hey you guys we're so glad you're with us again we're going to draw two birds what kind of birds a love birds yeah love birds they're going to be hugging because they're in love now we're going to start with our paper horizontal that's because we're going to draw the love birds over here we're going to draw this stick really long now we're going to start by drawing our little love bird's eye the first one we're going to start by just drawing a little oval and it's really small and we can color it in good now right here next to his eye we're going to draw the first part of his beak so we're going to draw a sideways vshape nice and then we're going to draw a little hook for the top of his beak coming down then we're going to hook back in we're going to go like this and then curve back into his yes into that little V okay now we're going to draw the bottom of his beak we're going to draw a curve that comes down nice now right here we're going to curve back this way for the little feathers on the bottom of his beak okay now let's draw the top of his head we're going to start over here on his beak and we're going to draw a curve that goes all the way over and back down on this side and it comes down so it's in line with the bottom of his beak yeah I like it I like how your bird's looking it's looking awesome okay now we're going to draw our other love bird's head and we're going to start by drawing the the eye just like we did on the first one and we drew it right next to the beak good then we're going to draw that little V shape that we started with we're repeating a lot of the same steps but his head's her her head's going to be facing towards him so we're drawing opposite direction so now we're going to draw the top of the beak like this and it's curving just like we did on the the first part good now we can curve that back in and then the very bottom we can draw the bottom of his beak or her beak yeah there we go and then we can also curve back the other direction all right now let's draw the top of her head so we're using a little overlapping sensor snuggling each other we're going to draw we're going to connect to the beak here and then we're going to imagine it going behind the beak and Cur curving around to create the back of her head yeah good job oh it's a big one I like it they're going to look really awesome okay now we can draw the rest of her body and then we're going to draw his body behind hers okay so we're going to draw a little curve that comes down this we don't want to go too far down because we need room for the stick and for their feet okay and then we can draw her body over here we're going to finish coming around this way it's going to come down and stop so about the same we want it to be down here at the same yes okay I like okay now let's draw his body we're going to draw a big curve that comes down to the same spot down here so they're all in line okay and then we're going to imagine his body going behind her beak and then if we can fit it in there we can imagine it going behind her beak and then behind her body and then right here we can have it curve back yeah good I like it now this now she looks like she's in front of his body but his head is in front of her head or his beak we're going to draw the bottom of their bodies and I'm just going to draw a little zigzag line that kind of comes around and it can be messy we don't want it to look like um yeah we want it to look natural so I'm going to draw another zigzag that comes over and connects his body that's because they're sitting right down on the branch okay now next we're gonna draw their little toes and love birds I think they when they hang onto the the branch they have two little toes on front and two little toes on the back so we're going to draw we're going to draw one toe that comes forward and then we're going to draw it coming back up and then we're going to draw another toe right next to it and then back up and then that can just Connect into the body then we're going to do the same thing over here but we're going to curve it the other direction so we'll draw one curve going this way then back up and then we'll come back down and back up good now let's repeat those same steps over here for her toes and we want them to come down about the same same length as yeah out and then back down and then back up and then we'll repeat that over here for her other her left foot there we go good job and then back up no that's good yeah you did it okay now we're missing the little stick that they're sitting on so we're going to start over here and we're going to come out of his foot and we can come over to the edge of the paper then I'm not going to draw the top of the stick here because it's underneath her body so then we're going to come over to her her foot yeah and then we're going to start over here and then we can draw kind of wobbly and I'm going to draw a little part that comes up this is going to be another Branch sticking out and then we can come back down and then we're going to finish the branch now we're going to draw the bottom of our Branch so we're going to start over here well let's start right here on the foot so we know how wide to make it and then we'll come over here connect to this foot connect to her feet and then we'll come down here and I'm going to do another little branch that sticks out the bottom and back up and then we'll finish the branch so we went kind of fast but what can our art friends do at home pause the video yes if you ever need more time you can always pause the video okay what are they missing Tails Tails now the next time we draw this we should draw it a little higher and we could fit their whole tail in there and make their brain smaller yeah you could make their little forehead smaller that's okay we're practicing okay now we're going to draw the tail now I'm going to draw a tail that comes down and then back up now if you want you could imagine it going off the page so you could go down and then stop and then come over yes exactly just like that okay now I'm going to draw another tail over here for his tail I'm just going to draw it short so I can keep it on the page okay now they're missing their wings right yeah so let's draw some little wings that stick off to the side put another little wing on right here and then let's add a wing for him and if you want if maybe you could put a little wing back here in the background cool we did it it looks awesome now they're going to look even better once we color them yeah this part we're going to fast forward but at the end you guys can pause it to match the same [Music] color Jack we did it we finished coloring our love birds and they look awesome yeah did you have fun yes this is like one one of my favorite drawings that we've done is it really yeah well how come because all the color all of the colors yeah I agree with you I think this is my favorite too I think it's so awesome that there's red on their beaks and then it Blends into the orange and then also into the yellow and then finally into that bright green on their bodies they're so pretty aren't they yeah we hope you had a lot of fun and coloring your love birds be sure to color them because they'll look so much better when you get all of that blending in there we'll see you
