hey y'all Katherine here today we are doing something super fun I'm hosting a crawfish boil I'm going to be using my double sack cooker from Texas Star Outdoors got two sacks of crawfish and I can't wait to cook them up so let's get in to our crawfish boil we're gonna start by purging our crawfish which is getting all the mud and mud off of these Mud Bugs so I'm using this Cowboy crawfish washer and it worked great what's up Mike [Music] see how dirty and muddy and nasty this water looks we basically want to let them run through this crawfish washer until this water is coming out nice and clean but now that the water's reached the top we're an undo this drain plug and it keeps a constant flow of water to wash out all the Crawfish mud and debris now that the water's running clear these babies are ready for the boil got the first set nice and clean so we're gonna dump them in a cooler and second bag all right our two sacks are ready I'm about to throw some queso on the grill to smoke it I've got a block of Velveeta half a block of cream cheese there's some pepper jack and colby jack in here a pound of cooked pork sausage two cans of Rotel there's a can of cream of jalapeno a can of diced jalapenos and it's ready to go get melty and warm on the smoker I'll show y'all when it's done the queso just came out looks so good our water is getting nice and hot and boiling so it's time to add in our seasonings let me show you what we're using we're using our favorite Croc cane seasoning we're using two kilos of that we have two of these Croc cane ball Rouge it's seafood boil and liquid crab boil in here so we're gonna drop two of those in we got some crab boil over here and then we're gonna add in some lemons some onions some minced garlic and some salt let's get to it all right let's get our water nice and seasoned it's actually already come to a boil s so I have this gallon of crawfish and crab boil we're gonna use about half of this and dump it right in the water up next I have my craw cane seasoning this stuff is awesome I'll leave a link down below if you want to check it out let's add this in now we're going to add in my balls up next we have a 32 ounce jar of minced garlic 26 ounces of salt and we're adding it all in there and the last two things we're adding in for flavor we got some onion and we got some lemons we're about to squeeze all the lemons in there and then we're gonna let it come back to a boil add these puppies in there Splash Zone now we squeeze all right we added in all of our stuff we're gonna let it come back to a nice roll-in boil let it do that for about 15 minutes then we're gonna add in our Mud Bugs they're all nice and clean and ready pour the boil I think foreign the Crawfish are added we're gonna let it come up to a boil and boil it for about three minutes before killing the Heat and letting them soak I got two pounds of white mushrooms we're gonna go ahead and dump those things we're at a nice boil so we're gonna keep them in here for three minutes and then kill the Heat all right y'all we just cut off the heat after boiling these and now we're gonna let them soak for about 20 to 30 minutes but I have about 24 these little mini things of corn and we're gonna add these in and help lower the temperature of the water so let's throw that in the day and and I've got a bunch of zataran smoked sausage that I thawed I chopped it up and we're gonna throw this in too let's stir this up I'm going to close the lid and we are going to soak what let them get all that flavor all right all right let's let himself all right they've been soaking let's dump these and it's time to eat [Applause] having this hold a dump the Crawfish straight into the cooler is the best thing ever look at that y'all all right y'all the Crawfish is ready to eat let's go oh they're looking so good all right y'all it's time to come get you a scoop and let's eat all right we got our crawfish tables pulled out we got our everyone's got them say hey fam we got everyone here and we're eating and enjoying heck yeah oh this is so good hey guys jumping in the next day after the Crawfish Boil y'all I had so much fun hosting my first ever Crawfish Boil that I put together all by myself at my house and it turned out great thank you so so much for tuning in and watching and be sure to stay tuned because I know I'm gonna do a lot more boils this season thanks for watching guys bye y'all
