hello so we're back again and we're gonna clean the inside glass of our oven hey guys welcome back to my channel so today we are going to clean the oven glass in between the two panes of glass so you can clean the inside glass as much as you want and uh you clean the outside glass but sometimes you get some some crumbs sometimes you get you know some some grease sometimes you get some streaking in there so you you want to make sure you can clean the inside of the glass I will tell you my disclaimer is this is that if you do this you would could likely uh impact your warranty on your oven so again your your warranty is going to be about a year you're probably not going to do this in the first years it's probably going to be something that is one of those things where you're already off warranty anyway and uh you just really can't stand the fact that you're you're in between glass is not clean so we're gonna show you how to do that today okay so the items you're going to need will be dependent on what you have for an oven but a lot of them use a T15 tool which is like a little star tool so we're gonna use that we're also we got uh Platinum power wash Dawn because grease to cut through the grease if there's grease in between there look at that we have a just a kind of a wet or a damp towel that we're going to use to help wipe it down and it really depends it's Dawn so I'm not really super super uh concerned about my hands so I'm not going to wear these today but it's always a good idea if you have sensitive skin or whatever to wear gloves when you're using cleaning supplies so we're gonna do that now you can take the oven door off you can take the whole oven door off we showed that in a different video I'll put a link in the description below to that video you can take it off it might make it easier if you're not really like keen on bending down to do this work I'm okay with it so I'm just going to leave it on uh and I'll show you uh how we can go about cleaning the inside glass okay so step one is you have these two top screws you're going to open your oven door and you're going to look for these two top screws and basically you're going to loosen these two stop screws so keep in mind that the handle depending again on your oven um I'm supporting the handle underneath with my hand because these screws might also be holding the handle of your door on so if it does you don't want it to you know hit you in the foot if you're doing it from here or um that sort of thing so I'm keeping my my other hand on that to make sure that we don't have that issue so and then I'm just loosening these two screws up right oh okay that's it okay so after after those two screws are taken out you'll see that it kind of is spring loaded like you see that it the you want to support the bottom the handle for ours didn't come off right the handle is connected with different screws but now you can see that I'm going to hold the two pieces together with one hand you can see that I'm in between the glass so I'm in between the outside glass and the inside glass so I'm going to then spray this down and really clean the in between glass here and then uh wipe it all down and then we'll put it back together okay so we put a just a box this is pretty light this front part's a little pretty light we put a box in there you can see ours isn't super dirty in here but you can see there's crumbs in the bottom and things like this you know you can see some lines in here where something got in there so we're just gonna basically get some of the crumbs out of there first just using a towel to kind of get the crumbs out of there and get those out of the the way so I'm gonna use that just kind of wipe down the inside now we'll do obviously we're gonna do both we're gonna do the up here too you know we want to make sure we get the whole whole glass clean so I'm gonna get that wiped out really well here we go then like I said we wanted to make sure to get some of the grease off so we're using power wash so I'm going to spray that on pretty generously and I'll do the top as well I'm just gonna leave that sit for a couple just a few minutes here not a really long time just to let you know because it is a a grease removing type Dawn's grease removing so letting it sit for a little bit will be good for it I'm going to rinse my Rego and then we're going to wipe everything down really well so I'm going to clean the top first just in case something falls off I don't have to clean the bottom a second time so I'm going to clean the top first and get that really nice and wiped down you're gonna have to rinse your your your cloth off a few times to make sure that you get this really good but I'm gonna get this wiped down really well and you probably need a little bit of paper towel you know just to get all the the power wash off and then paper towel it so it's nice and nice and streak free so that's really pretty good there and I didn't try to get some that power wash in some of these little crevices here but I got a little bit in there so get that in there a little bit of the paper towel if you can and then a good thing to do is you know if this was cleaner on the top it'd probably be better to start with so you can see if there's any streaking or whatever but um I'm also just going to kind of wipe down the outside so if I see anything I can take care of the inside with it getting it clean okay then we're gonna do the same thing with the bottom we're gonna go through a kind of a scrub down rinse our cloth scrub down again and you might have to put a little bit more elbow grease in this one or you know that sort of thing but you know keep in mind that this is glass you don't want to scratch it and again check your warranty if you're under warranty you might want not want to do it okay so again all we used was power wash we did it a couple different times to get all the different Grime out of that and then we kind of use a paper towel to wipe everything down so everything's clean Top's clean Bottom's clean and really the only thing that is that um was a little bit different than I've seen in previous videos is these screws have like a little spacer this is a metal spacer so you want to make sure that you put that spacer back in there and really what it does is so that you know when you get tight here that the space between on the oven door is uh the same so you want to make sure to put that back in so I'll just show you here quick so if I put this top screw in here I'd want to make sure the spacer gets put back on here just like that and then we're going to screw the door back together foreign [Music] so I'm just going to line up the screws here quick and get those started just to hold the door in place [Music] okay and then just to make it easier use my tool to be easier too if I could find my screwdriver that did this but this works as well and so I just kind of tighten down a little bit on one side and I move to the other tighten down a little bit on the other side just to make sure you're not binding your screws so once you get your screws you're just going to make them to make them snug you don't want to over tighten them just snug them over tightening is my issue I do it with almost everything then um I'm going to go back through and just because now I didn't realize how nice it was going to clean that inside so now I'm going to go in and just clean the the glass on the inside glass on the outside so it looks perfect okay guys so that's it that's how you clean the inside glass of your oven and uh again check your warranty check the link in the description below for other cleaning videos for the inside of the oven and now this one of course and how to take your door off if you want to do it not bent over like I just did to show you this so subscribe to our videos we'll see you next time thanks [Music] oh
