well turn with me if you would in your Bibles tonight Romans chapter 4 Romans chapter 4 years ago before we got into this building we were in our previous building and my husband told the vision he had had as he was an usher in his local church that he served in as a young believer and they were standing the ushers were standing together holding the communion elements and getting ready to distribute that to the congregation and while my husband was up there with the rest of the ushers doing his part and holding the elements he said to God he says God I don't even really understand what communion is all about and when he said that the roof of that building seemingly lifted off and he had a vision and he saw Jesus hanging on a cross he said it looked just like in the Catholic Church the emblems the the portrayal of that and he said and as Jesus was hanging there he said I saw words began to fly through the air and he said those words would strike his body and his whole body would jolt every time a word would strike him and at first he was able to read the words they were words of sickness and disease that were being allayed on him and and my husband said they came slow at first and then they got faster and faster he said they were coming so fast I couldn't even read them and he said in Jesus before my eyes became such that I did you couldn't even tell he was a man anymore he was so marred by what was laid on him and he was telling that that not what he saw and he finished up that telling by saying that's how God taught me about divine healing we went home that night and I was downstairs and after a few hours I came upstairs and he was laying in bed and he said come we're in lay your hand on me he said I'm sick and so I did and then I walked out of the room and then he had a talk with God and he said God he said where did I open the door and God spoke to him and said tonight you told the people the vision and then you told him that's how God taught me about healing and he said I didn't show you that vision to simply teach you about healing I showed you that vision to tell others and he said but because you treat it like it was yours you're not telling it as you want and that opened the door what was it disobedience to tell it so all of those who were connected with dad Hagin and called him our spiritual father those who call my husband their spiritual father and called him dad we are stewards of something we're stewards of the revelations we're stewards of the visions that we're told because although these were their experiences they had those experiences for our benefit so I treat them as personal dad Hagen's book I believe in visions you need to get hold of it and you need to be acquainted with it and not treat it as it's no longer pertinent because the man isn't here it's not about the man it's about the revelation that came through the man and many that have let go of the revelations have have I believed I believe have missed the Markinson things because they've not properly stewarded the revelations that God has brought to us so I would I would encourage all of us who called that Hagin our spiritual father ed our spiritual father that we go back and we make sure that we are not letting slip the revelations and the things that were shown because we need them for this last day revival we need those so I tell them where I go I tell dad Hagen's visions and I know some people I thought I talked about him too much but you know I talk about my parents because they were part of my well even so dad Hagen was a huge part of my life and I'm not gonna go silent about it I'm not going to dishonor what was put in me through the men that God's put in my life and and even so about my husband so I have no qualms about getting up and telling word per word their testimony their experience because I'm a steward of what I received and some of us need to be mindful to be proper stewards if we're not properly handling the revelations that have been giving us why what room do we have for more amen praise the Lord so whoever has been your spiritual father you need to draw back those things to the forefront of your life and not let him go well that was their story so what their story is my story I mean Paul said my gospel he made it personal and those were visions and experiences that might the men of God that God sent to my life had in my behalf amen so I encourage you don't let things slip because you're going to need them we need those things for this last day era I was I was playing something for our congregation the last I was playing clips of the last service that my husband preached here I remember that service very specifically because he got up that morning we had advertised that he was going to be ministering that Sunday because he really didn't minister here often he was gone so much and so he said I want you to let people know when I'm going to be coming so he gave us a dates and we had advertised that well he had been going so much and he was physically exhausted and he got up that Sunday morning that he was scheduled to minister here and he said you're going to have to preach for me this morning I'm too tired to preach and I said I said no sir I'm not you've told the people and they've been wait and I said the Holy Ghost will quicken you when you get there and you know it so I said I'll pray for you but you're going to do it and I'm so glad because that was the last service he preached here and so we put we pulled portions and excerpts from that sermon and we played it for our congregation and one of the things that he said he said there is now certain doctrines on the scene that have come to destroy the faith message that has been put in the body of Christ for this last if during this last word of faith so to speak move of God and he said these these doctrines that have come to the forefront is to try to steal faith out of the church because jesus said when I come back will I find faith faith must be it is a last day emphasis and these are things that will help keep us to our course when somebody else offers us something popular but isn't the movement of what God is emphasizing or it's a misapplication of certain truths and so we need to make sure we're not letting go of things that were put in us by our spiritual fathers we need them the passage over in Isaiah and I can't quote it exactly but it's something like this that remember he'll cause you to ride on the high places of the earth because brother Copeland quoted that so much and believe in God for his airplane and that's certainly appropriate I'd do it now and then it says after that I will feed you with the heritage of your father our lives are still fed by the revelations that came through our spiritual fathers and if you neglect your heritage you neglect your feeding you're going to let go of some things that the heritage only heritage can give you people alive there are certain things they can't give you Kazaam gone far enough but some of these who have finished run their race and finished their course they are our heritage and what they brought was a heritage to us and we know the outcome what they brought to know it to be truth and so therefore we saw their their example in their experience in it therefore we are we can boldly take it and say that's the way I live Amen well praise the Lord don't get so occupied with people that are thank God for people that are little that are living that God has brought to the forefront but I tell you what their safety and those how that we know that we're walking with God and the outcome and the fruit of their lives and the fruit of their ministry we don't let that go just to hold on to something that's being offered us now we got we take it and we go further amen and in all in all truthfulness if you're hooked on with the right thing that God is doing this hour he won't encourage you to let go of what was put in you and anything that diminishes what was done by men of God in the past is Error I'm talking about when these men of God brought truths and revelations to the forefront they were used of God and somebody gets up and diminishes that they're in error and they're not safe and I'm going to say I'm going to stay with my heritage [Music] amen didn't mean to say all that but there you have it so I take these things that happen to Eddie and I and I rehearse them and I repeat them you'll you'll remember how he told the testimony of how two angels showed up in his hotel room and he was at the point of within months looking to be a looking that they were going to lose their church the church building and they needed a large sum of money and two angels showed up and said we've been sent from the throne room of heaven to straighten out your finances and in doing that within just a few months not only the large sum they needed for the building but also came the entire cash amount needed to pay off the building those angels went and got that money and brought it in well about six months before aid went home to be with the Lord God spoke to him and said if you will talk more about those angels they'll do more that because when you talk about him it gives them permission so I pay attention he's not here to talk about him but I am and I want more of what they did in the past that's why we don't let go of these visions and these experiences because what we need is connected to them to us knowing them and telling him and walking in the light of what these visions showed one of the visions that we talked about dad Hagin of course it's recorded in the book I believe in visions and it's in the chapter called the hospital visitor one of my favorite experiences that dad Hagen told about and dad Hagen had fallen and injured his arm and so as a young minister and so they had to put the muscles and everything back into place and so they kept him in the hospital for a few days to observe him and while one of the days he was in there he heard footsteps coming down the corridor of the hospital and the door opened he thought it would be a nurse coming in and he looked up and Jesus came in pulled up a chair and sat next to his hospital bed and talked to him for an hour and a half he told him why this had happened this accident and I want to just bring out one particular portion of that tonight and then we'll go on from there that Jesus made this statement - dad Hagen because he just had this accident and Jesus said to him it's my will that none of my children ever be sick be operated on or have accidents then he went on to say but very few ever walk in my best because number one he listed most of my children don't know what belongs to them then he said number two reason why they get sick or are operated on or have accidents he said is because even if they do know what belongs to him they don't have enough faith to receive it and then he said number three then he said to dad Hagen is the reason you're in the hospital he said because of disobedience so he said those are the three primary reasons why his children do not live out his best now the first one when it says most don't know what belongs to them this portion can be only fulfilled through your local church you got to get in a local church to find out what belongs to you you can't just randomly jump from meeting to meeting and think you're going to find out what belongs to you it's your pastor that teaches you day by day week by week what belongs to you so when people don't know what belongs to them they're liking a pastor or they're lacking a pastor that knows the word and walks in the light of the word so always make sure that the church you're a part of is teaching you what belongs to you amen and then the third thing because the third thing here disobedience well we can correct that right now I mean in a moment if there's anything you know you've been resisting God in struggling against our not agreeing with in a moment you can just say I agree right now because I don't want any disobedience because I can't receive your best if I'm in disobedience but the second one is what I want to talk to us about tonight and that is even if they do know what belongs to them they don't have enough faith to receive it so I want to address along those lines tonight hallelujah we know this that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God yesterday's faith came by yesterday's hearing but today's faith comes by today's hearing and too many times we miss it when we're trying to have todays faith off of yesterday's hearing yes we can have our faith added to and we build upon that every day but we have to be putting in the word oh we have to have an it continual intake so that our faith is ready hallelujah so are you are you there with me in Romans chapter 4 verse 17 there's a lot of things that we could preach out of this passage but I'm going to just hone in on one thing that I want to emphasize tonight Romans chapter 4 verse 17 says as it is written I have made thee a father of many nations so he was speaking to Abraham well Abraham was childless God said I have made thee a father of many nations before him whom he believed even God who quickeneth the dead and calleth those things which be not as though they were this is the definition of faith faith calls those things which be not as though they were it doesn't call those things that be as though they're not let me explain that years ago I was staying with somebody a minister a minister's family and I was visiting with them and she had had some ongoing physical challenges and we had talked about it on this particular visit the next time I went out about a year later and I said how are you doing and I was talking to her referring that physical situation she said I'm what you're talking about and I said well I know what I'm talking about why don't you know what you're talking about she said no I don't have that I don't know what you're talking about yeah that's it's not calling those things that be as though they're not it's calling those things that be not as though they are if healing is not called it healed but don't act like something is not there that needs to be dealt with and call that faith you get that mixed up and act like that's not something that is needing to be addressed and you're going to call it faith and the devil get it have a high time with you but faith the definition of faith that caused those things which be not as though they were so that being the definition of faith we could put that definition in when we see the word faith the just shall live by faith so let's put the definition in the just shall live by calling those things which be not as though they were without faith it's impossible to please God without calling those things which be not as though they were it's impossible to please God amen so whenever you see the word faith you can put the definition in and know that that's what we were to do weird to be doing so it says about Abraham that he called those things which be not as though they were that's what God was doing he said I have mathé he was calling those things which be not as though they were I have made thee a father of many nations he called those things which be not as though they were who against hope believed in hope look at the next phrase that he might become the father of many nations now notice is God said I have made you to be that and then it says what Abraham did that he might become what does that mean God made us to be something it's our job to become it he's made us to heal it's our job to become the healed what do I mean by that by us doing what the words prescribes for us we become what we're made to be you go I don't understand that sure you do a child is born with all kinds of talents and abilities or graces whatever whatever name you want to call them they're born with these inborn things you can have somebody who is born with the ability to sing but if they don't study and they don't practice and they don't get under somebody that can teach them they will never become what was born in them to be or they can only become that limitedly so just as as natural abilities can be neglected spiritual graces and spiritual inheritance can be neglected and we not ever become what he already made us to be every Christian has been made to be we have already been made rich now it's our job they become it too that it began to show up in our life not to earn it but to agree with it and take steps in line with who we are made to be I'm not made to be broke he didn't make us to be sick but why why are Christians broken why are they sick they're not become they are not becoming who they're made to be they're putting up with things that they're not made to be not made to be depressed not made to be tormented not made to be fearful not made to won't get on an aircraft er won't won't won't won't stay at the house and by myself at the in the dark I made that way now it's my job to become what I see in the word he made me to be listen Jesus had to become what he was made to be he didn't just sit at home and say I'm the son of God therefore everything's gonna be dumped on me he knew as a child at 12 years old they found him in the temple learning so he could become what he was made to be Jesus became what he was made to be the same way we do he found himself in the word he had to find himself in the word and become what he saw himself to be in the word amen when it says no doubt he read and said in Isaiah what was laid on him and no doubt he would have said father who's he talking about he's talking about you son he had to find himself and become that find yourself in the word become it your job to become and how you gonna become it you call you call those things that haven't showed up till me show up [Music] amen that's what Abraham did who against hope believed in hope that he might become the father of many nations our become what he was made to be according to that which was spoken not according to that which was felt not according to that which was figured out not according to that which was calculated by the mind but according to what was spoken you've heard me tell the story but it's worth telling again because Stephens on the front row I might as well tell it God gave them a home and worked in very unique ways to get them in the home because they didn't have the downpayment they now have a million-dollar home and did not pay a down payment because and and the people that worked with them said we've never seen that in our life all the things that were worked but it was a journey and they had to use their faith and so at one point what they did they began by getting a lease option that they leased it for a while for a year with the option to purchase it and so the people that were going to sell it to them decided they weren't going to sell it they changed their mind and we're going to back out on the sale and then not only that they still didn't have all the funding in place and so it looked like it wasn't going to happen so Stephen we were to lunch Stephen and I don't know member of Grant was there but we were there and at lunch and steam was talking about it he says mom he says I've got to start moving and packing up the house by Friday because I've got to get out on the prescribed time and I said why are you packing up now he said well I've got to get out by next week I said a week my gosh so much time well mom we don't have financing and they're wanting the house back they're wanting us out of the house and I said I only took God six days to create the universe you know what he can do in a week we were going back and forth and he said mom I'm gonna keep my word I gave that man my word if I don't have funding I'm gonna get out and I'm gonna get out on time because I'm gonna keep my word and I said that sounds good but what about keeping God's word I said what did he said I got to get out I said you're trying to figure out what's going to happen in the next seven days to get you in that house I said you're trying to answer the wrong questions you'd have to answer one question what did God say is this your house or not that's the only question you believe according to what's spoken what was spoken go back to what was spoken what did God say did God say that this is your house he said yes I said questions answered we're not packing we're not gonna fail weak God said it his job to have make it happen his job if he wasn't gonna make it happen he shouldn't have said it now but you better hold to what he said if the devil can get you off what he said he'd steal from you what God said and that's all faith is your only what God said that's all faith God said this that's it and when we get into doubt and unbelief is when we're trying to answer their own questions where's the money gonna come from wrong question how is he going to do it wrong question when's it going to get here wrong question what God say that's the question tip this means you don't move - you know what God said where people miss it is they get out and move and they don't know what God said this I'm careful I don't move till I know what God said because one day I'm gonna have to say what God said when circumstances don't look right and let me tell you what when God says something that evel's going to make sure circumstances don't look right make sure of it what we're going to do is what God say go back to what God said well I've never seen you I've never seen God God's never given me that kind of a kind of money of Lord you ain't trying to answer the wrong point what did God say he believed according to what was spoken God made it easy just know what I say then shut up quit asking questions when you ask questions you're in the middle arena when you ask questions you're in the wrong arena there's no questions in gaad's arena only answers the throne knows no questions has no questions it's all answers all answers when you start asking questions you're not at the throne any more than you thought life amen where is the money gonna come from how long how comes takes it all none of your business your business is to know what God said and hold to it and when everything gets out of place you see this is what God said don't I'm not gonna make up something different I'm just gonna hold to what he said God doesn't often dock and God does not authorize me to formulate something different to say and because they kept holding and holding and holding today they're in their owners of a million dollar house and bypassed bypass a down payment in California [Music] [Applause] for faith to work it requires the leading of the Spirit you better know what God said because when you're walking with God the only way to the finish is saying what God said and if you don't know what God said about your situation particularly you may not make it to the finish you wanted praise the Lord but I got to tell this off on Stephen because I like telling it bere who is happier this look this little guy you could tell it when he was born he was born with a fuse about that long I mean he would go from 0 to 60 year I mean he just you could tell he just had a short fuse so they started working on that when he was really young now now his few the fuses lengthened quite a lot but they put something in place that you could see him I mean if hit something didn't go his way his face would just instantly change and you could see him you know bulla so when he'd do that he had to raise his hands smile and dance so we're sitting at that lunch table and Stephens struggling which you can understand we've all been there and so I it was doing something unusual here it was raining and I said to Stephen at lunch table I said what do you do with bear when his face isn't right he said he has to raise his hand smile and jump up and down I said you're not getting in my car until you have raised your hands smiling densed around my car you're not getting in we have no room for doubt in this transaction no room no room no room and I'll add my faith to you but I'm not doing your believing for you and they didn't ask me do they believe it because I'm not raising spiritual cripples you can learn to believe God and they have learned to believe God and we're all learning we're all learning so maybe you need to put in place the raising of the hands are smiling of the face and the dancing around your desk your office whatever it's trying to talk to you victory as easy as is as easy as this what did God say and don't veer off that say it in the face of every circumstance say it in the face of everything that looks contradictory to it abraham believed according to what was spoken you can't believe if you don't know it's spoken so shall thy seed be and being not weak in faith now I haven't gotten to my point yet this is we haven't gotten to the sermon really but this is what I wanted to focus on because this is where so many of us get tripped up and being not weak in faith he considered not his own body now dead when he was about a hundred years old neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief but was strong in faith giving glory to and being fully persuaded that what he had promised he was able also to perform you say when will my answer show up when you're fully persuaded partial persuasion doesn't receive its miracle fully persuaded how do you get fully persuaded get full of the word get full of the spirit get full of the word get full of the spirit then you're in the position to be fully persuaded amen verse 19 again in being not weak in faith look at these words he considered not his own body that was now dead how does someone weaken their faith they consider what they ought not consider if you touch in your thought life what you ought not touch you'll weaken your face when your attention goes to and stays on the wrong thing it will undermine your faith to keep your faith strong it matters what your attention is on your faith goes where your attention goes and I tell I tell you it takes discipline to not let your mind just run anywhere it wants to run good your imagination go anywhere it wants to go you have to discipline yourself you have to pay attention to your thought life because if you let your mind just wallow around in any old kind of thought that comes up and you play out scenarios in your head you'll rob yourself of your miracles and no devil did it praise the Lord Abraham protected his faith by keeping his attention off the wrong thing when it says casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ that is simply the spirit man dominating the mental arena that's what that is you better we have to stay out of that mental arena because the mind wants to have all these questions because the mind has questions you better silence those questions with what God said about it the devil wants you in the mental arena what's the Mill arena the thinking arena i pastored for 25 years I can see that I can see the face on people's faces when they're in the thinking arena and see it you can see it you're in the wrong arena until you can get people out of the thinking arena that mental arena people many times have learned to answer the right thing but their mind is still unguarded that's why it doesn't work you're not fully persuaded you have to bring that mind into full subjection so Abraham protected the strength of his faith by keeping his attention off the wrong thing many times people don't have their healing just because of that he considered not his own body he told his body told him something you're dead you can't produce this but he just didn't focus on that what did he do he focused on what God said I have made thee the father of many nations it's not even fate and then listen to this it's not even faith to believe you're healed because your body shows health that's not faith to believe you're healed because your body everything's in place if you're believing that you're healed but on the basis that everything's working right in your body you're not you're off the word you're healed for one reason one reason only because the word says it because as pastor Anderson was talking about the body tries to fluctuate and if you're you're calling yourself healed just because everything in your body is working as you ought your you're getting ready for you're getting ready for a problem ahead because you not yet learned that you're not healed because your body's acting right you're healed because the word says you're healed that way if the body fluctuates what you believe doesn't change because what the word doesn't change if you believe you're healed because your body feels healed what are you going to do when it doesn't feel healed what you're going to do that's why we're not healed based on our body were healed based on what God says and we are to believe according to what was spoken and not according to what we feel there was a woman who told her testimony years ago she had been diagnosed that they'd found a lump in her breast so they wanted to do an ultrasound on her so they scheduled another appointment with her she went in for her appointment and they laid her on the examining bed and they they ran that equipment over the portion of her breast where they said that lump was and that equipment had a screen on it too where the doctor is looking at that screen and he can visibly see that lump on the screen and so he turns the screen around to her to where she can see it and he says no see he pointed to it and said see this lump this is the point of concern for us is this lump and when she saw it on the screen she said to herself she said God if only hadn't seen it because it made it so real to her when she saw it and as she was laying there the Spirit of God said to her is what you see greater than what I say I think of that is what you see greater than what I say and she caught herself she said no Father forgive me your word says I'm healed what I see is not greater than what you say you say I'm healed I say I'm healed and she said when she said that all of a sudden on that screen the doctor saw it the nurse saw it everybody saw it there came a circle of life that went the whole perimeter that's she said it showed up and she said that circle light began to move in and move in and move in and move in and move in and move in and it closed in on that lunch and then it was gone God let her have that testimony for them why because she decided to do what God said was greater than what she was singing Amen don't believe anything more than you believe what he says you sit around the dinner table and talk about how we're struggling over money you know we just came out of Christmas oh my gosh and we're behind on this don't believe anything more than you believe what God says listen just as easy to sit around and say you know what God takes care of all of our needs it doesn't take any more effort to say that than to say I don't know what I'm gonna do people are in the habit of talking what they see instead of in the habit of talking what he says if symptoms come up we're still to believe we're healed not because the body is fluctuating but because the word never fluctuates and I can stand on that unchanging word and my body must change if you believe you're not healed because symptoms come you're believing your body more than you believe in his word then I've heard through the years and many have heard this and you need to double check that you don't do this if you've done it in the past people would say pastor but I'm getting ready to go the doctor believe with me I have a good report missed it missed the whole thing you already have a good report you already have the good report if you go in there waiting for the doctor to give you the good report what you gonna do if you don't get here that good report out of his mouth what what you gonna do next whenever you're saying believe with me that I'll get a good report you're already showing you're off the word you're believing the report that the doctor is going to give you you're already you're already ready to set your faith there hallelujah what it say about Abraham he didn't even he said he considered not what his own body that means he didn't put his attention there he did not lay in bed and try to figure out how is this going to happen he did not let his mind touch into that but it all only said that it said and he considered not the body of his wife Sarah either if you start touching into someone else's experience and you start seeing what somebody else went through to determine what you can receive if somebody dies prematurely well they believe God don't you touch that in your thought life you don't know what went on between them and Edmond between them and and God you don't know what God's been dealing with him about for years that they never said to anything you don't know oh you know is what God said about it amen don't touch into your thought life he did not even entertain what Sarah can't have a child he didn't touch into that if you're gonna have strong faith and you're gonna receive what you need from God you better get your thought life off other people's failures well that you know they pray more than me and they didn't receive what's that got to do with anything what's that got to do with anything let me ask you this have you ever sat down to pay your bills maybe you pay your bills every Friday and you have more than enough of money in your account to pay your bills and all of a sudden you remember oh wait a minute the family two doors down they're in bankruptcy they're losing their house they can't pay their bills well maybe I can't pay mine yeah and that's stupid but yet people do that regarding heating they look at somebody else's body that didn't receive and they say well maybe I that's not even reasonable didn't even make good sense praise the Lord if you're going to have strong faith you cannot consider other people's situations dad Hagin made this statement regarding these words that consider not he said these are blessed words they are an unfailing refuge what's a refuge is a hiding place they are an unfailing refuge from the fiery darts heavenly they are a heavenly atmosphere where no germ or disease can survive for the fraction of a second to consider not do not accord to the physical symptoms a passing thought refused to take them into your calculations if you consider your own body paying attention to the symptoms that's why they persist as long as you consider them they will persist I could say this consider not it's the place where we remove ourselves from what is seen and felt and until you remove yourself remember they've been preaching and some of these services about of course in mark 11 with the Figtree Jesus walked up because the fig tree was portraying itself as to having fruit on it because the leaves were there so it was portraying something it wasn't producing no that's a dangerous position of being him so he walked up to it because it was lying so to speak and he said no man eat fruit of the hereafter and then you know what he did he turned around and walked off he didn't stand there to see it work did the pain leave did the mental harassment stop when I resisted it when I told it to stop when I answered to the word did it change you pause for a second to see if the word work and you fail because you're considering the wrong thing people will pray then pause check did it work Jesus spoke to it turned around walked off continued on his journey when you're considering not you're not stopping at difficulties you talk to it and then you'll carry on life as usual people that consider the wrong thing are not carrying on life as usual because they're taking wrong things into their calculations praise the Lord as long as our attention is on the wrong thing the test will continue don't consider the test or turn it over in your mind that's worried it's worried and worried doesn't receive the power of God amen the good thing is you don't have to make the test stop so many people are trying to make it stop they're trying to get their time to get rid of the pain not your job get rid of the pain not your job to make the body life not your job your job is to believe according to what was spoken that's our job what did God say about it we answer those situations with what God said about it it's not our job to get rid of me well I'm trying to believe gone get rid of that pain you can give her pain he said he will hasten to his word to perform it he's the doer of all this amen you can't make the money calm all you do is do what he says plant your seed and release your faith and water it water that seed keep the weeds off of it keep the doubt off of it keep the unforgiveness off of it keep the offense off of it and let it grow I mean when Ed went home to be with the Lord on a Friday on Monday morning I went into the financial office to Francine and I said Francine tell us where we're at financially because they had handled I handled the church side but he handled the the traveling side of the ministry and I said tell me where we're at she said well today is payday she said we missed last payday and we don't and today we have payday and I said well how much is in the account she said and she said something either twelve or fourteen hundred dollars something like that and we have over 20-something employees and she told me that I did start laughing what you gonna do I look like I've got a got a job to do done II why I can't perform this I can't perform it and if I worry it's cuz I'm thinking I've got to perform it and if I'm talking wrong is because I think I've got to perform it if I'm talking to problem at the dinner tables because I think I got a performance he hastens to his word to perform it so I just start laughing my gosh I mean like getting lined there's a bunch of other stuff that's just other stuff that are our place now just everything just getting lined and just since I can't lift it no use trying so I said I'm gonna polish my nails why I'm doing something to keep my mind off of why it matters where my attention goes it might I'm not gonna go home and sitting worrying oh my god oh my god what are we gonna do now I got enough things to be making up junk and throw it on the pile so I just went in and turned on Holy Ghost TV HGTV why am I doing this I'm not gonna pray this thing through I'm not gonna confess get up and make emergency confessions I'm gonna consider not and consider not all this stuff piled up right now yeah you can imagine all the piled up stuff I'm going to consider not why because I need my nails polish I'm keep it took more faith to not pray in worry amen faith is the diligent effort to rest in God it was more important that I practice resting on him and reclining on him than going home and praying in the spirit not I'm not trying to that but I'm saying so many do that and as an act of panic and call it faith and it's not faith faith is arrest my labor was to enter into rest and polish on my nails that that help me get in that rest I do it what am i doing I'm staying out of the thoughts where the mind wants to go and I'm there sitting home and Francine texted me about 45 minutes later and she said pastor Nancy she said somebody just overnighted us a check for $100,000 I said I don't doubt it why he hastens to his word to perform it they sent it on Friday it was money it was already in the delivery guy's truck how stupid to worry and do emergency prayer meetings over what was already in the truck on its way to me I will say I did say this when I went home I said God my husband when he entered heaven he knew the situation of the projects that were on the table for him he knew that and I said I know my husband he's our to talk to you about that so I expect you to fulfill your word to your prophet that's all I prayed expect you to fulfill it praise the Lord hallelujah if we're not if we are to consider not what are we going to consider well turn with me if you would to Hebrews chapter 12 Hebrews chapter 12 to think about this remember the recording we have about what the word says about the last supper that Jesus shared with his disciples Jesus knew he's getting ready to face what he was born for right he knows he's within maybe a couple hours of being arrested he knows this that's why he's having this time and having this last instruction with his disciples and it says that John was reclining upon him now think about it how many times have you ever seen a man reclining on another man it's not I don't know if maybe something in their culture that might have been usual to see but for us it's not something usual to see if Jesus were harassed troubled tormented about what he was on the threshold of why do you think somebody would see and take their life and just recline it on him he exuded such peace and rest in the face of what he was getting ready to face that that a grown man said I want to rest my life on this think of it how do you do that he wasn't sitting there at that dinner harassed thinking about what he's getting ready to face he wasn't considering the wrong thing Hebrews chapter 12 verse 2 verses 2 through 4 says this looking unto Jesus can we say this our attention on Jesus our focus on Jesus our conversation on him looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith I love what pass I believe it was pastor Craig field said the author and the finisher he authors it and he finishes it but we got to put the middle in it we have to walk out this life of faith so he can finish what he authored in us we do the work of walking out that word believing him looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross despising the shame and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God for consider him the see were told that Abraham considered not his body but what did he consider he considered him well it says he he believed according to what was spoken he was considering the word so if we say we consider him what are we doing we're considering the word Jesus and his word or one consider the word because considering him consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself look at this last if you don't do this you'll be wearied and faint in your mind your mind will bail on you your mind will sabotage the will of God and the plan of God and the victory in the miracle that belongs to you see your mind can't handle this your mind isn't built to believe God with the only spirit can you believe go with your spirit with your heart you can't believe God with your brain with your mind can't believe it that's not what it's built for if you find yourself sensing you you feel overwhelmed or you're grasping because you try and believe go with your brain your mind that's why so notice this it says we are to consider him we're to consider him if we're to endure we're to see how he overcame before it overcome he had to overcome what did he do to overcome well it tells us what he did for the joy that was set before him he endured the cross what does that mean the joy that was set before him well the cross wasn't the joy there was no joy in that what was the joy what was going to happen on the other side of the cross that was the joy for the joy of being raised from the dead seated at the right hand the father bringing many sons to glory that was the joy that he focus on so what he did he did not set his attention on the difficulty in the hardship that he was going to be facing he looked he looked clear through the cross and looked on the other side and said that's where my attention is and that's how he endured for the joy that was set before him now he could endure because his attention is on the right thing that's how he got through it as they're whipping him this is for the freedom of humanity see he kept focused on what is this for what is this for what is this for everything that God puts in front of you the devil tries to put challenges to block there block them from your view and if you're just going to be fixed on the challenges you'll never get into what God is holding for you on the other side listen the devil's not just randomly attacking he's attacking with purpose there's something more God has for you what does it say in first Corinthians chapter 16 verse 9 Paul said there's a great new effectual door opened on me but there's adversaries at the door what does the devil do anytime it's a door for more the devil puts himself there with opposition to try to block your entrance why because he knows if you get past him you're getting into what God offers you and so many people stop at the door because they're so fixated on the opposition it's so big and they just admire it so much seriously you say I don't admire if you talk about it if you think about it you're placing your admiration on it you're admiring it you're impressed with it I mean consider not is so fully demonstrated with Smith Wigglesworth going to bed sleep falling asleep and then wakes out the middle of night because he senses an evil presence and wake something Satan sitting on the side of his bed and he says oh it's just you and he turned around and went back to sleep now let me tell you something he could still feel the evil if you're not peaceful when you feel evil you're doing it wrong greater is He that's in us then he that's in the room let me tell you something you start getting into the realm of the spirit you start praying a lot and you'll start perceiving things and if that troubles you you better get out of there then you don't know enough to be in there you understand there are people for example I'll not say who but there was a well-known minister in the healing revival they had to change his bedroom twelve times one night at their 12 different hotel rooms because he couldn't rest in the room listen I understand that because you get into certain realms of the Spirit and he said he could sense everything that had gone on in those rooms couldn't rest that's not right it's not right to not be peaceful Jesus said my peace I leave with you Jesus was surrounded by hordes of demons all the time trying to stop him religious Devils and everything and he just walked right through him peaceful peaceful is not Devils leaving you alone victory is not when the devil quits picking on you victory is when you don't you're not disturbed or troubled by what's ever going on around you so many people are trying to get the devil to leave Malone you don't understand your place yet he prepared a table before us right in the presence of our enemies when enemies show up make sure you're at the table so Smith Wigglesworth said oh it's just you and he turned over and went back to sleep you know there there's if if you decide you can't go to certain places because all you senses demons your devil conscious won't you be God conscious greater is He that's in you in 2009 in 2009 the spirit of death showed up and for four years that spirit of death stayed in the home what was he doing looking for an opportunity to take it out that's what he did and I tell you I could sense it and the more you prayed the more you sensitive that further you went in the spirit and God said to me one day he said all I want you doing is practicing peace I'd wake up in midnight and you could sense that but then I knew how to draw on peace and I learned how to even though that thing was present I learned how not to be disturbed I learned how to get my attention off of what I felt I didn't understand everything that was going on but I'm just when you look back now you see what that was but I'm so grateful for what I learned dad Hagin I would say was one of the most spiritual men this earth has ever gotten to host you didn't have to change dad Hagen's hotel room 12 times I'm not trying to be rude or I'm trying to say there's a place in God that no matter what's going on you're not impressed with it because you're so mindful of what belongs to you Jesus faced more than any man ever faced he wasn't troubled they the word says he was anointed with the oil of gladness above his brethren he was the most joyful guy in the group and he was more spiritual he sensed more things amen people say why can't go to certain locations because I sense Devils don't you go enjoy your salvation and quit being mindful of Devils I'm not saying go to wrong locations where sin is practice but you can't get out of the world there's going to be Devils at certain locations that your life is going to have to go to you're doing it wrong you say how do you know that because I've been there and I would sense things and it would trouble me and I couldn't rest and I couldn't sleep because of what I was sensing and I said to God this isn't right I'm doing this wrong and he said back out that's what he told me back out of this place until you learned some things and what did he teach me how to live in peace and then he said me now you can go back in why because I know that I'm not waiting for things to leave before I'm peaceful I bring the peace with me what what is it about it's about what your attention on well praise the Lord we could say more but we won't say more about that but I'm telling you it's important to learn this because in the last day revival when you talk about full measure power full measure the fivefold offices full measure that the non manifestations of the Spirit and operation the devil's are going to sit back and congratulate us they're going to show up to oppose that and you better learn how to be peaceful and unimpressed by what opposes you how you gonna do that consider not praise the Lord so Jesus looked clear on the other side of the cross he didn't look at what the devil was making big in front of him that was the difference between David beating Goliath and the other Israeli soldiers hiding their Israeli soldiers just kept looking at Goliath and said we can't beat him he's too big David comes up I love the question he asked what's the reward that God gets who beats this ugly guy what's the reward what was he doing he's thinking about what's on the other side of Goliath the reward must be big because this big boys blocking something big the reward must be big that's one of the first things he asks if I beat him what do I get if you stay in faith what do you get if you consider not what do you get there's something you get [Music] if you're going to consider things you're going to give up what you should have had and what you could have had amen David comes up says what's the man get that beats him and that every one of them quoted the soldiers are the one that told him they knew that they were focused on him instead of focused on what they get they said it's a threefold reward first of all the king will bestow great wealth on the man this is a kid rich in a day get-rich-quick scheme right there he is I just think I found the lottery ticket the winning lottery ticket in a moment you woke up you just your daddy's shepherd boy that he sends to the field but by the end of the day I'm be richer than all of you guys right second thing gets to Mary the king's daughter are you kidding the king's daughter what she looked like don't matter don't matter baby she's the King's doctor it don't matter what she looks like she comes with a lot [Music] you know what that means you get the king's daughter you have just changed the bloodline of your generations you're now got royal blood your this is not just going to affect David in his marriage it's going to affect a generation after generation after generation what you consider can rob from or bless generations you practice considering the wrong thing it's going to rub from your life and rub from your children's life and rub from your grandchildren it's going to rub from you if you learn to consider the right thing you get things you never had before and your children come into a life tell you so it's not just about I get a wife my I get a future my children get a future and might the entire destiny of my lineage has changed if I will not look at what's in front of me and look on the other side it's all in where you look the third thing free from service he gets free from service what's that mean well for him and his family no taxes that big ugly guys a big tax deduction that's what he is a lifelong tax deduction no wonder he's running he wants to get there get my reward the quicker you take his head off the quicker you get all this stuff what's on the other side of considering the right thing greater anointing greater Revelation greater faith more experience with God knowing God better finances you've been believing for health you been believing for there is so much on the other side of what is blocking your view get it all get your attention off the wrong thing and that's what Hebrews 12 is talking about looking unto Jesus he and he for the joy that was set before him when you see something show up that opposes you what's it blocking you need to find out wait a minute what's this thing blocking it's trying to stop my entrance into something and so many thoughts so many people just get impressed with what showed up to oppose them that's all they talk about and they don't even consider it's blocking something there's a joy that's on the other side of this thing hallelujah hallelujah praise the Lord I said praise the Lord and then I'll close with this we could go on because I'm having to turn a lot of pages Deuteronomy 30 verse 19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you that I have set before you life and death blessing and cursing this is really what pastor Anderson's been teaching us in the morning choose life choose life you say well I'm born again I chose life every day you have to choose the flow of life every day yes you're born again but there is a flow to this life we're not living by chance we're living by choice and if you don't like your life quit choosing what you're choosing praise the Lord your life is a picture all of our lives are a picture of what we're choosing every day every day when symptoms show up now you have a choice to make because he offered your life and I saw I so appreciate God I set before you life death blessing cursing then he says choose life this is the right answer this is it but get people all the time choosing well I don't feel well where's the money going to come from you're choosing the wrong thing choose life what is choosing I choose what he said what did he say about the situation every day you're going to be presented with something grab make a choice you're gonna believe your body you're gonna believe you find answers you're gonna believe you're gonna believe things amen every day something's gonna show up believe me when Ed went home to be with the Lord every day multiple things were shot multiple I mean large things we're showing up and you know what I so appreciated I would get up and sometimes I'd be about halfway through my morning all of a sudden I sense a blanket of the anointing come on me I go oh that's for purpose we winning something today we went in something today and sure enough I get a phone call I get an email I get some kind of crisis no no no no the anointing already got here for that every day I paid attention when the anointing could come I knew there's something I'm getting ready to win you see many people know another problem listen if you don't want if you if you're going to say yes to God you're gonna say yes to challenges and if you don't want the challenges just go back to just doing living an ordinary guys but I'd rather have what God offers me and face the challenges amen why don't you get up and say what am I gonna win the day amen hallelujah hallelujah every day every day choosing life and one of my favorite verses this is the verse that got me through some one of the greatest difficulties of my life then I'll close with this Philippians 4 Philippians chapter 4 verse 11 the amplified said with Paul now this letter that he wrote to the Philippians where was he prison the darkest place a man can find himself prison dad Hagin had Jesus to in one visitation from Jesus they had brother Hagin said that Jesus told there's three places in the earth that demons congregate now they're everywhere but they congregate in certain places he said hospitals universities and prisons so Paul's in one of those places where demons congregate you understand he was in a congregation of demons and he writes this I've learned how to be content satisfied to the point where I'm not disturbed or disquieted and whatever state I am there's a victory right there there's a victory there's a victory right in the middle of demons he said I've learned so you have to learn this you have to learn it Paul had to learn it you have to learn how to be untroubled with something sitting on your head sitting on your finances sitting on your flesh you have to learn I've learned how to be content satisfied to the point where I'm not disturbed or disquieted and whatever state I am I mean I could wake up in the middle of night and fear and that that spirit of death was so strong in the room you could it's tangible and I'd lay there and just get my attention off of it amen I learned I learned that's how I didn't get in the spirit of grief and my family didn't get in when Ed went home to be with the Lord why because I learned something amen I learned for I learned peace I've learned how to be content satisfied to the point where I'm not disturbed or disquieted and whatever state I am you're gonna consider the wrong thing you can't have that praise the Lord I said praise the Lord praise the Lord somebody asked dad Hagin I so appreciate this they asked dad Hagin they said how come you're so settled nothing flusters you he said this because I've suffered so much now what do you mean by that I have faced so much and I learned how to be untroubled by what I say if you run from what your face and go hide and do what your flesh is always done in the past you're never going to learn and that's the reward of facing those things with the word is untroubled it's completely settled not flustered by anything that shows up two occasions this is living the good life Amen hallelujah hallelujah did you get help tonight praise the Lord stand with me to your feet father we thank you tonight for your word these things are precious to us they're priceless to us thank you for your word thank you for your word if it weren't for your word we wouldn't know these things so father now that we've heard and see even clearer we purpose to be doers we give you things right now we're so grateful that you've given us the best place to look this life and circumstances try to show us so much but you've already given us the best place to look we look at your word we look at the victory you provided for us and we focus our attention on that we thank you for it father we thank you have you ever noticed that the more you look at you and your failures and shortcomings it's like you sink but you look at him you rise amen a bad self-image as somebody who's looking the wrong direction you're looking the wrong direction amen he gives us the best view amen hallelujah well we said that if there's anyone here that you weren't ministered to during these week of meetings and you want hands laid on you for healing we want to do go but it's going to take your faith to get those doors open why not because not because you're trying to coerce God into it but the devil loves to buck those doors loves to block them and with your those angels to go and bring into his hands all that is earmarked and reserved and waiting for him we thank you for it father what a good thing to get to say oh you're you're like none other generation to get our portion I'm not willing I'm not willing for it to go to the next I want the part that we're to have the part we're to play the portion that belongs to us amen I want people to future generations to Jesus Terry is coming look back at this generation say oh I wish I'd been alive and seeing some of that just like we do about past generations we admire and appreciate what others saw well we want it said about this generation because we moved with the word in the spirit amen hallelujah pastors what's God doing for you a word and spirit church that's what he's doing amen
