Graham Norton Visits Downton Abbey!

who you get confused as well not the buck Walberg but who do you get confused well in the old days when I had cheekbones it was Colin Firth and then and then latterly Paul Burrell the former [Applause] [Music] who that is we know it's funny we don't know who they all that you're lucky no Diana's Butler or something who's the Butler is that one of those things where you thought you were famous till you were in Downton no I didn't think that at all it's every since Downton that people seem to know you know who who stopped me and announcement but it's only since Downton and that's that's television for you yes it's common I was I was in waitress in stories in my favorite little boy was at the checkout with his mother and he kept looking at me and I thought what am I gonna do about and he won't kept looking at me and looking at me and I said okay can I help you and he said it's all right it'll come to me in a minute [Music] [Laughter] did you watch Downton before no my wife is an addict and by addict I mean like a crack addict and it's like a problem we were supposed to start the show together and I came to bed one night and she said I've just watched six of them and she was like she's done the whole thing and I'm and I'm on my own because I love you but I'm gonna have to find time somehow to do that amazing for kids have you ever seen it bill dr. Davi no I'm just slow I have a lot of like I'm really slow cleaning up my room and getting dressed and everything miss Lee shows look forward to getting like a serious flu or something like that the entire set and watch the whole thing because he seems like the greatest guy seems like a great guy it's a very it's a very good job it's a cure it's one of those weird things it's too convincing like I'm sort of on the fringes of this energy I meet actors on the show but when I see the Downton cast on a red carpet and there it's the servants I always think I wasn't that lovely this is back for she bargained dress in the morning where's he there going where's my kid jury you know I thought that was a the evening purse no no it's soda bread I made it today I made it this morning and it's Irish my hand and I was there as Irish and Irish and I just look right I'm cutting you a quarter of that and that's you I'll just check that it is soda bread because it looks like a giant drug dealer this we smuggled it in plain sight well that brings up my cue greaseproof and everything very very nice whatever that is this week I've never made it before the people coming up to you now like a very Americans are very well America you know they're not shy Americans no but I don't go anywhere really where they can't get at me it's usually in museums and art galleries and things so that limits things I keep away from there and Harrods I don't go new so are you in a ways I'm glad that fountains over oh yeah no because she honestly she was about by the time of her she must have been 110 [Laughter] okay one second okay okay I think it's time for tea [Applause] [Music] [Applause] people were focused on the jumper people look at earnest be wearing lipstick on top here [Applause] the glasses I can't see that's me you're wearing lipstick I'm not wearing this look what it does look like it was a very cold day well I'm entry time here just say that I was not wearing lipstick I've got the box set no I know but I said only I was allowed to worse at a deep red thanks for sending the memo to everybody but me yeah it's weird I've never seen this color and now I see it on three men at one husband in that show 1982 Guys and Dolls I was the smallest he was the tallest yeah so we um we got together then it was just fantastic and breaking all showbiz moles still together lovely holiday yeah and a lot of people know him as of course Carson Stanton did your life now totally it's been fantastic but when you went on holiday presumably you can't get away from that well we thought we had and we went to New Zealand last year for five weeks done in OMA rules and and people recognized us in sin you could we take a picture yes okay we did that in the restaurant and we made it to the Oh tego times the front page but we were knocked off that main we were down the bottom with you know nice people from England er here we were knocked off by triplets happy to go back to school [Laughter] okay who's up next hi from where Sussex are you hi I just like to say that I think Matt Damon is really amazing in the fourth [Applause]
