Great Dyno Day For The Turbo Hatch @3:16Speed !

oh man so i brought my truck over here to billy so he can take this damn cage off my truck he's over here pulling up no problem guy pulling out the big boy tools ah separate this is not plugged in man i thought you were ready dude if there's something that needs to be cut off or chainsawed or sawzalled or any kind of saw this is where you got to bring it to billy i get it done you know how to use up everyone and welcome back to another episode i hope you guys are having a good week so far it is hump day so if you're not having a good week just know the weekend's coming up real soon uh today we are going to be dynoing ricky's hatch i have to put this car down roll it back some so i could try to fish it through here um and then we'll get it on the trailer and we're heading to 316 speed to use their dyno cmb is tuning it so our appointment is coming up here in a couple hours um a little update on the subaru i did order all the parts that i needed for the engine i got some valve cover gaskets for your main seal new clutch flywheel a couple other things for it coming it should be here tomorrow or friday so that'll be here soon then we can get this car back up and running but today we're going to focus on getting the hatch right i know i said i wanted to get both of these hatches done in the same day but they had one opening um unfortunately they didn't have time to tune this one so we will be getting this one tuned probably here by the end of the week or next week so no rush on it we're gonna get that one sorted out as well um so let's get this thing loaded up and also a little update on the shop truck uh yesterday i took the cage off the back i've been actually driving it for the last couple days because the civic uh the front driver's side caliper is locking up i noticed it because of the wheel or the rotor and all everything under there was getting super hot and i put up on a jack stand pump the brakes a few times let go of them and try to spin the wheel and i couldn't so i ended up buying new calipers two new calipers brake pads new rotors so i have to get to that soon but anyways what i was getting to was that since this broke down i started working on a truck again i bought a new battery for it and it was doing some weird issue to where like it wouldn't start um sometimes like you would turn the key and nothing would happen and i was messing around with this wire right here and i noticed like me pulling on it or wiggling it it was sometimes it would help it but it was like it was weird because it wasn't consistent so i wasn't sure like what was going on or if it was some wiring issues long story short i replaced a few things um the ac the fan wasn't working like this issue was causing a lot of different random things to happen uh and i was over here tugging on this wire after i put the battery in it and you know i had the key position forward and it would start and it was like i didn't know what it was i started shaking everything around and i was pulling on and it turned the truck off well i noticed that this plug right here i think the clip is broken but this plug was like sitting like this it wasn't all the way plugged in and that was causing every issue that i had with this truck so once i saw that move and i actually just pushed it back in all the way all my issues went away and um you know after i fixed that then i went ahead and changed the injector because i changed everything else and it was having a misfire coil spark plug spark plug wires all that it was still misfiring so i figured it was the injector um i went ahead and ordered some injectors last week so i had them already sitting here i just didn't want to put them in because i was having this other issue but since i fixed that i ended up replacing the injectors and now we have no misfire so she's a good daily ac everything works in it there's still a few things i want to do to it i want to find a new dashboard change the headliner out and uh yeah i really been thinking about turbo in this truck just putting like a real cheap uh turbo kit on it but i'm not gonna get to that anytime soon you know my focus is on getting the blue car done and then we're gonna be rolling in hondura over here and we're going to start attacking that but uh yeah just a little update on this all right so we're getting the mickey thompson's back in the front is the ones that kyle had at his house ricky wouldn't pick them up so we're gonna put those in the front and then we're gonna go ahead and put these in the rear [Music] oh perfect [Music] all right last time we went to the diner it was raining too bro okay last time we took the black hatch to the dyno was raining oh yeah i know it's a little raining again man though all right got that supreme umbrella thank you jenna ricky got the rain jacket on dick [Music] there's only a little bit left in that five gallon so we're gonna go ahead and top her off and then we're gonna go pick up some extra fuel here in a little bit me [Music] man had to stop by united speed world to get some fuel you know the deal yeah so uh the other guy that's dynoing today it's um one of our buddies friends so we're picking up some fuel for him too and then that's for us we also had to get one of these clamps because this stud broke you just grab one m5 i got the other one thanks m5 one yep thank you you too man that's what we need baby one day just pulled up about to uh unload her and bring her inside damn got a nail yeah she's gonna be flat bro get the car off real quick and then we're gonna have to patch that up that sucks [Music] oops left the condom on there [Music] [Music] daily and they got all the nice cars in the shop i haven't been here in a while it's been some months jesus look at these cars so he had to reverse it in to get it onto the dyno [Music] so [Music] uh yeah the tabs on the light finally broke all the way off so we're gonna have to get that fixed did you build this one more than likely wrap it up so so so [Applause] so so it blew some water out of there i don't know if it's getting pressure or not huh all right so there was some water pushing through this cap this cap's not rated for a lot of pressure so we're gonna go change that real quick so we can make some more pulls all right so we found a 20 psi one instead of the 15 that we had so hopefully that'll work [Music] [Music] hmm yeah it held did good that time so we're not tuning for numbers he's just trying to get the car right right now um colombia doesn't really tune for numbers he just as long as he's doing what he wants it to do on the dyno then we're going to tune it either on the street or the track uh we'll dial it in that way the car is sounding great right now so i know he's close um to being finished up here he's only made what like three four pulls but yeah man the motor sounds great which one feels looks better the last morning that's what he wanted to hear [Music] so it's making 26 pounds of boost he said it'll be good all the way up to like 33 um pounds you know which this turbo can only go for like 32 33 anyways um he's guessing that it's making around 700 i'm happy with it sounded great he's happy with it she's back bro your car just makes this sound man i don't know it sounds so good it sinks yeah yeah it does it sings it's exactly the words all right get it off rick oh that's a wrap what was that five pulls and done really easy [Music] drew's in there wiring up the wide band because it wasn't reading and i think we're going to load her up and go get some hooters
