How to Boil Lobster Tails

hey everybody dan the lobster man from lobstergram here today and i'm gonna show you the best way to cook and prepare lobster tails and a great little serving suggestion and it's so easy you don't have to go to a fancy restaurant you could do it in your own home and everybody think you're a five-star chef so here you go first of all you got to start with some great lobster tails that's the key at lobster grant we have a lot of great lobster tails next you want to do is make sure the tails are thawed completely thought out all the way through in the center otherwise they're not going to cook and they're not going to turn out next get a rolling boil going in a big pot of water here and then just simply put the tails in now obviously different sized tails have different size cooking times and then set your timer and then i'm going to show you a great little serving suggestion all right it's my favorite time the timer has gone off and we are ready to take the tails out and prepare them and this is my favorite part look at how beautiful that looks right there now be careful people it is hot that just came out of the boiling water so what you got to do hold them with the uh with the towel and use your handy shears here and just cut the tail right in half you can also use a knife if you want but i like to use the scissors so now you've got to cut in half and then what you simply do is just take a little clarified butter a regular melted butter if you have it spread it on there give it just a little flavor and what i always use put a little paprika on there just to make it look a little nice does that look pretty plate it just like that and now you know the best way to prepare lobster tails and a great way to serve them bon appetit with a feast flimsy deep
