and the way on how you can add something like this to your videos is I have basically downloaded a PNG of a rocket and and save that to my smartphone and then all you got to do is at the bottom here go to Overlay then add overlay and then go over to photos and as you can see I have a rocket right here and then I'll just yeah place that at the position where I want want it I could also animate this with key frames here for example so yeah maybe let's just animate that let's see let's at this point maybe I just want to have it out of the frame already and if we go at the beginning then I want to have it starting somewhere here and then we have a rocket flying through the image so yeah something like this you can of course tweak that but I think you get the picture you could also add something like um stickers cap cut does have a bunch of different cool stickers that you can use to draw the attention to some something yeah let's say free app here for example let's add another overlay because we're to text let's change the position a little bit um yeah something like this also make it a bit smaller maybe now let's go back and as you can see now with this overlay here we have the cap cut master class and I can also um animate this let's just go to animation and then you have a bunch of different options you have in out and you have also some combinations um yeah something like this maybe can just fade it in or something that's a bit more um yeah attention grabbing something like this maybe and then let's go back to stickers it's at the bottom here at the very right and then you have arrows here for example and then we can basically just pick some of these arrows or something like this to just draw the attention of the people to exactly so there we have the arrows we can change the positioning we can change everything let's just something like this yeah we of course need to tweak that but I think you get the picture and the more visual elements you're adding to your videos the better the final result is going to be so after you're done and happy with all of the tweaking and adding of different aspects to your video all you got to do is export the clip at the toping cap cut just tip on export I would recommend to leave the settings at to 1080p for online distribution to social media at the moment as of recording of this video usually platforms prefer if you add music through YouTube shorts or Tik Tok or Instagram reals so I would not add or bake in music directly into this video do this on the platform itself and overall if you would like to learn everything there
