How To Clean Up Your Audio In Davinci Resolve 18

in this video I'll show you how you can clean up your audio intervention resolve I'm gonna preview this one this is an example of how you can clear your audio in DaVinci Resolve so this is the pre-recorded voiceover that I have just made in order to make an example for this tutorial and now I'm going to take this raw recording and I'm going to leave it on audio track number one so that we can make a comparison and our first step is to track the decibels are they going in the Red Zone this is an example of how you can clear your audio in DaVinci Reserve as you can see it's very unpleasant to hear and I'm gonna reduce the decibels to about -8 and I'm going to test it out this is an example of how you can clear your audio in DaVinci result and as you notice it is still going a tiny bit on the red zone so I'm gonna reduce it to -10 this is an example of how you can clear your audio in DaVinci Resolve and now already it's starting to sound better so in my case -10 is working just fine as long as it's not going in the red levels next step is going to equalizer so I'm clicking on equalizer twice and I'm enabling it also I'm gonna enable band number one I'm Gonna Keep band number two and I'm gonna disable band three four and five and that's because we're not gonna use it now we're gonna change the frequencies and we're gonna try to remove the log frequencies on band number one so firstly I'm gonna test it out and I'm gonna increase it to around 220 and see how it's gonna sound we're gonna try to remove our modiness this is an example of how you can clear your audio in DaVinci Resolve so now I'm gonna leave it as it is right now we're gonna move off to band number two and firstly I'm gonna test it out by reducing the frequencies to around 90 and below the frequencies on band number two I'm also gonna increase the gain I'm gonna leave it on plus 5.5 and then I'm gonna preview it once again to see how it sounds this is an example of how you can clear your audio in DaVinci Resolve you can notice our mixer is going in the red again this is an example of how you can clear your audio in DaVinci Resolve so that means that we can reduce our gain overall on The Equalizer because it's little bit more over the top I'm gonna take it down a tiny bit this is an example of how you can clear your audio in DaVinci Resolve now it sounds better but I'm gonna use it even a little bit more to -5 this is an example of how you can clear your audio in DaVinci Resolve and I'm pretty happy with what I hear so now I'm gonna preview both of them this is an example of how you can clear your audio in DaVinci Resolve this was after and now I'm gonna preview before this is an example of how you can clear your audio in DaVinci reserve and once again the end result this is an example of how you can clear your audio in DaVinci Resolve and remember that the values of the settings that I have just made is based on the audio so in your case it could be different I hope this video was helpful thanks for watching and see you in the next one
