HOW TO CREATE Shipping Profiles On Etsy & Fulfil Etsy Orders | ETSY Shipping Tutorial 2021

since i started making etsy tutorials a lot of you have been asking me how to process etsy shippings and how you actually fulfill etsy orders it really is so so simple especially if you're in the us hey guys welcome back to my channel my name is samantha in today's video we're gonna be doing two things i'm gonna be first of all showing you how to create your shipping profiles on etsy and secondly how to fulfill your etsy orders we're gonna jump right into it and you're going to need to log into your etsy shop i'm assuming that you've already opened your shop by now or if you are still considering opening an etsy shop this process that i'm going to be showing you right now to create your ac profiles and to fulfill your orders actually needs you to have opened your etsy shop and then setting your etsy shipping profile is going to be like the next step that will determine how you fulfill your order thereafter so we're going to start right up front you're going to need to log into your shop on etsy.com and go into your shop manager which is on the top right corner after which you will then go into your settings and go into your delivery settings into the next section which is delivery profiles so now we are going to be creating a delivery profile so in this section it is going to allow you to choose which countries you want to ship to or which countries you're going to be able to ship to and we're going to be creating two profiles one for international shipping and one for domestic or local shipping if you are based in the united states you have the privilege of actually having two options where you have etsy helping you to ship your products through their fulfillment and printing labels or to do your own fixed shipping charges so anyway the dispatch origin is the country that you're based in here in my case it's united arab emirates so i will select united arab emirates and the processing time is going to be for me i will keep it let's say one to two business days and you can see that etsy has put a note here which says buyers are more likely to purchase items that dispatch quickly so you want to keep your processing time your dispatch time really really minimal so the customer doesn't wait too long on the other end all of this information is available to customers when they're about to make a purchase on your shop so they will see an estimate of when they will get their product so you don't want to make your processing time too long that people don't actually end up buying from you because they're worried that it's going to take too long to get the product then again it depends with you and the product that you are making so if your product is custom made and you want to be able to to custom make it within that time that of course you can use a longer processing time and your customers will understand it if you have clearly described that your product is being customized for them they may be willing to wait a little bit longer than somebody who's just clicking and wanting the product asap so just moving it right along to the actual delivery prices etsy absolutely loves free shipping and promotes shops that offer free shipping so the first page that you land on within your delivery settings is actually a page that is enticing you and encouraging you to offer free shipping to buyers in the united states and uh here the details are basically that you will offer free shipping to anybody who pays or buys products with 35 us dollars or more but you're going to want to be able to factor that shipping price into your product and i'm gonna do a separate video for how you can actually offer free shipping without actually you losing money without you incurring the cost of that shipping expense or to lower your shipping rate so if you're interested in that let me know in the comment section below and i will leave a link so we're going to have two prices here price for local shipping the second profile is going to be for international but what you can also do within the delivery profiles is to choose specific countries that you want to be shipping to and how much you want to be charging for delivery to those countries and the time that you will take to deliver to those countries so anyway um this is how you create your shipping profiles i will now show you how to fulfill an order if you have successfully made a sale maybe it's your first sale and you just want to know like how am i going to do this how am i going to fulfill my actual order this is what i'm going to be showing you right now this video is particularly for people who are not in the united states the page the whole setup and the whole fulfillment process looks a bit different for people in the united states because you have etsy helping you to ship your products um through their fulfillment and printing labels so i don't have access to that since i'm actually based in the united arab emirates right now so the process for me requires that i go on to fedex or dhl to actually prepare my shipping document and then send the product over through them to the customer so again you will be logged into your etsy shop and if you're using your desktop you will just go to the shop manager um drop down menu which will be on the left hand side of your screen and scroll down to the bottom which is orders and delivery here you will find a section that actually shows you how many new or open orders that you have that need to be dispatched and there you'll have the address the details of the product that has been purchased the quantities and where they need to be shipped to and here you can mark your order as complete and provide the shipping or tracking number to the customer if you really have that done anyway i'm able to print the shipping labels here at home so i've just printed my shipping labels and i'm just going to go back into the order to mark it as shipped well it'll be shipped when the korea comes to pick it up or when i deliver it there if you're not able to actually book your shipping labels online you can just take your package to dhl fedex ups or any postal service that you're using and they will just do the whole um shipping label for you and attach it to your product and then it will be on its way at that time is ideal time for you to actually say mark to mark your product as shipped and to provide your customer with their tracking number so they can track the package as well as they like so you can also use your etsy app on your mobile device that would be also really easy just log right in and you just go to open orders and mark as shipped provide your details to your customer like a tracking number so that they can also see that detail and then track their package as it goes on this is really
