Greg Missed The Iron Bowl & Bully Gets Hurt

looking back over the the Thanksgiving weekend a lot was going on of course in the sports world we talked about a little bit today this incredible Auburn Alabama finished number one versus number four and and for the rest of you across the country it's almost like you know the door was open for all of you to look in to what goes on in this state involving this rivalry and everybody this is one of those there's been several of them over the years this may be a lot of people think maybe the the biggest one of them all but there's been some some great ones and a lot of people are calling the greatest finish of any sporting event now we're gonna that's not by luck here why don't we let some of the next right well that's the but that's the torts alone that's the culture we now live in and that's fine but but let's just at least talk about it was an incredible finish and it'll go down in the Iron Bowl with the punt blocked punts and all that it'll be one of the end of it yeah I mean we're trying to pretend like that in the 70s all burn blocking two punts in a row and scoring on both of them was not it's pretty bizarre yeah that's pretty bizarre but anyway hey yeah they showed that on the big screen several times during the game by the way but anyway it's your time out here but but Greg you you were use almost like you didn't want to it's almost like you didn't want to tell us cuz this is one of those I remember where I was deals especially in this state and you know let's don't forget the entire game was really good one against four and it lived up so I don't always happen you know first half I don't miss a play and it's just a great game and we go to halftime and you you always got that one commode in your house that you're always dealing with gives you problem so I had one there's halftime I said well I gotta go check on that commode they sposa clogged up whatever upstairs so go prayer and I hit the handle real quick to make sure it's really clogged in how you did well it is well I run out cuz I'm trying to hurry you know and I'm looking for more fun I'm looking for my plunger well that one's bad about the flapper hanging on it not of the flapper hung which means the water still running okay this is upstairs it's halftime I've just watched outstanding half of football fired up I'm in the garage I said here comes Lisa screaming water is coming through the light fixture what yes I flooded the bathroom upstairs just running oh there's a smoke alarm my first thought was this is bad but now I'm screw my ballgame up then okay so I'm but I'm sopping up just it was a mess I'm ripping up carpet trying to hurry to otherwise trying to hurt then I get in because hey first of all say she was happy about it yes I did it then I get in trouble because I'm watching the iron most of the cleaning up get screamed out back off between mopping trying to get a look Sue's haven't get screamed at for that didn't know it though I turned the TV on upstairs though so I could run to it and didn't go back to the bathroom yeah right now no guys you know have water that's ain't good it was dripping in the closet through the line it was bad but anyway so I survived that and you kind of run my game I saw okay I missed the first drive of the second half when Oliver scored didn't know how that happened TiVo this or DVR'd it I don't know anyway so great I get through it and I'm fine so I'm watching and I get to see most of it I see the big nine yard touchdown pass everything's coming down well see I'm going to watch the Jacksonville State in Sanford in the first round of the FCS playoffs a real a real plan a real play off the jacks they play for and by the way Jax will stay destroyed how yes I mean spanked Sanford like it was not I mean I thought it'd be a close game everybody did but I mean they just killed 55 to seven yeah and in just a masker but anyway so I'm gonna leave to go to the game anyway okay i'ma leave I knew that I was going to listen to the Auburn Alabama game on my way to the jack State game okay so I get there now and I hear over and drive down to score and tie it up well that they Alabama gets it they run it Yeldon and they say well we're going to overtime that's what they say and we go to commercial I look at least I said well I ain't gonna sit out here why don't overtime missed the star the game cuz you know how over town we got officially not the second we gotta flip a coin we got I did it so I get out of the car if I just waited one minute I never hear them put the second back on the clock I never hear that I'm walking in the stadium I see people and they're going nuts and I'm going what I said there's no way over times even started yet miss the entire thing great Virgen egg yes who when you walk in the stadium is the first person you see and what do they tell you and what I hear two strangers over it somebody yelled a the over and warning there Kim I'm going that no way there's no way they started over time and ain't no way they've had two possessions yet and then I start salmon I start yelling how long to take you to put it all together well then I start getting text and then I'm like in my nephew I'm like what happened there's no way and he said he told me so well there that explains it they put I said well evidently they put a second back on the clock so I missed it sopping up water what is wrong with you but the Gamecocks look good so I went in and that well yes it was they just was there a side of you you're thinking big matchup two schools that have been rivals playoffs conference champion versus an at-large beer a big game and then your eyes it's fifty five seven you really probably could have stayed and listened to and not miss don't look yeah especially was thirty eight nothing a half time it was it uh yeah your ride we were very surprising that Jackson was gonna play in the second round they got to go to Lake Charles to play makes McNeese State next Saturday so that's exciting but yeah the greatest iron bow ever and I was content with missing overtime I said look if it's overtime I'm not gonna sit out here and then rush in but you could I'll find out who won but I didn't just miss I miss one of the most miraculous endings in the history of the iron bow that's right if I'd awaited just like me a commercial break just a commercial break come because they said we're going to overtime I said I ain't sitting out here doing you know how or time Dre yeah we got a pic what side we want to go on we got to do all that and I saw you doing that what is so funny when I start getting text messages and I know you're the same way from Los Angeles yeah from Hawaii from people traveling in Europe that's watching and they go hey we see your face behind Desmond Howard we see your head behind Charles Barkley that is too well so that was creative it got you past security and got us on prominently how did the head come up out of the yes Greg sorry that's you had to and all of a sudden that's talent that's before Greg flooded details you got see game day just not the game so then then the other was we have an intern that is now the face of this historic for look I'm watching the game at home I'm watching the game at home okay and we've got we got it we got our wings like we like it we got over snags we all this going on we got here we got summer sausage and crackers and all of a sudden you we bring something by the way I've got some room yeah yeah well yeah so anyway so the room is going absolute bananas over what we've just seen okay and all of a sudden the first shot they show of an Alabama fans response to this wait the game in it was one of our former interns ribbit he was here Wednesday Wednesday yeah oh my big screen I'm looking at red X face I said my gosh that's one of our interns on the on the broadcast a trick to add to my confusion when I didn't know what happened when I see the game's over and I know it hadn't been overtime yet I start getting texts from y'all with red X oh no I open it there's red X yeah and it shows the scores I go what a former intern red X is now known for this historic game as the agony of defeat yeah that's weird so we got that look on his face like can you return right and I can't believe that just happened I don't know another weird thing from the weekend and there's so many another weird thing from the weekend is at the Egg Bowl Ole Miss versus Mississippi State great game bully the mascot is hit by an ESPN cart and gets car D with the compound fracture and never comes out of character yet never cut this has got a compound fracture take the head off this well you know it's so good it's so cold it's probably warmer in there but yeah yeah now one thing I got to give it to the female that was inside the massing that you think oh this just one yeah and of course they didn't but but I'm sitting here and I'm watching this and you've got the ESPN TV cart that rolls up and down the sidelines I'm surprised more people don't don't get given a flaw but yeah well there's supposed to be a get back person but I don't know what happened like a jump and I said the biggest dog I've ever seen is gonna hit my car yeah and so so where I'm sitting what I'm sitting there saying we don't know it's bully somebody behind me starts start saying hey somebody just got here by the TV how many giant dogs are the only sideline yeah you can't see from where we are you can't see who's laying there you just see medical personnel trying to take care of somebody right now all of a sudden here comes a stretcher being wheel that's a giant dog Bubba from where we're sitting we're not in the box see that shot of him on the stretcher now was a very it's a hurt I think at this point they could take the head off the mass I do take you're on a strict believe the commitment to the integrity of the mascot yeah that is unbelievable dedication give it to Lake horse hours up your first sight inside of when you notice it was the body that's what I was trying to say is it I didn't know until they're on the bullies on the stretcher with an air passed over his Paul Bley look they've got the air cast over over the mascot in the air cast and and little do we know is a compound fracture now Thursday night surgeries already Thursday night and Friday it's that without a break and I still kept the head oh yeah and look here's what so here's what's so funny so the match so bullies being carted out and look and here's the mascot on the white going complete mascot okay real bad they ought to get a mascot trophy because she stayed in character yeah animated like heads a hands over the polls I mean over the mouth minute look if I've got a compound fracture get me out of this bulldog breathe
