Fix Helldivers 2 Crashing on Startup

hi guys and welcome to game trailers and guides today I'll show you how to fix hell divers to crashing at startup issue I have been personally having this issue and what worked for me was to disable the steam input here's how you can do it open Steam and go to library right click on H divers 2 then properties and go into controller over here you'll see the controller settings so by default you'll find that Ed default settings will be set for you I want you to change it to disable steam input once the steam input is disabled your gamees should run fine if this fix didn't work for you the next next thing I want you to try is to run the game in compatibility mode and disable full screen optimization for this open the steam client again then go to library H ders to properties and then in installed files then browse the game files once the game files opens up go into bin find find the game executable that is held divers to this file right click on it properties then go into compatibility check run this program in compatibility mode for set it to Windows 8 and ensure that full screen optimization is disabled now click apply okay and try to run the game so the next fix you can try is to set an exception for the game folder in your Windows Firewall for this press Windows key plus I to open the settings then go to privacy and security Windows security and then open firewall and network protection you'll see an option over here allow an app through firewall click on it then click on change settings then click on allow another app now browse the file go to this PC go go into see this is the default location program files into 86 then look for Steam open Steam then go into steam apps then common then look for h ders 2 open the bin folder and then click on the executable open it add the executable so I have already added it so it's saying that it's already added you add it and save it once you do this then the game should work if the game still fails to work then delete the game guard folder don't worry if you delete the game guard folder and when you launch the game the game will automatically redownload the game guard folder and it should work so for this again go to properties install files browse delete this folder Now launch the game as you can see it's downloading the game God folder again once it's done the game should launch fine so that's it guys thank you for watching if the video help please like And subscribe
