[Music] foreign [Music] lawn dirt drag out of two by fours two heavy duty shelving brackets a couple lag bolts with the eyes on them and a little bit of rope all right let's get started first thing you're going to need to do guys you're going to have to cut three six foot sections of two by four and three three foot sections of two by four Once you got that cut that's all the lumber you're gonna need we'll move to the next step next you're going to want to align your boards like this your six Footers wide here three foot long uh screw them in you're going to want to do two screws at every joint so two here two here two here two here two here two here and same on the other side I recommend getting some heavy duty construction screws three inch and we'll move on to the next step next you're going to take your lag eyes that I told you to purchase these ones are 150 pound rating so together because there's one on each side that'd be 300 pounds this thing should never have more than 300 pounds resistance on it so those should suffice basically you'll just Hammer them into the end of your board here get them hammered so far and then take a flathead screwdriver and just spin them until they go in put them all the way up against there those need to be strong they're going to be supporting the weight of this thing behind your four-wheeler or your riding lawn mower or whatever you're going to pull this with next you might want to add some weight to this thing if you're especially if you're pulling it along hard drowned gravel roads so this is what those heavy duty shelving brackets are for you just screw them on I use inch and a quarter because heavy duty construction screws I gave them just a slight Gap so basically if this you could take a spare tire throw your spare tire on here that way or you could put a cinder block and these will help hold the cinder block on stop it from sliding around next you're going to tie your rope on I just used a couple bowling knots to add it onto each eye here if you can't tie a knot tie a lot it needs to be sturdy it's going to hold the weight but then another important part of this you need to just tie a knot with a loop in the middle uh that way rather than this sliding on your hitch when you're towing it it can't slide so it turns with the machine otherwise what you'll get is you'll get a corner digging in somewhere and then it'll just want to slide rather than pull straight all right guys now that this is finished I'm going to show you uh how it works and go drag some parts of my property that have needed it [Music] [Music] well I just got done dragging this this is only about 20 minutes I only went over this whole thing twice here she is she works awesome uh it's only a little crooked because I tied my knot a little off center you want to make sure to put that knot on Center and uh yeah it's nice and flat one cinder block was the trick and I mean I could have drug this a few more times and got it perfect but man this is good enough for me for 20 minutes hope you like this video guys like subscribe I got another one coming on how to make something similar but out of metal uh thanks guys Happy Dragon foreign [Music]
