[Music] Jesus we thank you thank you for the price that you paid father thank you for the price that you paid in sending your Son and Holy Spirit thank you for the price that you paid to leave your residents of heaven and make us your dwelling place we thank you and it's all because of the blood of Jesus that that could happen we honor the blood tonight [Music] we thank you for it it is our life the life is in the blood so we thank you for that life-giving blood hallelujah on December 26th I was falling off to sleep and before I did I had a sense and I I've had these experiences enough to recognize them and I had a sense of someone being tempted with the tormenting thoughts of suicide and you say well how did you sense it I could feel it all come on me you you begin to pick up what someone else is facing and it but I knew it wasn't me I knew it was somebody else and I had the sense it was somebody that would be in these services and there was an overwhelming sense of hopelessness and it just seemed this way that whether it's one person or more than one it seemed to you that dying would be better than what you were living and then I fell off to sleep and when I did I saw myself and heard what to tell you and it was this that Jesus himself was tempted with words of suicide in the wilderness experience in Luke chapter four and one of the temptations he faced Satan took him and put him on the pinnacle of the temple and said cast yourself down that's that spirit of suicide and he said in the doesn't it say that the Angels will take charge of you that she won't dice your foot against a stone what was that a misuse of the scripture a misapplication Jesus rebuked it he answered it and dr. Summerall and a service that we were with him in he said at some point in life everyone will be tempted with the thoughts of suicide because he said Jesus himself was tempted with that but Jesus showed us how to answer it and then I saw myself in that dream telling whoever this would apply to there is no shame for you being tempted this way because it didn't originate with you it originated with the devil and it's not your thoughts so there's no shame because they're not yours amen hallelujah so what I want to do is if that applies to someone come up here and don't step back because of embarrassment because there's no shame connected with this because it's not your thoughts but there's freedom here I said there's freedom here like I said it can be more than one hallelujah you stand over here alone hallelujah praise the Lord we thank you Father hallelujah and we'll just wait a moment we'll just wait a moment because so many times the devil will put pressure on people to get them just know this there's help Amen hallelujah and it doesn't mean you're failing because you feel something and it doesn't mean that faith doesn't work because you feel something God said to me months ago I remember where I was standing when he said it you know it's like that when God speaks to you it freezes that moment for you and he said to me he said when the enemy tempts someone when he suggests thoughts that trouble them now pay attention to this it's very important he said he also sends an influence that can be felt to try to persuade them to believe what he says to them for example if he's tempting someone with fear then he sends that feeling of fear to try to get you to accept what he's threatening you with if he's threatening you with failure that you're going to lose your home or your marriage or your business you will have the overwhelming sense of that failure you'll feel it it's not because it's true it's because the devil sends an influence to get you to believe what he says so you resist what you feel even don't believe it because he mimics and imitates the way God moves when God is wanting to bless someone and he speaks to them you will sense the anointing why because that anointing helps you accept what God is doing for you it doesn't make it easier to agree with what God is saying to you when you sense the anointing on you right well the devil does the same thing except his perverted imitation is he sends a feeling an influence to where you feel what he's suggesting and it seems like it's true see it's the same thing with and see you wish you could tell people who who are being tempted with homosexuality and lesbianism and sexual perversion because their body will feel all that don't believe what you feel that's just an influence to get you to accept the threats of the mind doesn't matter what you feel it matters what you choose to cooperate with just because you feel it does not make it true just because you feel a sense of hopelessness does not mean it's hopeless doesn't mean it's true Amen hallelujah greater is He that's in you amen the one that seen you is greater than what you may feel the one that's in you is greater than the threats and the bombardment that comes against the mind greater is the one that's in you than the feelings of hopelessness that may try to come over you amen it's not better to leave than to stay until you've been to your races run that's when it's best to leave when you're done amen hallelujah now I'm gonna lay hands on you but know this what you do with your thoughts and your thought life and what you allow is something you're gonna have to pay attention to once you go sit back down amen just because you can feel it does not make it true just because you hear it and it bombard you does not make it true amen the word says that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God right faith comes by you repeatedly hearing things regarding faith but the devil imitates that and he tries to get you to believe what he says by repeating it day after day after day after day but it doesn't make it true repetition does not equal truth no matter how much he bombards doesn't make it true you must answer those thoughts and those feelings answer them say I refuse to believe that amen whatever whatever Avenue he uses to threaten your life it may be different for different ones it doesn't matter what door he's banging on whether it's about your body or whether it's a fear about your family or fear about failure whatever it is it doesn't matter what the door he bangs on is he's not after the door he's after getting in and disturbing everything in the house in your spirit Amen you are well able to guard your mind against what he says your mind is not his it's yours and when it seems like your mind is not even yours anymore get up and say my mind is my mind you have to answer it amen no matter how much he pushes on the thoughts of your mind refuse to turn them over those thoughts refuse to do that the first thing you do when you leave this place because some of you I've been there you get rutted in the bombardment of that mind you just that thought just comes and comes and comes and you're trying to get rid of the thought it's not your job to get rid of the thought it's your job to refuse to believe the thought answer the thought you understand if he says you're going to whatever the threat it is that he makes you whatever he says do you say that's a lie and I don't care how much you feel like it's true doesn't matter what you feel like you talk to that thing and you say that's a lie I will not believe that and you answer it with a scripture that applies to the threat he's bringing against you're not Jesus had to do the same thing he had to do the same thing his victory was in him answering he answered what the threat was specifically you understand that that's your job if he says you're gonna lose your marriage say that's a lie will not lose my marriage answer specifically what God has joined together and no man will put asunder amen no weapon formed against my marriage will prosper that's a life if he threatens you you're gonna die early that's a lie with long life he will satisfy me see answer the threat then tell the spirit that's talking to you to leave you understand that number one answer that threat with the word tell the devil I will not believe it I don't care what I feel number two tell the spirit that was talking to you to leave that's what Jesus said he said get thee behind me Satan right he answered what Satan tempted him with and then he commanded him to leave and the last thing he did he worshiped thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and him only shalt thou worsen so number one you answer the thought don't sit and let go to bed with that thing cycling through your thought life you answer it take charge of your mind it is your mind God's given you the spirit of a sound mind your mind you've not lost it you're not losing it chores amen answer it tell the spirit that's harassing you to leave and number three turn your attention away from what you're feeling and begin to worship God because worship brings the anointing and the anointing destroys the yoke amen step number one what is it answer it specifically with the word find a scripture the Holy Ghost will lead you to the scripture to you to use and if you don't know of one maybe you're a young Christian ask somebody there are a lot of people here that know you can go to someone after the services say give me a good scripture for this amen no help you number one is what number two is what tell the Spirit that speaking to you to leave number three is what worship now see it won't take but a moment to do number one don't take but a moment to do number two but all day to do number three a lifestyle of it Amen congregation reach your hands toward these people hallelujah praise the Lord [Music] free in Jesus name name in Jesus name hallelujah I love something sister Lillian B yeoman said she said there's nothing you can't praise your way out of when it seems like it's overwhelming it's a lie can't overwhelm him sister Aimee Semple McPherson was holding a tenth Crusade in a city that was hostile to the Full Gospel message they didn't like people there speaking in tongues in their community they thought them lunatics her tent was full with hundreds and hundreds of people and some of the city rabble came out to try to shut down the meeting and surround it carrying torches of fire surrounded the tent calling in threats that they were going to burn down the tent and if anybody was in there they'd get burned up and they'd better get out so of course the people are distracted because they're all being threatened that they were gonna set the tent on fire and she looked to God and she said what do I do and he said praise me she said that's a little hard right now seeing the position I'm in and he said you're not praising me because of the position you're in you're praising me because of the position I'm in it's not about you this is what worship and praise it gets your eyes off of you and the devil is able to trouble and torment people when their eyes are entrenched upon them and that's why praise and worship is so important to your freedom because it gets you off of you and gets you on the one who is your help no matter what you're facing so your assignment is threefold and I say for anybody who's facing something what pastor Anderson was preaching on this morning regarding sickness and disease number one is what answer it number two tell the devil that's troubling you leave and usually it's a spirit of fear and number three worship now that's going to be the bulk of your activity worship worship worship and do it loud so that your mind can so it gets louder than your mind you say well I pray a lot in other tongues you know the Bible says that speak and not listen I'm not diminishing speaking in tongues but when you speak in tongues the mind isn't edified the mind can keep on and going and being troubled while you're speaking in tongues if you're facing that I found for me if there's a troubling of the mind I'm gonna have to praise and get louder than that it's coming against my mind amen no one can guard your mind for you I've had people come to me and say pastor Nancy pray for me I'm just harassed and troubled in my mind I said wait a minute I'm talking about members of the church and I said what you're wanting me to do is to get the devil to leave you alone I can't get him to leave you alone I can't get him to leave me alone but my job is to tell you what to do when he shows up I can't do for you what only you can do when he shows up so tonight if I could say it this way jumper cables right here transmitting power to help drive that thing back but whenever you have your car jumped they always say keep the engine running don't turn off the engine you'll lose the charge how do you keep the engine running walk out of here praise God I'm free thank God I'm free thank God I'm free and if then you go to bed at night tonight and the devil says nothing's changed Oh everything's changed everything has changed and I'm free I'm free well you don't feel free it's not about what I feel it's about what I know keep the engine running dad Hagin said it this way keep the switch of faith turned on that's exact same thing and that one of the best ways to keep the switch a faith turned on is worship just keep worshiping worship quit trying to figure it out because many got entrenched in that mental arena trying to figure it out listen we've all been there so none of us sit there and say whoa how did you get there we've all been there and had to get ourselves back out of there by the help of God amen your mind is your mind amen the devil wants to hold you in the mental arena getting you to try to figure out your help you don't have figured out praise it out amen hallelujah again quoting sister Yeomans there's nothing you can't praise your way out of there's nothing you can't praise your way out of and the devil will say praising is not enough for your situation praising is more than enough for your situation why because it brings the anointing and the anointing destroys that which opposes you you say it doesn't seem like it's really much aren't you glad God gave us the easy part he just gave us the easy part that's what that is amen everyone just lift your hands and say it's so good to be free it is so good to be free thank you Father then I'm free Jesus thank you for making me free and he whom the son sets free is free indeed amen I'm free I'm free well it doesn't feel any different no no no that doesn't matter the devil sends an influence to cause you to feel the wrong thing don't believe the feeling believe what God says and I listen God's help for you is so sure tonight he sent me to tell you you're free it's for your word that's your word tonight that is your word especially those of you can that's you God was speaking specifically to you repeat that back to the devil amen when he threatens you hallelujah then another thing I saw someone in a chiropractor's office getting very aggressive adjustments and they're not helping if that pertains to you and it seems to me it's a repeated visit that you keep making and it's quite dramatic what they're trying to do and I'm not saying they're wrong or bad I'm just saying that's descriptive of what I saw if that applies to you come up here real quickly will minister to you hallelujah praise the Lord praise the Lord because it seemed to me like it was a man hallelujah has dreams what is it was it with your back and your neck or what parts the generative in the neck yeah and the vertebra congregation reach your hands out this way healed in Jesus name father we thank you for that anointing that as we lay hands on this cloth that anointing goes into the cloth and it's stored there ready to set them free and as it's laid upon their body I thank you Father that they are made whole in Jesus name and if there's a presence of an evil spirit it'll drive it out we thank you for it father in Jesus name hallelujah hallelujah pastor was there any it was there any limited mobility or what what could you tell physically that it was doing I'm talking about before you came tonight what was the continual pain did you have pain coming in hallelujah praise the Lord that anointing destroys the yoke I so appreciate what Jesus told that Hagin in the Rockwall vision back in 1950 and he had the experience of going to heaven and Jesus says hold out your hands in front of him when he did the palms of his hands began to burn when he touched him he says with healing power and then he said to brother Hagin he said when you sense that anointing leave your hand and go into their body then you know they're healed he said the anointing going in equaled healing he didn't say the body changing equaled he didn't he didn't say pain leaving equal healing therefore when that anointing goes in your authorized to call yourself healed and the word on that is for the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing Amen thank God for that anointing Amen that went in your past dreams hallelujah praise the Lord futures changed by the power of God something that happened with me in recent months that helped me so much if you'll remember at different times when Edwin minister he would make this statement those of you who have been in the services with him you would remember and he would talk about every 10 years there would come an attack against him in his ministry remember that that he learned that pattern and it's it's it does well to recognize patterns because then you can be fortified against those right god works in patterns but the devil because there's nothing original in him all he can do is imitate what God does so therefore he will work in patterns as well and when I was 18 there came an attack I wasn't born again yet but there was an all-out assault on me because at 19 I was gonna be born again so the devil was trying to insert himself before that happened why because he's in the spirit realm he can see movement toward your life and when he sees movement he starts moving to try to hinder and try to if I could put say this way put up a smoke screen so that you lose view of what is ahead and you get misled or misguided because of looking what the immediate attack is instead of focusing what's on the other side that he's trying to hide and so at 18 there came that attack and at 19 I got born again at 28 there came another attack that has started because right after that I started pastoring at 38 the exact same thing at 48 the exact same thing what was in a pattern is it a curse no it's a pattern and the first three months of that attack were if I could put it mildly hell on earth very difficult each time for the next year and a half it would be it would be difficult but not like the first three months and then at the end of three years every trace of that would be gone but that's happened now four times in my life three years four times twelve years of facing these patterns of attack I had just come through one of those at the time that Ed went home to be with the Lord and had been through a season of attack because he had just gotten into his what 70s he's what happened on the year you know 30 40 50 60 70 so when Ed went home to be with the Lord I was 52 I'm 57 now and in the back of my mind I started doing the countdown it wasn't a fun countdown because you're thinking 52 okay 58 58 because you recognize the pattern 53 54 birthdays were a countdown we weren't just aging they were a countdown and Here I am 57 and I was I would recognize that before these seasons of attack would start there would be if I could say this a preliminary season to where you could sense the presence of something trying to press in I don't know how to say it other than that some of these things are hard to articulate you know and a few months back I started sensing that movement and I recognized on one particular day there came out just that fiery darts that started and I began to think I wonder if this is the preliminary of that so I it was in the evening that this happened and I know this don't go to bed if you're not peaceful you don't go to sleep till you enter into peace because I had learned that and I learned how to yield to peace in the face of something that wasn't peaceful I learned how to draw on that piece and so when those preliminary attacks would on this particular day those fiery darts would strike I recognize and I mean a mental bombardment you know what I'm talking about and there is such a well how do you say there is such an enticement to turn those thoughts over in your mind that the thoughts that are to follow those that train of thought and I know don't you go there and I had to take charge of my mind - you're not going there you're not turning that over and no you're not no you're not and I'd start praising real loud and real bold and real aggressive why I'm gonna get louder and whenever that on that particular day that the fiery darts started coming I recognized on the inside something that in the past that had been there but I didn't know recognize what it was but on the inside something was trying to spring up but it wouldn't spring up unless I yielded to it so I had I had people in the home when that some of those fiery darts started coming so I wasn't in a position I wasn't probably in a private setting enough to yield to it so I didn't yield to it but I I could sense that anointing rising up rising up so when I was alone I started yielding to it and when I did it was that anointing that abides with him that drives that back so I yielded to it instead of yielding to the bombardment because if you what you pay attention to is what's going to get movement listen faith and peace and victory is all about what your attention is on so I I would yield to that anointing and I it would it would come up and it would I could sense it would drive back those bombarding thoughts you could sense that stand back and so I started to go off to sleep because I had gotten into a place of peace but I could sense it still just standing off what was it is a spirit coming and talking to you and so I woke up in the middle of night and that thing was back but I also I turned to my spirit I didn't turn to what I was hearing I turned to my spirit see where spirit people turn to your spirit it's not about what your mind is wanting to do what your spirit wanting to do so I turned to my spirit and I could again sense this bubbling up if I could say it that way the anointing trying to rise up but it had to be yielded to for it to get expression so I yielded to it and when I would yield to it and it would come out as weepings why did it come out as weepings because when you get in the anointing you'll weep when you get in the presence of God you'll weep and I recognize that's his presence that anointing within to drive that thing back why because when the enemy comes in like a flood the Lord will raise up a standard what is that standard the anointing in us the word in us and so I woke up in the middle of the night and I again since that bombardment trying to close back in so I turn to my spirit see I've learned don't turn to the mind don't turn to what is being attacked turn to where your help is your help is in your spirit so I look to my spirit and I could again sense that anointing within the anointing that abides within the unction within endeavoring to spring up and so I yielded to it and it stood back again and as soon as my eyes opened and I fell back off to sleep but as soon as my eyes opened the next morning there it was again and so I again turn to my spirit and I sensed that anointing so I yield it again to it and when I yielded to it I was weeping because I was in the presence of the Lord not because of what I'm facing but because when that anointing comes ah it's him amen so then it switched I was no longer weeping under the anointing I went into travail and I felt the switch in here and for a period of time not a really long period of time maybe 10 15 minutes I was weeping but this time it wasn't at his presence it was in travail and then these words came and I want to read them to you God said to me you have experienced prolonged seasons of tests in the past and you have been expecting another season like those Jesus only had one prolonged season of testing Luke 4:18 right 40 days 40 nights prolonged season but because he was skillful with the word during that time he never entered another season like that yes there were other tests he faced but because of his skill he knew how not to enter a prolonged season again just because and this is what God said to me just because there has been a pattern a prolonged seasons of tests in your past doesn't mean it has to be a pattern that repeats itself what was i travailing about it was the Spirit of God letting me know you've gonna have to correct some thinking because past tests taught you something and so you're expecting based on what those tests taught you instead of what the word teach he said you have gained the skill needed to not enter a season of testing like that again he told me that I know that why because I was demonstrating that that night the night before I was answering it I was telling that spirit to go I'd worship God and I knew how to yield to that anointing within see what was it I'd gained skill twelve years of face and test and I had finally learned all the steps what are all the steps the steps I gave the people that came up here number one answered specifically when the devil threatened you with something don't say oh the Lord loves me wrong answer he does love you but that's not the answer to a stay threat if the devil says I'm gonna steal your children your children aren't going to serve God you better not say all of the Lord loves me that's wrong answer it's true he loves you but that's not the answer for the threat whatever he threatens you with answer him specifically if you don't he will keep talking that's why people have they're just mentally harassed because they haven't answered him and told him to stop they it's not enough to say devil leave me alone you have to answer with the word it's the word in your mouth then you speak to the spirit talking to you get out your house is not his home your mind is not his home tell him to get out you are not a victim of anything he wants to do do to you anytime he wants to do it he's not your Lord and number three worship why it gets your attention off of what you were feeling and what you were hearing it gives you a new place to enter in those are it took me 12 years to learn this people 12 years how simple is that I'm gonna tell you it works every time and if you don't learn it you will end up getting your brains beat out I'm trying to tell a can I'm telling you in a few moments what it took me 12 years to learn I would go around talking to me what do I do and no one could give me steps give me steps I'm the type if you give me steps I take them but I don't know the steps make them clear make them concise what is that that puts handles on your victory give me the steps so I can pass this victory to your life these are the steps to take see people leave out things they hear dad Hagen's say you know how when the devil when he felt heart symptoms and he was in dad Goodwin's home and in the middle of night he was awakened with the symptoms and he pulled the covers up over his head and laughed so people will start laughing that's good to laugh but don't forget he answered them you can sit and laugh and laugh and laugh but if you don't answer that thing's gonna trouble you you laugh after you answer amen and so this is what God was referring to that morning when I woke up he said you have the skill to not go back in I say this how to say this because I don't want people to miss understand how I'm saying it and what I mean by it because it's not meant to disregard just because someone else is struggling I mean you have to just because someone else that you have great respect for that is maybe more spiritual than you you may still have skills they don't spiritually you may still walk in the light of some things that they're still learning you may have relatives that have walked with God lot longer than you but if you'll send no to the right teaching and be a doer of the word you can Excel real quick and God said to me you had the skill to not go back into that but because I had heard as we've all heard every 10 years there was a test and that was true that was a pattern but that doesn't mean it has to keep moving and I had that pattern in my own life but because and well let me just keep reading he said you have gained the skill needed to not enter a season of testing like that again but if you continue to think wrong then he told me what that wrong thinking was thinking that there has to be a repeat a prolonged seasons then you will have them because you will accept them when they come yes tests will come but if you will skillfully exercise the word the tests do not have to be prolonged but can be overcome in a moment now remember I said that night I didn't go to bed until I got that thing back off me but yet I could sense it still present in the middle of the night I woke up that things back again took those steps and it drove them back woke up the next morning there it was again I drove it back and I said and God said to me the reason it didn't leave is because you were still thinking wrong and let me tell you the devil shows seeds of wrong thought to see it and he'll come back later to see if there's a harvest on it and he said because you have in your thinking you took that thought that he offers that there has to be a repeat of tests he said that's why he was able to stay in the room to see if that was going to give him an entrance so when he said to me you had the skill to not enter into that again I corrected my thinking and then the thing left the room why because now it didn't have point of entrance wrong thinking as a place of entrance and that's what I was travailing over for that light to come that I needed you say how come it didn't happen before because it wasn't until I went through the test at 48 that I got all three of those steps down that I could articulate I saw very clearly the steps to be taken in very the exact same steps that Jesus took in the wilderness exact same steps praise the Lord I want to let me uh John chapter 14 verse 30 it only takes one wrong way of thinking for the enemy to have open access only takes one wrong thought John 14 verse 30 Jesus made the statement in the King James the last part of the verse for the prince of this world cometh he's going to come but notices and hath nothing in me what's he mean by that the devil said things to Jesus but he and let him in him I like the way the amplified says and he has no claim on me he has nothing in common with me there is nothing in me that belongs to him look at that there's nothing in me that belongs to him now see you're born again there's nothing in your spirit that belongs to the devil but is there something in your mind that belongs to him a wrong way of thinking that belongs to him that's why he was staying in the room for that night he knew I had a wrong way of thinking that there had to be a repeat and so he was watching to see if he could gain entrance through that wrong way of thinking but see when he tried to enter I'd word I'd take the steps to resist him he couldn't enter and he was staying around because the wrong thinking was still giving him an approach and if I didn't correct that thinking he'd keep coming back and keep coming back and I'd take those three steps it would keep working but we're not to be do it do it do it again do it again do it again do it again do it again just deal with why he's there what's he watchin for what's the open door he's looking for and God thankfully showed me he said it's because you're expecting it because you've heard for so long you saw it in your own life that there has to be a test he said there may come a test every 10 years but it does not have to be in something you enter into it may it will be offered but you can resist it and reject it and not enter it Jesus never went through another prolonged season amen praise the Lord and then as I was travailing in prayer after he God said that to me he went on to quote to me Colossians chapter 1 verse 13 which reads you have been delivered from the Kingdom of what remember that word you've been delivered it's already accomplished fact from the kingdom of darkness everything that comes out of Satan's Kingdom is dark everything anything that seems dark in your life reject it resistant it's not out of your kingdom you have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness and translated in to we're not just out we're in we're in and have been translated into the kingdom of his dear son God quoted that verse to me in this experience then he said to me you are in the kingdom of light then he said this no more darkness that's what you need to sell my life no more darkness no more darkness why you're not in that Kingdom anymore why then is darkness able to get in wrong thinking unrenewed mind wrong thoughts taking wrong thoughts just because your name recognize are wrong anymore he said you are in the kingdom of light no more darkness you don't have to have another prolonged season of testing where fear steals another moment another hour another day another week another month 12 years fear took from me that Hagen talked about how was it seven years fear dogged him after he's raised up off his deathbed because the the fear that he once again become paralyzed and getting back on his deathbed and then he said then then like King he was reading sister Lillian by omens but he got out of the bed and danced all around the room why because he realized no more darkness no more darkness no more dark fairies darkness anxiety is darkness panic attacks darkness depression darkness all of its darkness symptoms darkness pain darkness lack darkness torment darkness no more that's not your king them but the thing is we have been so practiced at feeling darkness having thoughts that follow what darkness suggests before we were born again we were practiced at working with darkness now it's our great privilege to practice work in the light so he said not another moment not another day not another week not another month not another year of your life in darkness and then again he said this but if you think wrong you will open the door to that darkness wrong thinking is darkness that's what he said to me wrong thinking is darkness but you are in the light then he told me stay in the light by thinking thoughts that are of the light speaking words that are of the light taking actions that are of the light praise the Lord you know what that means we have to pay attention to what we're allowing in our thought life bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ I mean if this done thrill you it's because you haven't been tested very bad because I'm telling you this thrills me one of the things God said about himself he said I'm the husband to the widow he knew that his wife me was opening the door to something through thinking wrong and he was helping you before I reached 58 don't don't don't go there he has a whole nother level of obligation to me now yeah if you have our earthly husband the father ain't your husband he's the husband to the widow if you have a husband God's gonna help you through your husband I'm gonna be a help but so he had to show up personally for me that day and help me amen why cuz I'm not alone I want to go to Colossians chapter 1 Colossians chapter 1 in verse 12 because I want us to see it for ourselves Colossians 1 verse 12 and I'm going to read it out amplified now see what what I'm talking to us tonight about is learn to flow with light not darkness learn to recognize what is not liked pay attention just because you've always operated that way doesn't mean you need to be operating that way just because you've always struggled with something a particular thing doesn't mean you need to keep struggling with it it's all on how you think Jake it's all in how you think Colossians 1:12 helps us think right 12 and 13 the amplified says giving thanks to the Father who has qualified and made us fit or able to share the portion which is the inheritance of the Saints God's holy people in the light what is our portion the father has delivered us and drawn us to himself out of the control and the Dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the son of his love how do you begin to experience this in everyday life verse 12 first phrase tells you how giving thanks to the Father what is it what do I mean by it thank you Father that I have already been delivered from the kingdom of darkness translated into the kingdom of his of your dear son thank you Father thank you that's true thank you father giving thanks for the father that's how its activated in your life John chapter 1 verses 4 & 5 turn with me John chapter 1 verses 4 & 5 now see since we are no longer children of Darkness we're children of light right we need to pay attention what the word says about light because that's us John chapter 1 verses 4 & 5 in him was life and the life was the light of men and the light shines in darkness I love this phrase and the darkness comprehended it not darkness cannot ever put out light never it can never comprehend it it can never overpower it it can never overcome it it's light that puts out darkness I'll just read this to you Matthew 5:14 Jesus said you are the light notices of the world what's that mean you're the light of the world that means we are the avenues that light comes into the earth through when God is wanting to bless people he's got to I'm talking about a lost humanity he sends light and we are the light he says you are the light so we are the entrance place we are the avenue that God sins help through and darkness can't comprehend darkness can't overpower it darkness can never overcome it Ephesians 5 verse 8 says for you were sometimes darkness but now but now but now remember how brother Copeland started Friday night faith is now healing is now prosperity is now freedom from habits or now freedom from addiction is now why that's darkness for you were sometimes darkness but now are you light then say you have like you are light in the Lord now walk as children of light it's not enough to be like you got to walk this way walk it walk it what's it mean when it says walk if this is your manner of living this is your this is your manner of life of how you're conducting life even though we are light we have to walk that way or we will not experience all that belongs to us in the light I want us to to walk as children of light remember dad Hagen used to make this statement it's dangerous to come up to light and not walk in it in other words it's dangerous to know what the word says and decide you're not going to conduct your life by it it ain't it's not just recommended it's dangerous to not do it first Peter 2:24 let's go there we read this as a healing passage which it is but I want us to see something about as children of life we belong to a kingdom of light it's our kingdom that's where we fit we don't fit darkness anymore first Peter 2:24 who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree that we being dead to sins should live unto righteousness by whose stripes you were healed in other words the reason we say by His stripes we were healed because he dealt with the sin problem which is what opened up sickness to us so since the sin problems have been dealt with the cause of sickness has been dealt with now you can you can live as the healed you are because the root of this thing was dealt with but this is what I want you to see about walking as children of light let's read it again who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree that we being dead to sins look at the next phrase should live should live should live unto righteousness there's a way we should live so that healing can flow so that light can flow to live unrighteous to live not cleans going where you shouldn't go doing what you shouldn't do being where you shouldn't be you're not going to you're not going to be lit enjoying the light because there's a way we should live and he said it's children of light walk it's children of light walking in the light means walking in your righteousness live right be right do right amen first Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 5 says this you are all the children of light and the children of the day we are not of the night nor of darkness we have to declare when darkness shows up say that's not mine that's not mine can I tell you it says Jesus himself took our infirmities right and bore our sicknesses since he took ours when it shows up we know it's not ours cuz he took ours when darkness shows up we're not darkness so we know that darkness hidden ours every ten years we know that pattern test is not ours because it's not a delight howl ooh you know what kingdom you belong to no no your kingdom becomes skilful in working with your kingdom don't be a double agent in the kingdom belonging to one kingdom of working for another that's what a double agent is in time of war they belong to one country yet they begin working for another country so many Christians are living as double agents they belong to one kingdom and working with the other one amen well praise the Lord the enemy can draw you in if you're not careful not even realizing what you're doing it's called slipping into the natural hallelujah Luke 11 verse 34 the amplified says this your eye is the lamp of your body even your eye the amplified says your conscience is sound and fulfilling its office your whole body is full of light but when it is not sound and is not fulfilling its office your body's full of darkness be careful therefore that the light that is in you is not darkness don't think that you're thinking right when you're thinking wrong that you're doing right when you're doing wrong don't confuse what's lot and what's darkness be careful therefore that the light that is in you is not darkness if then your entire body is illuminated I like this next phrase having no part dark no part dark no part of your finances dark no part of your health dark no part of your marriage dark no part of your business dark no part of your home dark no part of your children dark we belong to the light don't put up with what's not light John chapter 8 verse 12 says this then spake Jesus again unto them saying I am the light of the world he that follows me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of Life if we're going to enjoy the light the kingdom of light that we belong to we have to do what he's what he does we have to follow him that means you have to follow his plan your plan isn't light his plan is light his will for your life is light not true a will for here not what you formulated what he planned he's the author of life amen Romans 13 verse 12 and 14 so I'm just going to read verses 12 and 14 romans 13 verses 12 and 14 the day is far spent excuse me the night is far spent the day is at hand let us therefore cast off the works of darkness and let us put on the armor of light but put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh that's how you put off darkness right there he told you how don't make provision don't don't respond to it don't yield to it says the word says in Romans that sin shall not have dominion over you Amen don't yield your bodily members don't yield to it that's how you shut the door - darkness quit yielding to it quit responding to it respond to the light amen and then I notice this we have to put off those learned works of darkness we learned him we learned how to how to talk about lack around the dinner table we learned how to worry we learned how to be critical of people we learned how to be rebellious and bullheaded and we learned all that you better put that off put that off why this darkness and then this last verse we'll read 1st John chapter 2 verses 8 and 9 again a new commandment I write unto you which thing is true in him and in you don't you like that it's true in him and it's true in you because the dot I like this the darkness is past and the true light now shines couldn't we say this we could put in there the word that represents darkness when it says because the darkness has passed we could say this the pain is past anything that's out of darkness it's passed that's what you have to say the lack has passed that's the past not not my future not my present it's in the past depression is past fear is past it's past when you talk like that you are walking in the light and you are going to maneuver your life into a whole new flow Amen well praise the Lord we have to be skillful in our kingdom skillful in our kingdom of light and recognizing what is not of the light and taking our stand against it and quit waiting for somebody to pull us in to victory my husband said by the Spirit of God and other ministers this last day revival will be all previous revivals wrapped up into one said that all nine manifestations of the Spirit will be operating at full potential power also said that all fivefold offices would be operating at their full potential power you can't be walking in darkness and handled that kind of power can't be thinking wrong and handle that kind of power greater power calls for greater light amen pay attention to what you allow in your conversation what you allow in your thought life quit being Moody quit being touchy quit being a baby quit being a thumbsucker write all these things that keep us carnal and keep us natural quit quit catering to your culture well you know we're all just a hot-headed people and the scripture for that is that's darkness get in the light well we don't really mean it we just fuss you know it's just part of our culture get out of the darkness get out of the darkness get in the light because it will rob you from being able to move in this full measure flow that God plans for this last day revival we're gonna have to quit being permissive toward ourselves amen you know what Paul said he said I'm a buff at my body I handle myself roughly too many of us are petting ourselves well you know I've gone through a lot so what who hasn't get in line don't don't without handing out brownie buttons for somebody who's gone through a lot and people use how somebody treated them years ago for remaining the way they are that might be the reason you've gone through stuff but don't make it your Excuse no more excuses we are in a whole new Kingdom I said we are in a whole new kingdom no more victim stuff no more emotional manipulation that's darkness darkness amen call it for what it is I said call it for what it is because God offers us so much in the light amen the devil loves wrong thinking it's his wide open door let's not just shut the door let's slam it because if you don't slam it it could be a crack bit open have you ever just gently pushed something you better quit being gentle with your wrong thinking you better slam that thing I'm not gonna act like that anymore husbands and wives say point out when I'm doing that oh my god and I'm not telling my wife or my husband that no they'll help you slam it shut if you don't be touchy but if you're on about guarding your feelings amen listen we're gonna have to grow up if we want to handle full measure power full measure power is not it's not going to be handled by touch you people can't do it can't do it we need to deal with ourselves deal with ourselves because if we don't the devil will amen well praise the Lord praise the Lord the Lord is good pay attention pay attention to things you've been okay with because I mean it's amazing how you can preach something and people will walk right out in the foyer and say the exact same thing they used to say before they came in and it didn't alter their speech it didn't alter the things they say it didn't alter the way they they're handling their marriage or their business didn't alter anything let's let's catch ourselves amen we are children I walk in the light walk in the light it's dangerous as dad Hagin said to come up tonight not walk in it because do you right now not trying to get it not trying to get it not trying to get it you remember how when dad Hagin had those heart symptoms in the middle of the night pulled the covers up over his head and dad Goodwin's home and started laughing at him and answered those you remember that and the devil said to him what are you laughing out he said I'm laughing at you he said why are you laughing at me he said because you said this is one time I'm not gonna get my healing the devil said that's right this is one time you're not going to get your healing he said devil what do I need to get my healing for he said Jesus already got it for me see the devil using word games then will use word games to hold you in darkness thinking you're got to get healing thinking you've got to get freedom you are free you are in the light you are children of light you don't have to get delivered people you have already been delivered from the kingdom of darkness and anything that belongs to that Kingdom you're delivered from and you say well why isn't it functioning because you haven't given thanks to the Father for it yet you're still trying to get something and that wrong thinking keeps that thing trapped in your life I'm already delivered I'm already delivered I'm already I'm already delivered now we're gonna have we're gonna have to bear down on the truth of this quit being okay with what we've been permissive toward in every arena of our lives amen why because God's preparing us for full measure power full measure power we can't be playing games amen hallelujah I'm in I'm in I'm in the light my health is in the light my peace is in the right I'm in the light hallelujah no more darkness that's what God said to me that morning he said no more darkness no more darkness you decide no more darkness in my life I'm done no more dark no more conversations around darkness change you change your dinner conversation change your conversation about your relatives change your I was in Merced and I was in the hotel room praying one day and God said to me there are revelations that belong to this era but you must labor in prayer to receive them it's not about getting God to give them it's about us positioning ourselves so we can receive and he said you must labor in prayer to receive those that morning when I was travailing God said to me this is one of the revelations that belong to this era they must the body must become skillful in the Kin operating and cooperating with the kingdom of light and forbidding darkness in their lives amen and he said this is one of those revelations that belong to this era that means we're gonna have to emphasize it that means we're going to have to become skillful at recognizing what isn't light and forbidding it amen hallelujah we thank you Father we thank you the Holy Spirit helping us helping us to see this more clearly that he gives unto us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him the eyes of our understanding or the eyes of our spirit being what enlightened that we may know what is the hope of his calling what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the Saints and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us we're who believe that our eyes see this amen because if our eyes are full of light the whole body full of light if our eyes are dark we don't see it then explained to the congregation what had been transpiring and he said he said while I was speaking in tongues God said something to me he said my mind does not understand what he said but he said so I told him I receive it into my spirit see when your sieving in your spirit it will illuminate your mind it'll it'll enlighten you but he said so by faith I received it into my spirit I I have I've tried to preach this sermon I think two other times and I've never ever felt like I've ever gotten the articulation of what he's wanting us to see about there were children of life and walk in the light the broadness of that but I believe he's going to help us see that in our we even though we're not able to articulate our our spirits can lay hold up our spirits lay hold of it and then our
