Hikaru Plays 5D Chess For The First Time

one king and i take that king wait so  this is checkmate because what because   the rook is on okay so the rook the king cannot  why can't the king move to the g file though the   rook is never on the g file why can't the king  go to the g file this why can't they can go to   g7 here this is what i'm not understanding like  when i look at this position the rook is on h1   the rook is always on h1 so why can't  the king go to g7 in the final position   the king and the past can't move okay  let's see okay so the king of the past   can't move on the original square no but  on the original one come up one square i get why you can't go the  other two squares but can still go up one square   so yeah we're taking that king we win no you're  not taking that king what am i missing here i   don't
