How to Add a MiniMap to Palworld (Steam, Xbox Game Pass)

as you can see I have a mini map working for power world and don't ask me anything about my cool skin I already made a video on that just yesterday but yeah the main point in here is that we have a nice looking mini map on the top as you can see in the top right I'm going to teach you how to get that mini map working for power wal in this video so yeah let's go ahead and get started with this tutorial the first step is to click the second link in the description which is going to bring you to a written guide on how to download an install this mini map for power world this is an in-depth guide and I try to make it as simple as possible this is probably one of our simp guides or articles that we have ever written however if you don't want to read through the guide and look at the screenshots all you have to do is to scroll down and click where it says download that is going to redirect you to the Nexus mod website to the basic minimap page right once you're here you're going to click where it says download right here on the right you're going to see it right there it might say manual for you or it might say download just click on it and there's a big chance that it might have you log in as you can see this mod will require you as you can see this mod requires us to have Unreal Engine 4Ss and if you don't have that because you haven't watched my videos in the past don't worry I'm going to teach you how to get this in a second and it's super super simple okay anyways let's go ahead and download the basic minim map First Once you here right like I said you might have to log in and create an Nexus account don't worry it is completely free to create an account once you're over here go ahead and click where it says a slow download and then just wait for the file to download it might take a couple seconds but once you downloaded that basic mini map file go ahead and drag and drop it to your desktop as you can see this is a r AR file that means that you might have to use WinRAR to open this file I'm going to leave a guide in the description on how to download install windr is super simple so you're able to open this file but now that we have the mini map let's go ahead and download that file that we need right because as you can see if we go to requirements you need Unreal Engine 4Ss in order to download the Unreal Engine well you could either use our guiding here right by clicking here where it says Unreal Engine and then downloading it from here or if you're here in the basic mini map website you could just scroll down click on requirements click where it says Unreal Engine forss when I click on it that is going to redirect you to this GitHub page click on the newest release which is this one right right here and then you scroll down and then click where it says uee for SS X input right because we need the X input version once you click on it it's going to start the download of a zip file and that zip file is the Unreal Engine 4Ss now we have everything that we need to start installing the basic minimap mod and in order to do so you're going to have to find the installation of your game if you're using the steam version of the game you could simply right click the game in your library click races manage and click browse local files if you're using the Xbox game pass version it's pretty similar you just have to to click on the settings of the game within your Xbox pass interface and then open the installation folder once you're over here you're going to click where it says p and then you're going to click where says binaries you're going to click on win 64 and now you're going to drop the content of the Unreal Engine for SS zip file not the mini map right not the first one we downloaded but the X input one the second one we downloaded go ahead and open that zip file if you're using Windows 11 you could just double click on it and it will open like a folder and now select everything within that zip file every file in here and every folder as well and Dragon drop it into the win64 from power world in my case it's asking me to replace the file but for you guys it's not going to ask you anything because you haven't installed on real engine 4Ss now after we added the realine 4Ss to the game we could actually delete the zip file but don't exit this folder because we're not done yet what you're going to do now is Click where say mods right here you see the mods folder you just added it and then find this mods. txt file by the way we explained all of this in our written article in the description second link go ahead and open this mod that txt file and then where it says BP mod loader mod make sure you change that zero to L1 just like so change it to a one and now save that close this text document right click it click where say properties right after you right click click where say properties and now make sure you change it to read only and then apply it because we don't want the game making any changes to this file make sure that you still have the one in there like as you can see we still have that one close that text document and now you could exit this folder and go back to the installation folder of power world once you over here go ahead and open the pile folder again click where it says content and then in here where you have the packs folder you might not have that mod config one you might just have the packs folder what you're going to do is open that first file we downloaded right the basic mini map like I said I'm going to leave a guide on how to download and install winr in the description on article as well just so you guys could also be able to open that file the way I am but once you open it all you're going to do is drag and drop the packs and the mod config into this folder it's going to have me replace the files but for you guys it's just going to add it right away goad and replace those files and now let's go ahead and launch the game you could close out from this folder let's go ahead and launch the game from Steam by the way guys if you've been trying to create a server fall power and you being struggling don't worry because Apex hosting because it's your server okay once that's said let's keep going with the tutorial and as you can see when we load into a world we now have a mini map in the top left I think you could change the position of the mini map by going into the configuration of the mini map in the folder that we installed it however however I do recommend that you read through the description of the mod whenever you're downloading it because if you want to get this working online you might have to sh change a couple other things and I'm going to show you right here let's go ahead and close the game if we head over to the description of the mod you scroll down a little bit you can see that for the online play if you have any issues while trying to get this online you might have to do a couple changes so
