[Music] serious ever since I made my YouTube channel the game I'd see viewers request in the comments more often than any other by far it's Hollow Knight I feel like I couldn't escape this game like no matter what I uploaded there would always be someone asking me to play Hollow Knight so after a while I finally did I just want to say one thing to everyone who pestered me over this game thank you so very much [Music] yeah this game is an absolute Masterpiece the art is gorgeous and stylized the soundtrack is gripping and emotional the protagonist is an absolute category five cutie pie this game stuck with me in a way that not a lot of other games have done if I were to hypothetically establish a class hierarchy among the video games I've played in my lifetime Hollow Knight would find itself among the noble Elite in a position of power but still eclipsed by the royalty that is Super Mario Sluggers and Food Network's cooker be cooked the Nintendo Wii now swirl the pan to spread the oil around evenly my journey through hollowness to split between 11 streams so I'll do a little check in after we reach the end of each one with some basic objectives so everyone stays on track anyway this video has been in the works for over five months and the best way to say thank you to my lovely editor who sunk hours upon hours into this project is to drop a like And subscribe to the channel pretty solid summary of my playthrough so I fire up the game and we meet our dashing protagonist help me play this game I've heard this game is pretty tough and I definitely had a tough time with the very first bug that just like walks forward slap the child slap him we did it it's not long before I face my next challenge challenge that will persist throughout the game suck at platforming it's fine though I'm too busy learning a new mechanic like Soul by striking enemies once enough Souls collected hold a oh I healed creatures look at my tiny head looking up at him talk dude I'm so cute such a cutie pretty quickly I run into this little map man and I get lost easily so buying a map is definitely a priority I'm gonna need some more cash first though do a little adventuring and then I come running back with my beans so I've got a map now oh that's gonna be super helpful I guess I want to find that that horn dude in the center so let's go let's go that way we could also just explore blindly and enjoy ourselves okay this rough fight prompted a bit of a realization I'm gonna be bad at this game are you friend friend or Foe oh foe oh shoot it doesn't have a you are here I feel like I'm in a mall in a foreign country and it's also Black Friday does that make sense rest oh I already have full it's fine oh oh tiny caterpillar man ah you're free my child oh there he goes oh hi oh my yeah oh did I kill him so this is the part that convinced a lot of people in chat that I lied about this being my first playthrough I can break this I guess stop it there we go oh now I have a larger ah larger place to I can't get back up oh okay that's fair thanks no I want to leave what that's lame so apparently I accidentally found like a speed run skip I didn't mean to I just saw the wall shake and I was like oh I hit it it made sense to my caveman brain at the time I shouldn't have hit the gate dude I saw it like crumble and I was like oh okay gate I'll hit the gate no I have to beat him I think I have to beat him it's a lot of it's a lot of Bones let's go in the purple door by your looking Grim a strange empty face and a wicked looking weapon what do you mean I'm a cutie I I will not stand for this maybe this whole place is a dead bug because the walls look like the inside of a bug this is incredibly obvious I don't know why I said it as if it was a theory I don't know if I trust this okay okay okay what oh my God so what happened am I dead Okay game over let's tap a to unleash the spirit spells will deplete Soul so now I have this super powerful spell don't worry I'll forget to use it for every key moment for the rest of the game I'm getting really good at this I got a charm Soul catcher equip a Charming to activate its powerful abilities watching you while you slept that's cool thanks for letting me know okay sounds good my chat lets me know that I should probably buy the compass because it shows where you are in the map and that is going to be crucial for not baby rage quitting purchase now I can find my spot on the map oh my God okay let's go back to the horned beetle place what is this have I not been here before Temple of the black egg well I don't know how I never noticed this was here because this is a huge structure I head back to false night to give him a real fight because I feel kind of bad about just ditching him okay so the jump is wait no come back but I love you greenpath introduces me to what is the most powerful enemy and that is the acid pools I just killed myself but that's neither here nor there I almost just did it again even with the acid pools Green Path has to be my favorite area in the game it's super pretty love the background and the music is so good also Watch Me Breath of the wild the [ __ ] out of this guy let's go owie okay a lot of spikes everywhere is what I've noticed about this game I'm dead that's awesome what the frick how do I how I can't see I grab a map as if it's gonna prevent me at all from killing myself again don't worry guys by the end of this we're gonna be like Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 levels of Mastery before you ask no I've never played Tony Hawk pro skater 3. oh that's the most fun way to kill these guys just bounce on them foreign wait let me know if I missed any of your favorite characters and I'll be sure to uh probably forget to read chat good work can I just like I didn't
