How to Convert BOOTABLE Drive to NORMAL Drive (2024) Step by Step

good day everyone welcome back to Crown geek in this video I will be explaining that how to create a bootable USB drive or pen drive into a normal Drive so previously if you have converted any kind of Drive pen drive into a bootable USB drive but now we just need to revert the action and you want to use it as a storage so how you can do that now many people have the problem that when they try to format it they don't get that option so now no need to worry because I won't be using any kind of third-party application or any kind of software the process is very simple what you will have to do click on your windows search type CMD right click on the command prompt choose run as administrator then click on yes the black window will be coming up now here the First Command that you will have to type will be disk art and this command will take you in the disk partition so now we can see all kind of disk available on our computer so for that you have to type list space disk so it says we have disk 0 and disk 1. and both the status are online the size is 476 gigabyte which is this one that is my primary drive where the operating system has been installed then we have the disk one that is 465 gigabyte this one so it means that this is the drive that we want to convert into a normal drive and format it all right so the next command we have to select this disk so just type select disk and this is the one that we just need to convert that is disk one so I will type disk one now hit the enter key so now once you have selected it finally you will have to type clean hit the enter key again and just wait for some time and you will get this message disk bar succeeded in cleaning the disk and now there are two more command that you will have to type so the next one will be great partition primary hit the enter key again and you will get a message disk part succeeded in creating the specified partition and now the final command will be format space FS equal sign then type fat 32 space quick hit enter again and it says zero percent complete now you just need to wait here until this is 100 completed and once all the command has been completed you just need to close it now just reinsert your pen drive reinsert your drive again back to your computer so just remove it once and then reconnect it again so after reinserting probably you will see your drive over here but in case if you do not find the drive displayed on the file explorer like Ping then next what you will have to do you need to make a right click on the Windows icon then you have to click on Disk Management and your disk will be displayed over here and it says the raw drive so now what you will have to do here just make a right click on it choose delete volume then click on yes then make a right click on it again choose new simple volume click on next next next next and finish and now you'll see that it's formatting and again if you go back to your file explorer you would be able to find your drive back here with no data and when you will open it it will be all neat and clean so this is how you can quickly convert your bootable drive into a normal drive and you can format your bootable Drive easily with few simple steps so hopefully guys you will find this video helpful and if yes do not forget to like And subscribe and I see you in the next video bye
