How to edit like Ali Abdaal in Davinci Resolve

[Music] [Applause] hello and welcome to CSA design today I am going to show you how to make this early ad the like animation in Dar Vinci resolve let's jump into it open Dar Vinci resolve and go to edit page first of all import these videos I have downloaded these videos from pixel.com make new Fusion composition and go to fusion page drag the first video to the floating window add a background node connect media in with background it will create a merge node my video has larger resolution so I have to resize it at a resize node then at a transform need select background and change the color to white now add a rectangle mask and connect it with a mask input of Marge go to frame number 24 set the width value 0.23 set the he value 0.55 set the center x value 0.85 set the corner radius to 0.15 now add key frame on Center width and height go to frame number 100 lock this enter width and height value as it is go to very first frame set this enter x value 0.5 width value 1.1 hard value 1.1 now go to frame number 24 and select transform set the center x value 0.95 set the center y value 035 change the size value to 0.92 now add key frame on size and Center values go to frame number 100 and lock the center X and size value as it is go to very first frame and change the Cent x value to 0.5 and Center y value to 0.5 size value to one go to very last frame and set the default value of Center and size select rectangle and go to very last frame change the center x value to 0.5 width value to 1.1 and height value to [Music] 1.1 now select transform and go to very last frame change the size value to One open spline window and smooth the key frames are showing on the screen now we are going to add a glowing border with this so for that add a merge node after merge one and connect a background node with it select rectangle one and copy it and paste instance copy of it connect the instance rectangle with background select instance rectangle right click on solid and instance set right click on Border width into instance set set the butter width value 0.003 and uncheck solid select background and change the color to white blue select instance rectangle and go to frame number 24 add a key frame and length value go to frame number 50 add a key frame and length value go to previous key frame and set the length value zero go to frame number 100 and set the length value zero open spline window and smooth the key frames now add soft glow with it set threshold value 0 .2 and gain value 1.2 now we have to add The Boll media connected before the main video it creates merge 3 add a resize node to resize it add a transfer node connect rectangle mask with media 2 set the width value 0 .8 set he value 0.85 set Corner radius 0.1 change the center x value to 0.45 go to frame number 30 and select transform 2 add a key frame and Center values go to very first frame change the center x value to minus 0.5 open spline window and smooth the key frames now how a drop shadow node with transform two change the drop angle to Zero Drop Distance to [Music] zero Shadow strength to 0.6 and blur value to 0.6 now the last thing motion blur you can see nice and simple animation if you like my videos kindly subscribe to my channel and share this video thanks for watching [Music] [Applause] [Music] bye
