Helldivers 2- How to Fix Launch Crash on Steam / PC

hey everybody Eric here from the MMG Welcome to our Channel don't forget to hit that subscribe button help us keep making these videos for you today we're talking hell divers bought this game super excited every time I would hit play on Steam it would just it it would just wouldn't load it would come back it would say it was trying to load and then it would crash back to the play button no error messages or anything I validated my files I didn't do anything so then what I did was I went to the hell divers 2 right clicked on it here in Steam I went manage I went to browse local files this is going to pop up a folder where your held held driver two files are just like this now the first thing I read some troubleshooting steps was to go into tools here and uninstall this GG uninstaller.exe so run this I I heard that helped some people it did not fix it for me you may try that as a first step then what I what I tried after that was I validated my files again I think I uninstalled and reinstalled at some point still didn't work same RoR so next I went up to Ben and I found this uh H held drivers 2.exe and I actually ran it as an admin from here and what that did is that gave me an air message it said it was missing a dll file which led me onto the path of solving my problem so what I did was I looked up that dll which happened to be this dll right here msvcr110.dll and I found that that end up being a visual C++ the the visual Studios now first thing I did was I download the latest update of visual Studios which was like a I think a 2022 version or something it had me reboot my machine still didn't fix it so I went looking for this file specifically and I found that it's actually part of the visual Studios 2012 update 4 here and so I came here and I'll put this link in the video description so don't worry I'll put it in there and I downloaded this when you when you get the download options you're going to get three options most of you are going to want the 64-bit version right here you're running a 32-bit Os Oh my God please update but this will be the version you want I don't even know if you can play hell divers in 32-bit probably can't but there's a 32-bit version Let download the 64-bit version I think for almost everybody hit the download button you go to wherever your downloads go execute it and what mine did when I ran it and I'll just show you real quick mine popped up as a repair uninstall or close I did the repair option and then once it was done it closed itself and then my hell drivers worked and it worked perfectly just like normal no issues so hopefully that'll fix your issues with hell driver like it did for me this video helped you out don't forget to give it a thumbs up consider joining our Channel support us and make sure you hit that follow button for more great content have yourself a great day
