hello everyone today we are going to talk about setting up media integration in TTS voice wizard to show you're currently playing song on vrchat once you head over to the media integration tab you will notice there are two options for media integration Spotify API and Windows Media mode if you primarily plan to use this feature with Spotify then I strongly recommend using spotify API mode the setup for the Spotify API mode requires going to the Spotify developer dashboard and logging into Spotify next we will create a new app the redirect URI will be HTTP forward slash forward slash localhost 5000 slash callback next head over to settings and grab your client ID and you're all set head back to the media integration tab in TTS voice Wizard and plug in that client ID and enable Spotify API mode then click the connect Spotify button and you will be redirected to web page to confirm linking the app to your Spotify account click agree now you are connected if you wanted to listen to music from YouTube in your browser for example you would select Windows Media mode then your media Source from a list in this case Chrome now that you have selected and set up the method you wish to use you can look into displaying it in VR chat in VR chat for the text to actually appear in the chat box you will want to enable osc from the vershot radio menu now when you switch songs it should display the song info if the song is not displaying then troubleshooting steps can be found at the end of the video next we can look over some of the options available if you want the song to stay above your head in VR chat you can turn on output continuously which will update the chat box based on however much time we have set for the update interval so 5000 milliseconds would be every 5 Seconds the fastest update interval allowed is 1 500 milliseconds or every 1.5 seconds if you want to Output continuously but stop the output when the song is paused then turn on stop output while paused you can also customize the output however you want in settings you can turn on high text delay and use high text delay for chat box which will make the message disappear after the amount of milliseconds specified without using High text delay the chat box will stay up for as long as a user has their display duration set in VR chat settings mine is currently set to 35 seconds so I will see any users messages for 35 seconds before they disappear additionally by default new users that are not your friend will be unable to see your chat box to fix this you will need to either friend them or ask them to turn on chat boxes for everyone right here you can also set whether you want that chat box to be above head or waist level now we will go over some troubleshooting steps if the song you are playing does not appear in the chat box first make sure that you did enable osc in the radial menu if it still doesn't appear then open the osc debug menu and see if parameters appear in there so if you do see parameters in the debug we will want to try resetting the config and restarting vrchat if that doesn't work you will want to close VR chat delete the osc folder from the specified path and relaunch the game the last step you will want to try is restarting your computer if that doesn't work join the Discord and create a help Post in the appropriate Channel these are the steps for if parameters do not appear in the osc debug if you have any trouble following them make a help Post in Discord thank you so much for watching and enjoy using TTS voice wizard
