HOW MUCH DOES IT COST IN FUEL TO DRIVE A 42' MOTORHOME FROM ARIZONA TO FLORIDA?

what's going on everybody i'm getting ready to head down to river landings motor coach resort in labelle florida right now i'm in arizona i'm gonna let you know how much money it costs me in fuel to get there it's about 2300 miles i'm gonna let you know how much the expenses and campgrounds and any other expenses i incur so let's see how expensive it is to drive a 10 year old diesel pusher across country [Music] right it's go time [Music] it's thursday december 17th and i left phoenix right at 1pm so let's see how long it takes me to get to florida and how much money it cost first stop 115. i enjoy fueling up at truck stops it's kind of a cool vibe out here [Music] stop at a rest stop here just to use the uh restroom in the back of the coach and uh back on the road i'm just trekking it's about 4 15. i'm just cruising i'm just outside of benson arizona back on the road again finding a spot to rest for the night could be really really difficult kind of like to just roll with the flow and kind of see where i end up so hopefully there is a truck stop or a rest area some somewhere by el paso for me to stay tonight we'll see [Music] a little traffic here in el paso texas looks like there is a little bit of an accident up there and el paso is the first city that i've ever seen big signs where it literally says that if your vehicle stalls to stay in your car and call the police so i didn't realize this may not be the safest city uh from some of the uh clues i'm getting here so hopefully everybody's okay and hopefully this wreck isn't too bad uh this is what the rest areas are starting to look like here literally barely getting by these guys because they're all sleeping here good thing i've got a lot of energy i made sure to get a really good night's rest last night in case this would happen i guess i could stop right here but this is just not a very this isn't the most ideal spot to pull over and sleep here so rest areas are taken this is because of these electronic log books these truckers used to run a lot more hours but it looks a little spot right there i think i'm gonna have to take it okay so i stopped filming last night i was trying to find a place to stop i went to a couple truck stops there was absolutely no sights i ended up driving until about about midnight and uh stayed at a rest stop wasn't the best sleep because i could hear lots of trucks going by my bedroom back there so uh you know part of the deal if you're not planning ahead and you're not getting rv resorts or you don't have places to stay you're at the mercy of the truck stops and the rest stops it used to not be a very big deal but with the electronic log books it's really kept the truckers honest where before a lot of the truckers used to run two sets of log books and be able to kind of let's go check on it doesn't stop i'm sitting at a truck stop here got my computer out i'm gonna get to work punching on the keyboard and get some stuff down here so this is kind of funny that you guys saw a video titled i made a big mistake and it was by far my number one performing video it's already got 19 800 views in the first 21 hours appreciate you guys and ladies and gentlemen welcome to camping world of katy texas nice little uh stopping point here i just put in another 148 dollars into the fuel tank stopping here at camping world my buddy robert constantine works here and he's getting me set up with a spot just to hang out for the evening some people like to stay at rv resorts i really like coming to like rv dealers kind of facilities a little more uh industrial style a little different vibe but this is this is kind of my speed right here so i'm gonna crash out at camping world here in houston tonight that was a nice evening at camping world here in houston texas or actually katie texas can't thank them enough for letting me stay here but it's time to keep jamming towards florida [Music] lake charles louisiana another uh loves truck stop here i've still got over a half a tank but i just i'm ready to get off the road for a minute and uh get some breakfast i didn't eat breakfast this morning so just gonna stop eat a little bit and uh keep trekking ah i always enjoy operating this big equipment i don't know there's just something about it the fuel here in louisiana was only dollars because i just filled up in houston i'm in like lake charles louisiana gonna have a quick uh sandwich here and then keep tracking um while i'm pulled over too i'm gonna make some calls uh handle some business that's the cool thing about traveling by rv is you can really travel at your own pace sometimes i'll just trek it and just put down a lot of hours driving other times i'll stop get some work done here in the back of my coach whenever i'm done with my work i can jump on the road so i'm enjoying the road trip so far [Music] yes [Music] [Applause] [Music] just pulled into the french quarter rv resort here in somewhere in louisiana new orleans [Music] louisiana [Music] somewhere outside of mobile alabama [Music] 163.93 we have made it to florida ladies and gentlemen florida welcomes you so last night i stayed at uh in new orleans uh very unique experience i made a whole video all about that experience and the resort i stayed at there but uh just cruising away really excited to get to uh river landings uh probably gonna just drive to the panhandle tonight and then we'll make the rest of the trek on monday if i really wanted to push it i could get to river landings tonight but um i'm not really in that big of a hurry all right another 142.32 cents out of loves and somebody's shower is ready so this is how it's going down at a truck stop here um i'm in somewhere in the florida panhandle i don't know exactly where i'm at i'm gonna try to get a spot here so with the electronic logs i've talked about it in other videos it's only like 5 30 6 o'clock at night and all these truckers are already parked out for the night because they can only drive for 10 hours at a time i believe i'm gonna try to find a spot looks like i might be in luck here today so i'm settled in so a lot of you probably wondering why i have stopped so many times for fuel well i like to not let my diesel tank it's a 100 gallon tank and i like to not let it get below a quarter of a tank the reason being is to run your generator you got to have at least a quarter of a tank so if something were to happen i would want to be able to use my generator that's the reason that i stopped so often just to make sure that i'm kind of prepared for an emergency now i haven't shaved in a while i gotta get cleaned up here i've been on the road i've been kind of truck driver style so i don't mind staying at uh truck stops when i'm inside of my coach literally this is like being at home i'm going to pull out my laptop maybe turn on the acs and the fans just to kind of drown out some of the noise but i think i should be pretty good here all the semi trucks their engines are in the front of the coach i'm kind of 40 feet that way so we'll see this is going to be the last probably fuel stop before i get to river landings that's going to be the next stop and then um then you'll see me clean shaving and looking forward to it so that's that's coming soon we're getting close about five hours away so right now i'm sitting at this truck stop in florida it's hard to keep up with all the vlogs i'm actually editing a different vlog right now but um i literally i've been just geeking out just punching away on the keyboard and i forgot where i am i literally was just sitting in my rv and i had to think for a second okay where am i oh yeah i'm sitting at a truck stop because i heard a diesel go by but yeah nothing better than just being able to kind of forget where you're at go right to work and then i'll probably go take a shower and pass out when i'm uh done editing this video so just i'm really enjoying the rv road trip and just being in the rv definitely uh just a different pace but um something i enjoy getting closer as you guys can see i got shaved this morning i was looking pretty rough there i just had the opportunity to break some really exciting news about tiffin selling to thor industries if you haven't already seen that video make sure to check that out i'll leave a link in the description below but i'm really excited now i'm getting pretty close to the the finish line here river landings motor coach resort the most exclusive rv resort in the country i'm excited so and and i'm coming in with a clean shave i i'm not gonna come in looking like a bum like i did there last night [Music] okay so pulling in for my final tank of fuel here i'm about a half hour from river landings i just want to make sure that i have plenty of fuel it's just always something were to happen you always want to be sitting with a full tank of diesel fuel so i'm going to top it off but let's almost there and then when i get there i'm going to tally up how much money in diesel it cost me to go from scottsdale arizona to labelle florida it's nice little loves here tell we're in florida now everything's a little more green a little more tropical even some nice palm trees here to loves truck stop and i've got to say i think loves is definitely dominating the truck stop world i've stopped that more love's truck stop i don't know why just they seem to be pretty convenient and they're everywhere [Music] [Applause] [Music] so that's north trail rv right there it's kind of a trip that's where i bought my coach which is funny because it's about uh 20 minutes from river landing so kind of funny i've taken this rv on quite a journey since i bought it about 22 months ago so not quite two years ago i've taken this coach down to arizona all the way up to oregon out to sturgis uh back to oregon this coach has been all around i have put about 15 000 miles in two years on it so definitely enjoying the journey but i'm gonna really enjoy being able to set the coach down here river landings kind of chill out a little bit here and there is a really good restaurant called the boat house right here you see a billboard for it if you come to river landings i definitely recommend going to the boathouse tiki bar and grill [Music] all right ladies and gentlemen we have arrived and i just gotta say 79 degrees beautiful weather look at that clubhouse man [Music] man this is so nice so effortless [Music] all right nice beautiful day here i think i have to straighten out a little bit it's so nice out here it was literally about four days to the minute um that it took me to get out here i left about 1 p.m arizona time on thursday got here about 3 p.m florida time on monday so really cool trip i'm gonna have to make some more videos about this resort because this is the spot to be at right here river landings motor coach resort i've never had well i guess i no i've never had a waterfront site like this before definitely the place to be i'm really excited to be here okay so i've got the final tab here i'm just going over everything here all of the different stops so from door to door and diesel fuel to drive my tiffin faden from scottsdale arizona to river landings motor coach resort here in lebel florida it was 1068 dollars in diesel fuel i stayed at free stops the entire way except for one night at the french quarter resort that was a hundred and twelve dollars so i said about eleven hundred and eighty dollars in travel costs to get across country it took me exactly four days almost to the minute and um i'm excited to be here i came in i actually uh it was good to see a bunch of old friends last night i probably stayed up a little bit later than i should have but that's all good i've been rested and getting stuff done today and a lot of really cool stuff going around here so lots of cool stuff coming soon i greatly appreciate all of you liking these videos and subscribing to the channel and just
