[Music] hi everybody everybody i'm back everybody genie young is back and i'm back with yet another amazing recipe i am so excited today because today at the young's house gina young is going to share with you all how easy it is to make a honey glazed pork chop this recipe is delicious it's so easy to make it doesn't require a lot of ingredients and you know making gina young style it's gonna be so tasty y'all never had my honey glazed pork chops before you better make you some here are the lovely ingredients you will need of course you're going to need some pork chops when i fry up pork chops i love to get the assorted pork chops that way each pork chop is a little bit different so i have some beautiful pork chops here that i have washed in lime juice salt and cold water and then i've pat them dry with the paper towel you will need some butter you're going to need some ketchup you're going to also need some honey and soy sauce on the side of our pork chops we're going to have some sweet corn on the cob and also some stove top stuffing you will need a couple of spices so we can spice everything up and make everything delicious here's what you'll need over this way you're going to need some garlic paste now listen here if you can't find garlic paste it's okay just use regular garlic you're going to need some paprika onion and garlic powder parsley flakes and salt make sure your hands are impeccably clean let's get started with this really quick and simple yet so tasty recipe okay everyone one of the first things that we want to do is we want to put some beautiful seasoning onto these gorgeous pork chops so we're going to do just so all right so we're going to put some sea salt any kind of salt that you love that's what you're going to use don't get crazy with the salt okay now when i have a thin pork chop or a thin meat i normally will season just one side but today we're going to season both sides okay just like so we want this to have amazing flavor so once we have that salt let's get some beautiful parsley on there the parsley you know to be honest it really doesn't give a flavor but it's going to make everything nice and beautiful all right so and we're going to go with some garlic powder just like so in this manner let me know in the comment section below have you ever had a honey glazed pork chop if you haven't you are in for a treat so that's onion and garlic powder going on just like so we're going to put our last spice on which is paprika make sure you do not use the smoked paprika i'm really not a fan of smoked paprika you don't see me use it a lot all right so now i'm gonna season the other side off camera and when i come back i'll show you what to do next okay everyone so i let our spices seep down into that gorgeous pork for around about 15 minutes you can let yours marinate overnight if you like now we're going to take about a teaspoon and a half of this butter and we're going to put it into our pan our pan is hot and inside of the pan i have some vegetable oil okay so we're going to mix that butter with that vegetable oil we're gonna get these gorgeous pork chops into our pan and we're going to be cooking these chops on a medium-high heat okay so let's see how many i can fit into the can but you know you don't want to overcrowd it if you need to make two batches then that's what you might have to do i think three let's see there we go all right so once these start to get nice beautiful and golden brown i'm gonna wash my hands i'll come back and i'll show you what we'll do next so now we have our pork chop searing on one side let's go ahead and take this time to make some stuffing make some listen here here's what i always like to say but excuse me sometimes you want to let your main dish star in the meal so let's just say for instance we are making the honey glazed pork chops you wouldn't want to make sweet potatoes because the two would be fighting up against each other you want to make something that's kind of mellow on the side if you can understand so like for instance we're making the honey glazed pork chops how about a baked potato you know or how about some macaroni and cheese and corn instead of something that's gonna fight up against the flavor so now that's my purpose for making the stuffing we're gonna use a cup and a half of warm water i'm going to use a half a stick of butter here this is kerrygold butter but you know you can use any kind of butter that you love all right once this gets nice beautiful and melty i'm going to go ahead and put my seasoning pack and my croutons in we'll mix it up turn it down cover it up and it's done so while we wait on our butter to get nice and melty and our water to boil let's go ahead and clean our corn on the cob okay so it's already been chucked and i normally like to just break it in half for bite size pieces okay just like this and right here this is some cold salt water i might need to pour a little bit of this water out i like to soak my corn on the cob and get it nice and clean and then i'll go through and pull any silk pieces that is on it and once i do that i'm going to go over to the larger stove i have a big pot of boiling water that has a little bit of sugar and salt in it when i come back okay everyone so our water has started to boil and our butter's nice and melty go ahead put your bag of seasoning and croutons in and at this point you can turn that burner completely off okay you want to give it a nice stir and cover it with the lid or coil and this can come off the burner it's done okay everyone i want to take a peek down at our gorgeous pork chops they should oh yeah look at that beautiful you just want a nice beautiful golden brown color on both sides look at that gorgeous color all right that's what we're looking for now we're going to meet you're going to meet me over at the larger stove and we're going to get started on our corn on the cob okay everyone so remember i've salted my water i put a little bit of sugar in as well and i'm going to cover this with foil and we're going to let it cook until our pork chops are fully done okay everyone so i want you all to take a look at these gorgeous pork chops now what we're going to do is we're going to take them out of the pan we're going to get them out of the pan and we're just going to set them onto a platter just like so we're going to let them rest while we cook the other two pork chops and then when i come back i'm going to share with you all how to make this amazing honey garlic sauce well it's a glaze that is absolutely so easy and so delicious and we're going with our last pork chops now in my pan if you take a peek you will see that i put new butter in my pan we're going to get these nice and seared off and like i said when i come back i'm going to show you how to make this quick and simple amazing glaze gina young style say hi everybody you all likes about prince and polo on a daily basis here they are that's polo right there and here is princy princey look up say hi there they are okay everyone our pork chops are ready to be turned you should see a nice beautiful what a gorgeous color you know they're going to be good if they look good they're going to be good when i come back we're going to get started on this sauce it only takes five minutes to cook okay everyone our pork chops are done let's look at the other side i want to show you this caramelization that we've achieved gorgeous that's what you're looking for we're going to set them right here with those oh yes just like so now let's get started on our sauce it's so much fun okay so you'll see the remnants that we have left in our pan okay you have some oil left in you have some gorgeous seasoning now let's put a little bit more butter into our pan okay to help us create this amazing glaze all right so now once that gets hot and melty the first thing that you want to put down is garlic and like i said it's okay don't freak out if you can't find the garlic paste i just happen to have some here at the house so i'm going to use it okay and that's about a tablespoon all right so let's mix it in with those gorgeous seasonings that butter in that oil just like so and we're going to cook this for around about three to four minutes okay and after that happens i'm gonna come back and show you what we'll do next okay everyone so the garlic the butter the oil all those gorgeous flavors have cooked together for about four minutes and you really want to cook it take your time and let that garlic cook because you don't want a raw flavor in your glaze a raw garlic flavor in your glaze that is okay so we've put our my mouth is salivating right now so we put our honey in we're gonna give it a nice stir let me grab my soft spatula just like so so we can kind of whip everything all together in my house you would not believe the smell that's coming out of my house right now now this is being cooked on a medium heat you don't want to turn it up too high because you don't don't want to burn your sauce so now we're going to go in with some ketchup now when we talk about the ketchup you don't have to use the ketchup is highly suggested but you don't have to use it and it can still be successful and very tasty okay so we're going in with a tablespoon and a half of ketchup okay and that's going to give you a gorgeous color all right just like so get it well mixed in and then we're going to put our soy sauce in and we're going to bring this up to a slight boil and then we want it to reduce down once it reduces down it kind of gets really thick and absolutely amazing time for the soy sauce okay get you some in there bring it up to a boil like we said let it reduce down get nice and thick and it'll be a beautiful thick glaze that is unforgettable these flavors together is like heaven on your taste buds okay everyone remember i told you we wanted for our glaze to come up to a boil it came up to a boil and really quickly it starts to reduce down and get nice and thick look at that beautiful it's like magic in a pan so now what we're going to do we're going to take these amazing pork chops and you just nestle it right in there okay so now we're going to turn the heat down because at this point you do not want to burn your sauce okay and it's very easy to burn the sauce because the sauce has sugar in it which is you know your honey all right we're gonna let that simmer for just a little bit maybe three to four minutes and then we'll give it a nice flip and coat the other side when i come back i'm going to say an amazing prayer you all are going to get that first bite okay everyone so i let our pork chop simmer in the glaze for around about four minutes let's go in the pan and flip them oh man you better make you some gina young style if you are looking for an amazing really quick and simple honey glazed pork chop this is where you're gonna find it oh look at that i gotta get that one nestled down in there that's the last one that i put in what we'll do is we'll kind of lift this one up a little bit there we go so we can get nice and nestled oh listen
