I can't decide what would be the best big screen thing for them to display the Dyno graph... A tv on the office wall, something on a cart, both, neither? Maybe two tvs side by side as one giant display on the wall?

so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so we just got the mr2 all loaded up and right now we are getting ready to head over to cletus's shop they just got a brand new dyno installed and i don't think he's had any high horsepower cars on the dyno yet so we might be able to take the dyno record over at the mcfarland shop until they put a higher horsepower car on there obviously but i'm also curious to see what the mr2 is making on the seven second tune-up which it is still on it made 52 psi when we ran that 7-9 so i think it would be pretty cool to see and uh go take a look at cletus's shop and everything so we're gonna head on down get this thing on the dyno make a little bit of power today because we still gotta upgrade that cage so we're not gonna be racing it just yet so [Music] so i don't know i think you can go down as hard as you you like they shouldn't oh they might rub once we get into some power there well these ones will hold it right here we can crash loose a little bit yeah these aren't as important because these are actually pulling the chassis down the whole body down but as long as these are going to the control arms we should be all right these will be the secondaries in case it tries to run away man i mean you got a good good deal we got it good just good gap in front around so if it does break off you just load it up yeah and then we're done have white in the driver's seat of the dodge ready to go all right get out hold the door up bro oh shoot we are strapped down this will be the first time this thing's been dyno on this setup with the tires on i mean we only downed it once at fuel tech and that was on the hub dyno 1100 it did 1106 on slightly less boost yeah and i don't know what kind of correction factors we were playing with over there so be interesting to see what it does on here guys dyno down here on the rollers how many rips this thing had on it this dino i think we made seven seven i seen donny was on there that's it oh just donnie yeah like seven holes with it get the tune up a little bit more better than it was but motor's back here bud motors back here same with the radio it's all in the back so this thing hasn't seen over a thousand yet no it's seen 600 and change so okay i'll break her in a little bit we're talking about that dad didn't tell you but i was like man i should just bring the nova so when he rolls off i just roll on and make one rip and show him what american power is about to make close to what the novel is about to see what the little spicy four cylinder with vtec can do see what vtec can do dude i'm a fan i'm not gonna lie four cylinder guy at heart yeah mr sr20 over there you still gotta get that thing together it's in there apart are you working on her oh yeah little 240 motor yeah it's gonna be in another 240. i know i seen you posted and some people are like where'd that thing come from yeah so we'll see we are ready to go i like how you guys put it into the ground it's a small roller you could barely feel it rolling on there that and you got everything on this unit now everything but back there he's censored up check out that e-gate i see that i might be putting two of those on the 240 round two nice they work so good you put the boost exactly what you want when you want it and it finds it on it it'll keep it right there that's awesome it's so nice look at all this technology you have no more drilling holes no more vacuum tees for more boost leaks yeah yeah no it's just calculated boost it's great yeah we want to turn it up at the track we just drill a couple holes in the line man think of where you come from yeah the old days of putting in teas with holes in them and now you got an electronic control the wastegate the the leading edge and boost control tech on this thing now oh you go ahead warmer up and start cruising her we'll get it rolling check straps then we'll cruise it and set the uh this dyno com has a deal where you can set it to where it starts you don't need for rpm lead you don't need uh taxing or nothing like that don't just do it off rpm off calculation cool so we'll set that so it works and then whenever you're ready to rip it you can rip it after that nice right off this even got a carbon fiber hinge right before yeah we actually just put that on yeah a carbon fiber hinge to match the carbon fiber trunk it's from hux racing just think you still got the glass t-tops in this you know dude imagine you put a carbon panel in there yeah carbon tops like sand she still has a ways to go first order of business is get a hoop around the driver yeah because she's going quick let's get this thing rolling yeah so [Music] [Music] so we had to borrow james laptop to change a couple things uh right now the car was set up to have boost control based off a validated launch which it needs to see a two-step and a take-off to enable the boost control obviously we're not launching it on the dyno so we just plugged into it turned all that stuff off and now it's just set to a set psi that we desired and we set it to 53 psi and yeah now we should be good to go and try again and uh see what happens here give her a full sweep if she feels good let her eat yep gonna watch the wide band make sure she's not going lean or anything and hopefully she throws down some power cracks that detect that doesn't exist i better hear some v-tech detect all the time baby yes like what right here yeah yeah exactly equalized air pressure you see i got it over here yep [Music] so all right not bad a little lower but not bad almost 70 mile an hour on this yeah [Music] buddy she was smoking the tire a little bit yeah i think it was either spinning or rubbing i think it was rubbing it made 1063. 10.63 so right at 8 900. with the 1063 and 664 foot pounds of target 8 000 rpm yep so i don't know it's a little bit lower so i don't know if it's just less slippery dyno than a fuel tank yeah put it just the entire slip i don't know well the thing with the hub guys you don't have although you set it on the hub you set what the tire size would be for to calculate right you don't have the parasitic or long it doesn't have to be broken that tire hit your yeah it's straightened up yeah it's straightened up pretty good not bad 10 63. check the log too yeah just make sure she's good yeah i let out i pulled early though i let out about ten thousand yeah what did this thing say for eleven hundred and sixty six mile an hour yeah when it went to seven it did one eighty one so yeah yeah definitely let out let's see it's right now [Music] still just in case you won't get froggy well it made the power at right on 99 8900 yeah right i think sucks down in there so hard yeah right about 65 it starts to come up feel that curve come in yeah and there it feels like really good that's actually a little rich that's good a little a little more on the table there yeah but i don't say it's still conservative timing it's probably like 15 degrees of timing and yeah it sounds really good it sounds really clean through the hole doesn't it anything crazy yep nice well it's just a thousand horsepower there you go the record right now for real honda let's get the scoreboard out put us up very top white board right there yep cool let's look at the log see what she did for everybody who's got the flavor oh getting it all iced up oh that is nice and cold get this thing down to like 40 50 degrees maybe we'll give it a nice power we're going to get the nice pre-chill going then we're going to ice or tight for the pull i heard you uh hit the up arrow a couple times in there yeah we raised the boost even more that's what i liked we got it we got to beat our dino record we got to go over 1106. we got to do it on the chat so we just did 10.60 something but we also didn't chill it we were really just trying to test the dyno parameters making sure everything was working right i let out pretty early it's still a spicy rip but now we're actually prepping for some power and yeah we just want to break our dyno record also make sure the car is good you know at higher boost levels before we end up taking it to the track one day also i'm double checking some issues we had with the mechanical pump if you guys remember the seven second video the car shut off and we had some issues with the pump not wanting to re-prime and we actually had to take the pump back off prime it by hand and then it was fine i want to make sure that there's nothing wrong with the pump on the pool we just did everything seems to be good but i have heard of some issues with the pumps innards uh kind of wearing out so i want to make sure fuel pressure is looking good and everything so it is nice that we have the car on the dyno just to go over some things after the seven second run even though we're really just here to kind of make some power and uh test out their new dyno but it's good to give her a once-over but we're prepping her to go again here and i think this next one's going to be pretty spicy what do we set it to 60 did we send it 60 pounds put up a number see what she does 60 pounds of boost this one should definitely beat the record right here that intercooler is nice and cool so put the rest of the ice in that thing and i think we're ready to make a pull packard side icer down yeah only one thing that can happen i'll make more power i mean i mean there's another option that happens oh it's all it's going to do as long as you don't get in that driver's seat you might hold together call you in there let you give it a rip down the street real quick yeah the time it came apart we'll push it back to the shop and then wag will be sitting there like you too yeah sorry wago redeemed herself yeah we stayed together in colorado [Music] i'm not sure what the mr2 dyno record is i believe it's somewhere in the 1200s um you know we'll see what she does here it's definitely going to be spicy i'm hoping for like 11 50 and up should be about there maybe it might touch 12 i don't know that would be freaking nuts if we could touch 1200 in this thing on a chassis dyno like this so yeah got our iced up everything is working properly set her to 60 psi and we're going to send it fire suit going on we safety first we turned her about about all the way up i mean there might be a little more after this right it probably has a solid like 65 pounds in it peak maybe a little more but 60 psi like that's that's this is full full tilt on the mr2 yeah so i guess it's a good thing to see if it will hold on the dyno then coming apart at the track yeah which it should hold we should be good hey jbr says that motor is good for everything this turbo is good for about 60 60 so that turbo can be maxed and we don't got to worry about the motor so we're gonna put that to the test right quick oh look how chill that ice box is yeah we might want to wipe that it might suck some of that water it's all right a little more yep there you go actually inherent design okay that was fourth spot oh yeah it feels like a big ice cube yeah condensation on that thing that's just with the residual water in it right now cool big words residual oh my god here we go scientific baby so so buddy you please tell me bye [Music] all the settings are the same but for some reason auto zoom just didn't start some reason we lost this screen did you get it no i don't think it logged it dude that one was that was spicy it was a clean rip too i don't know what happened here but it's uh it's like froze up or something everything's working but it's screaming maybe we broke we broke their dino already too much power yes all the sauce our scientists that we have here hey bucko dude that came on way harder dude what happened was he first hit the button it went back to the yeah went to like the after screen where the graph would have been it's like it was in a run and then you stopped it when you first shipped it so then when you hit it again it went back to this and then we started the run and then you stopped to run like like it was supposed to went back to the other screen but for some reason we don't have any gauges so it didn't log anything yeah dang dude like the brakes working i can hear it yeah all right we made another rip turned up that had to be at least 100 horsepower more but we had an issue with the dyno it did not read that time so we've been letting the car cool off we re-iced it we're gonna do it one more time exactly how we just did and yeah that was that was spicy i took her all the way to limiter we read 185 miles an hour so he was going this thing sounded so freaking hot yeah it sounded so good in the car too and it ran through the rpm so much faster being in the car it did not take nearly as long to get the dyno up to speed it took right off so there was definitely some more ponies being made hopefully that's the last one yeah hopefully we'll do one more and be done because it's a little nerve-wracking running it this hard but it's also good to make sure that it can handle it but hopefully we get a good measurement this time and see what she's making cranked all the way up hoping for 1200 baby so um [Music] which is a little lower i don't get that making less yeah look at her she little yeah she had kind of a bit of a little falloff on top it still sounded more spicy though it definitely sounded like it came in a lot yeah yeah i don't know i have to look at the lava yeah it definitely sounds it sounded a lot more rowdy sounds steamy i don't know take a look at it though the fuel tank tells you yep so we did make a little more power on that one but not quite what we were looking for i almost feel like because if you look at the graph when i pull it back up it falls off really hard not like the other one at all sorry we were looking at speed and stuff because we were trying to see zoom out here if it had anything to do with the mile an hour so this is like not in power this is on speed right here so we can change that to uh power so it fell off hard the other graph carried much flatter and i'm almost wondering if we might be running out of clutch because i was on the brakes pretty good to slow the dyno down some as well as the dyno braking but i could smell either brakes or clutch kind of smell so there is a chance the clutch might be starting to slip because we have put this thing through a lot of abuse this is the same triple disc that i put in the car when the build first started you know over a couple years ago and it is definitely time to get a new clutch in this thing because even when we first put the car together we did not have much material left on the disc we were starting to run her pretty thin and i think we might be at the edge of the clutch right now i'm not 100 sure but it would make sense because the power dropped off much harder than before it actually held the boost better across the board on that one and it came way down on power and the car sounds healthy and everything's good so that would make sense so something to think about i think we're going to call it there and we'll probably pull that apart and take a look at the clutch while the car has to be down anyways to upgrade the roll cage was hoping for some more power today but that's where she's going to stay for right now i hate with chassis dinos man they're always they're always the heartbreakers it's pretty solid still i mean damn near 1100 horsepower yeah she's still throwing down 1100 wheel yeah can't complain about that first time this dyno seen a thousand horsepower and we did it a couple times so everything other than that is looking good well it smells good smells good it sounds the way it did when we loaded it up before we got here yeah she didn't break we didn't make a record horsepower number but you know she's still running healthy all right guys just wrapping up this video our camera kind of died while we were over at cletus's shop got the mr2 back over here and i was talking to a couple friends and uh some of the guys i'm talking to are convinced it is just a tire spin there were a couple videos on the dyno where you could see some smoke coming out from under the tires so it's either that or the clutch like we were talking about either way we'll still probably double check the clutch uh while the car is gonna be down doing the cage anyways regardless we've seen what this thing can do at the track so she speaks for herself and we set a new dino record over at uh cletus's shop on the new dyno so that's gonna
