Hammering a hole for a shipping container pool

[Music] so [Music] so [Music] [Music] all right i'm on this job here today the plan is to do a little bit of digging for a new swimming pool so the guy's adding a deck off this building and a shipping container swimming pool right here so the plan is i gotta pop all these stumps out and that's where the pool is going and we have the i need to be down 123 inches from that point for that whole area and they're pouring a slab under it i need to be 10 and a half feet by 34 feet so that's it marked out let's start popping these stumps and then start digging and i'm probably gonna need my hammer but [Applause] [Music] so [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] all right check this guy had this scooter sitting here i'm like let me try this thing as i was just riding it look at this this thing's awesome cody what am i on what's this what is this what is let's this if i'm as fast as cody [Music] look at this i love how it's silent cody let's race oh cody's fast i'm beating you buddy i'm beating you this is hilarious love how quiet it is yeah look at this this is a puppy yeah really that's cute really what a nice looking dog hey this guy's still i mean he's a year he's coming up on two so he's still pretty young [Music] [Music] uh [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] so [Music] okay [Music] oh wow [Music] [Music] the idea here is the guy wants to change the location of the driveway so i'm going to use this material spread it out [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] do [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] uh [Applause] so shhh [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so foreign [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] all right well i finished digging that out so it's within a couple inches over the whole thing for the whole area that needs to be dug out so the next step the mason's gonna be coming in put down a fine bed of gravel to get things perfect and form out a slab for this pool [Music] stay here just picking on my machine i dropped these two trees a few days later all those trees are down neon mars at another job dude they got these stumps [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] look at this buck right here eating acorns [Music] [Music] uh [Applause] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] ah [Applause] oh [Music] [Music] so oh [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] all right well that's all done so i'll come and touch that up with a rake but um but yeah the guy just wanted his driveway moved so now it's here all right here is the slab the mason poured well i was just asked to uh check it for level cody how's that slab look so this front edge here the waterfall edge is the most important let's see okay so there you right there so we're 0.4 let's go all the way to the edge all right point point four down closer to the middle point five down a point there's a bump right there i mean it's like we're dealing with fractions of an inch you can see like right right there or it's that much of a difference in right there point three down that's about the same as down there point four down all right so to me that looks like that's within two tenths of an inch which it's about as good as you're gonna get it but the water in the pool will certainly tell us [Music] [Music] [Applause] foreign [Applause] [Music] [Applause] yes [Applause] i'm talking [Music] [Applause] are we looking good [Applause] [Music] all right here we are a few weeks later and this is what they did so they built this nice deck around it new stairs and they got it all closed up for the winter unfortunately i was gonna wait for a finish shot of this thing with the waterfall and the infinity edge that would be like five months so what i'll do i'll put a link in the description for a shot of this thing all up and running but you know it's got that glass edge the water water falls off of it so when you are down in the pool you can see this view right here with the infinity edge looking into you know the forest left the stream down there real pretty they got the hot tub over here and this is like the utility room well that was certainly interesting project just check this again in five months for the video of this all up and running but um you know i'm sure it's gonna be nice [Music] [Music] you

I thought that shipping containers collapse if you bury them due to not having any lateral strength (and certainly less if you cut the top off)
