[Music] hey everybody how you doing this is about to be a really fun video out here today with this three-quarter-inch AR 500 target from big dong targets and we recently did a video with this piece of three-quarter-inch AR 500 to see if we could put holes in it and I'm here to tell you we literally just about brought out every single caliber we could get our hands on even some 50 BMG armor-piercing rounds and could not get them to go through but everybody commented you need some faster rounds so there were some rifles that we forgot to grab and a couple calibers that are known for being speedy rounds and that's what we brought out today some calibers that you guys suggested let me zoom in on these and give you a really quick quick look at these fast calibers that we didn't get to put in the last video to try to poke some holes through this 3/4 inch steel all right I'm gonna go starting with this direction and this is gonna be the order we shoot them in we've got a five seven here and then next we have a two two three and then we have a two to four Valkyrie and then on the end here we have a six five Creedmoor so five seven two two three two two four Valkyrie and six five Creedmoor let's go load them up see if we can put some holes through this three quarter inch ar500 before I forget to tell you here's the ammo we're shooting we got a 40 grain 5 7 of 55 grain 2 2 3 a 60 grain 2 2 4 Valkyrie and then what is that a hundred and twenty-five grain six five Creed war and here's what we're going to be flinging bullets out of with a five seven got a cm mg pistol lower five seven upper and the CMM g5 740 round conversion mags I got my cm mg five five six resolute then on loan from our buddy Ethan we have this two to four Valkyrie which I believe is an Anderson lower and for the six five Creedmoor we have my Ruger American or editor so check it out let's see if we can put some holes in some steel all right guys now I've got this camera on me and this other camera out here on the steel I'm gonna put the first one through the coronagraph so we can get an idea of the speed five seven we got a laser on here check that out but we got ten rounds in this five seven here shoot this first one through the through the chronograph and see what kind of reading we get 1880 feet per second on this 5/7 to see if we can put the rest on that steel I don't think we put a hole through it all right I'll tell you what let's run up to the target real quick and see if we put any holes in it with the five seven actually you know what I'm just gonna zoom this other camera because we can see from here and nope we definitely took the paint off but you can see where we hit it with the 50 BMG there on the bottom put a big dent but that 5/7 looks like it hardly even made any craters in it all right next got five five six is my C MMG five five six see what kind of speed we get out of one here almost three thousand twenty nine sixty nine feet per second and that one definitely shook it a lot more than the five seven let's put a couple more five five six on it all right now let's zoom in on it before I forget to tell you - uh-huh let's put some more five five six we can afford that America hook let's zoom in on that there like we did the other one all right so definitely got a little bit more craters there than we did on the five seven but no holes in it and it's also worth mentioning we're shooting this at 12 yards so this is not far away don't try this at home now let's get on to that two to four buckaroo and again a big thanks to our buddy Ethan this is that two to four Valkyrie sweet sweet rifle there's those rounds there I'm really interested to see what this does on the chronograph I don't have a slightest clue I don't know anything about this caliber 3197 ft/s so these are booking it [Applause] let's take a look and see what happened with that definitely got some hard hits on it but there's still no holes all the way through there but now we're gonna try the six five Creedmoor get my six five creep more damn this is my rigueur American predator and six five Creedmoor we've got some space on the left and the right side I'm gonna put the first one down the middle for the chronograph that I'm gonna try to hit those untouched spots there that two to four Valkyrie was almost 3200 feet per second see what this 65 is 2795 feet-per-second got that left yellow spot try to hit that a little bit open spot on the right there what let's uh let's go up close and take a little bit closer look at that piece of steel up there alright so take a good close look at that I had painted it before the video so you can tell exactly where we hit and this has been hit before but that's actually a 6-5 Creedmoor hit there on the edge we took a little bit of the edge off and then another 65 Creedmoor hit there which is barely even a dimple but even though we zipped those faster calibers that you guys suggested the 5 7 2 2 3 2 2 4 and the 6 5 Creedmoor we still don't have any holes in this piece of steel but as always appreciate you guys watching a big shout out and a big thanks to heavy metal you guys go check them out and subscribe to their channel don't forget to subscribe to the hootie-hoo channel if you haven't already comment down below something that you think might actually make a hole in this piece of steel will make it happen one of these videos [Music]
