Lilo and today we're talking about why gone versus kilua is obvious stay steady in pursuit of your dreams and goals you're born to win you're made for greatness and I definitely believe in you guys keep up the great work each and every day so gone versus kilua is a battle between two best friend friends who grow together as sparring partners and competitive rivals in the Journey of becoming powerful Hunters today we're going to analyze every single PowerUp that these two characters receive at every major arc of the series to compare the two characters to find out who is overall truly more powerful than who and to wrap the video up we'll talk about possible powerups go and kilo would be most likely to receive in the unfinished Ark of the Dark Continent the Hunter exams is an elite super Tournament of survival where less than 0.1% of applicants actually successfully complete the exams and a large percentage of the failures die due to the challenge of the examination becoming a licensed professional Hunter is a guarantee to wealth Fame and complete Financial Freedom as long as you actively participate in Hunts as a result a lot of the world wants to become a professional Hunter but only the top tier most elite superhumans even have a slight chance of surviving these life or death exams yet gon and kilua from the very beginning of the series are already so powerful that completing the hunter exams was more or less just a light workout to them and a lot of this is due to the fact that gon and kiloa are both two very powerful children from two very powerful blood lines kiloa the moment he's introduced into the series had just finished an 8-year training Arc with some of the strongest and most feared characters in the entire series he's so powerful that he's actually become overc confident kilua genuinely believes that no one can kill him outside of his family and the Phantom troop at this point in the series this is implied by kilaa stating that he thought he could kill Neo if kilaa got angry but in all actuality Neo could kill kilua just by flexing his immense Aura he wouldn't even need to launch an actual attack to kill him this vast overestimation of his own power came from kiloa being unaware of the depth and complexity of nen when nen is involved the entire concept of battles and Hunter's hunter changes completely it's almost impossible for a hunter without nen to kill a hunter that knows nen despite this kilua is still extremely powerful he's stronger than nearly everyone who doesn't know nen during the hunter exams the only one there that's relative to him without nen is Hanzo and this is due to being the most talented zoldick in history and surviving the extremely grueling torture training of the zoldick family gone on the other hand is just a genuine freak of nature he has zero formal training basically all he's ever done is play in the woods and he developed strength stronger than the combined strength of 10 men simply due to his bloodline much like the zicks the freak's bloodline is stacked to the brim with monsters and it's implied that some descendants of B Bloodlines are born with unique abilities and extraordinary Talent goon is essentially a miniature version of Jing following in the footsteps of his father they are both extremely talented with Jing seemingly being even more talented than both gone and kilua born with the ability to copy other nen abilities at a glance and displays incredible Affinity with Advanced to nen complexity and he even outsmarts genius level hunters in their areas of expertise without even trying Goen is implied to be a character that's becoming more talented as he's growing up implied during go and kila's battle with knuckle where go impresses kilua with his learning speed despite them completing multiple training arcs side by side and never being surprised prior so it's possible that goone will develop these same abilities as Jing as he grows older as well they could be innate talents Of The freaks' Bloodline that can only be unlocked under special conditions all this being said Hunter exam and kilawa have slightly different power levels depending on whether you're reading the manga or watching the 2011 anime in the anime gone and Kila are shown to be equal in stamina and speed they both complete the hunter exam race first and second and they both treat the exam like a game they Sprint racing each other during the final leg of the race and the race ends in a tie heavily implying that in the anime G and killo were both even in travel speed and overall stamina and the manga go and kilaa both end up in the front of the pack and are still just chilling while they complete this grueling run but gon is sweating a bit while kiloa is not sweating at all and in contrast they also show Leorio who's basically dying on the most challenging run of his life showing that to kilua this was incredibly easy but to gone it was a light workout in the manga kilawa outclasses gone in experience reaction speed and attack power proven by analyzing kila's reactions to gone versus Hanzo where kilaa is able to react to attacks that goone can't even see coming so at the start of the series kilaa is superior to goone in every single stat but the next AR Heaven's Arena brings with it the introduction of nen and nen combat nen combat is a complex battle system that changes the concepts of fights and hunterx Hunter completely without nen all that matters in a battle is stats and Stat advantages meaning if you're faster and stronger than your opponent you automatically win but in N combat however characters more skilled and more experienced in nen combat kill characters stronger and faster than them all the time this is an underlying theme in the Chimera antarc where a group of hunters experienced in nen combat display that they're capable of killing the royal guard by using Superior strategy and Superior experience in nen combat despite the royal guard being 10 to 30 times as powerful as these same Hunters total Aura amount Works more or less like weight classes due in real life fights of UFC or boxing if you have significantly more Aura than your opponent no matter how fast or cool looking their attacks might be they can't even damage you this is proven in the Battle of marm versus Neo the Gap in total Aura between Neo and marowan is implied to be smaller than the Gap in power between y and knuckle and shoot for example because Neo was able to produce enough Force to send maram flying and actually damage marm with zero hand but none of the invasion Hunters were capable of sending UPI flying or even come close to damaging him despite a gap of less than 10 times difference in Ora Neo hits maram with his hotu thousands of times and it does close to zero damage these are the complexities of nen combat and they make G and kilaa battles with each other much more interesting in competitive moving forward gone under goes the first formal training of his life by wearing weighted clothing given to him by one of the old leg family employees and gained so much physical strength that now he can One-Shot every opponent he faced in Heaven's Arena all the way up to the 200th floor this is extremely impressive because kilaa was sent to the heavens Arena as training when he was 6 years old it took him 2 months to reach the 150th floor of Heaven's Arena then it took kilawa 2 and 1/2 years to go from floor 150 to floor 200 goone does all of this in one week and one shots every opponent he faces it's another bit of subtle foreshadowing into gone having immensely unnatural potential gon and kilaa are both about even with one another when it comes to Talent this is revealed through Heaven's Arena that they are both one in a million talents and they both learn the basics of nen within days of practice while for most people it takes years but going from the beginning of the series all the way until current manga chapters is foreshadowed at having slightly greater total overall potential proof of this is shown in G scale with hand-to-hand combat displayed in the heavens Arena tournament unlike kiloa who has eight years of formal assassin technique training Goen has absolutely zero formal hand-to-hand combat training he just freestyle brawls with no martial art background but he's still able to pull off incredible and unique battle Combos and land a punch on Hoka something kilaa said go wouldn't be able to achieve in 10 years go achieves in a few months with absolutely zero hand toand martial arts training by the end of Heaven's Arena gone surpasses start of Heaven's Arena kiloa mainly because nen increases power exponentially this is shown by Wing Hoka and gon during the heavens Arena Arc so this gone with nen could kill start of Heaven Arena kilaa without nen with a single nen punch now thanks to the power increases gained by nen gon and Kila are now relative to one another in strength durability and speed by the end of Heaven's Arena due to gone being an enhancer and continuously being implied to have a slightly larger nen output than kilua in addition to the weight training he received from kila's bodyguard it balances out all the prior stat disadvantages between gon and kiloa from the start of the series gon and kiloa are now relative to each other by the end of Heaven's Arena with Kila was still having a slight Advantage due to battle experience and the Assassin techniques he's gained from 8 years of training with his family so if go and kiloa were to fight at the end of Heaven's Arena Arc kilaa would still win that battle during the Phantom troop Arc goon and kiloa have zero notable powerups but it's foreshadowed for the first time during gon's arm wrestling match with Nobunaga that gon's n output spikes due to his emotions because he was physically weaker than Nobunaga at first but overpowers no Baga in arm wrestling when he gets angry every nen category has its own unique characteristics and Stat advantages enhancers are stated to have power surges related to changes in their emotions and for gone it may be a combination of his bloodline and his nen type giving him additional power as well despite gon's Aura spiking when he gets angry the result doesn't change from Heaven's Arena gon still loses in a serious battle to kiloa here due to the difference in battle experience and kilo's assassin techniques Greed Island is where the battle between gon and kilua becomes truly interesting during Greed Island we're introduced to the concept of advanced nen combat which is more or less just a combination of using two or more basic nen techniques at the same time to develop new techniques of even greater power when you combine basic nen defense 10 with basic nen offense Ren you get Advanced nen defense called Ken Ken is a defense type nen that is much more powerful than normal 10 then by using guo characters allocate various amounts of nen to different parts of their body to alternate between offense and defense the ability to maintain Ken and smoothly use gu is one of the many complexities of nen combat that can balance out stat advantages gon and Kila will once again both display a genius learning speed with the advanced concepts of nen learning techniques and weeks that were supposed to take months with kiloa showing slightly more impressive Feats with his learning speed of guio and gone showing massively more impressive Feats and overall n output throughout this Arc gon and kilua become many times more powerful because Greed Island is basically handcrafted by Jing to train gone in advanced nen combat it should also be stated that by the end of Greed Island gon has gotten so much stronger that go has surpassed start of Greed Island kiloa in speed as as well this is proven by analyzing their battle against the blacklisted Hunter beol at the start of the battle beol launches an attack at kiloa where kiloa States if beol wasn't injured then kiloa would have lost an eye meaning at that point in the series a full power healthy beol was faster than kilua beol is so powerful that gon and kilua had to team up in order to defeat him while he was still injured at first but by the end of the battle both of them become strong enough to defeat beol One V one as well by the end of Greed Island gon and Kila both know the basics of advanced nen and have both developed their own hu this is the first point in the series where if gone and kiloa were to battle to the death gone is actually more likely to win than kiloa is this is due to Al umi's nen needle in kila's brain the nen needle has programmed kiloa so that he runs away from anyone of relative power to himself that he's not certain he can defeat gon is confirmed to be relative to K in all basic stats during their training of Ken and Ryu Ryu sparring is a special type of sparring that can only be done by characters of equal power gon is confirmed to be relative to kiloa in all basic stats because they were able to do Ryu sparring with one another then when gone activates Rock he becomes several times more powerful on top of that it's stated in chimra antar that Go's Rock attack is dozens of times more powerful than his normal punch this attack is so strong that it one shot a powerful Hunter like genu and it impressed Razer enough to call gone a monster Razer being a character so strong that even Jing respected his strength if goone charges up rock in a life or death battle against kiloa kila's nen needle would activate and cause kiloa to run away if he fights against the nen needle his attacks become linear and predictable and it would be within gon's pay grade to defeat kiloa who's fighting well below best proven by him matching kiloa in all his stats during Ken and Ryu training and then having his hu that pushes him many times beyond that the only way kilaa wins is if he manages to kill gone before goone tries charging up Rock but the moment gone begins charging Rock the fight ends with kilaa running away or running into a knuckle sandwich it would not be an easy fight but due to analyzing the noticeable drops in kila's overall combat ability when he fought against the power of the nen needle Goen would be able to pull out the Victory High difficulty at this point in the series in the Camara antar gon and kilaa complete their second round of training with bisy where they improve their fundamentals of nen combat using Advanced nen techniques in battle causes you to burn Aura much more quickly as a result training to expand your total nen capacity and endurance using nen techniques is extremely important and it's enough to decide the difference between a rookie and a skilled nen user go and kilaa triple their overall nen endurance after completing this training Go's total Aura is actually ranked like a power level and it's stated by knuckle that G's total Aura capacity is a total of 21,500 this is very impressive because Aura is something that is developed with training that requires a lot of time so children are not expected to have a lot of Aura while gone has the aura of a full grown man that's a midlevel pro hunter Morel being a very experienced single star hunter on the verge of becoming a double star hunter has a total of 70,000 Aura seeing how total Aura works like weight classes and hunterx Hunter this shows the viewers that G and kiloa still have a long way to go before they become the strongest in their verse even characters like kiloa with godspeed wouldn't be able to do much of any real damage to nen masters with around three to eight times as much Aura as himself the Gap in Aura between Neo and maram was never explicitly stated but it's been estimated to be around a 3 to eight times difference because it was a smaller difference than the 10 times difference between Yi versus The Invasion Hunters a three to eight times nen difference and Neo hits marow thousands of times without marm feeling any damage kiloa is a character implied to have less total Aura than gone or at the very least a smaller nen output so because of that many of the powerful double star Hunters with more Aura than Morel and 100% of the Triple Star Hunters especially the Triple Star enhancers would cook kilaa for breakfast even with godspeed despite being able to speed Blitz many of them he could hit them literally thousands of times and they would barely even feel it and then combat in order to do damage to your opponent you have to overpower their nen defense with your own nen because of this gon's Display of Power with rock is truly impressive before The Invasion begins gon's power increases massively so much so that he now has the power to One-Shot kill Morel with a single attack of rock implying that at this moment he was outputting considerably more Aura than Morel potentially many times more to better understand why this feat is insane you need to First understand the difference between nen output and nen capacity nen capacity is the total amount of Aura in your entire body when you use 100% of your nen and your nen capacity Runs Out To Zero you pass out from exhaustion as shown by gone during the Greed Island dodgeball game your nen output on the other hand is the total amount of aura that you can use at one time in your nen abilities gone had a nen output of 10% meaning he can only use 10% of his total n cap capacity in his n attacks no matter how hard he tries this is why goone who has a total Aura of 21,500 can only put 2,000 Aura into his attack Rock if gon's n output doubled for example he would be able to pour 4,000 Aura into his Rock attack net output is something that can be increased by training or by conditional nen now if Morel had the same beginner level nen out put percentage as gone at 10% then Morel with his total Aura of 70,000 would have a nen output of 7,000 Aura for his nen defense so for gone to become so strong with rock that he could one shot kill Morel with it before it even reached full power would imply that goon's net output with his Rock was well above 7,000 rock is so powerful that one of the Squadron leaders meleoron thought it might even be strong enough to kill maruem if they hit maruem with it with no nen protection which leads further Evidence into gon's rock reaching an extremely high tier level of attack potency even among veteran Hunters by the end of the cimera ant Arc this massive Spike and power is due to the mixture of enhancers getting stronger from their emotions and Go's extremely powerful bloodline Go Powers up massively from the emotions of seeing kite get mangled by the cimera ants and kilaa Powers up massively by developing his hotu godspeed and kiloa has removed the nen needle from his head so now he no longer runs away from enemies that are relative to himself and he can push himself to take risks in a fight similar to gone whereas before he was much more of a careful assassin type fighter without the needle in his head now kiloa fights more like a hunter gone then unlocks a conditional nen that in exchange for his ability to stay alive he skyrockets his nen capacity to what his nen capacity would be after Decades of training meaning that this is what 34 to 44 year-old goone would look like something interesting about adult gone is that this is not what True full potential gone actually looks like it's implied that True full potential gone would one shot this version of adult gone the reason for that is it's implied that all this transform did was increase gon's Aura capacity to what it would be two decades into the future meaning there's a possibility it did not increase his nen output at all this adult gone might still be fighting with the same 10% net output that he had when he was kid gone meaning gone as an enhancer if he keeps training naturally and increases his then output to 30 or 40% that alone would make all of his attacks and abilities three to four times stronger than the adult gone that low di Pito furthermore it's stated that if nen abilities add to your powers then conditional nen multiplies your powers conditional nen is basically the hunterx hunter equivalent of Fusion from Dragon Ball Z because it's one of the biggest powerups you can receive in the series a true adult gone can develop a clever conditional nen as a trump card that does not kill him afterwards but still gives him a massive power up essentially imagine adult gone but three to four times stronger a nen master and then can use conditional nen that makes himself dozens of times more powerful than that and on top of all of this has thousands of battles of nen experience so he can incorporate techniques like e and N to outsmart his opponents basically true adult go is a monster all this being said a battle between cimera ant Arc gone during The Invasion and kilawa with godspeed during The Invasion is a very interesting and close battle due to the complexities of nen combat if they battle each other without hatu gone would win High difficulty kiloa has the advantage in hand-to-hand fighting technique but enraged gone has the advantage and Aura output kiloa who had been training by goon's side every moment from the moment they were introduced to nen and was always relative to gone even in ryu's sparring now states that goon's aura is nothing like it's ever been before angry Go's net output is crazy and powerful enough to onot kill Morel potentially putting his Aura output into the 7even OR 8,000 range which would make it four times stronger than the original rock that was one-shotting genu and terrifying countless powerful hunters and with this new increased nen output this level of 7,000 to 8,000 Aura could apply to all of gon's nen abilities this is simply too much nen power for kwood to deal with it would be multiple times stronger than his own defenses but with godp speed this is far too much speed for go to deal with in order for goone to survive a godspeed combo attack go would have to have at least three to five times as much Aura as Kila in overall net output put all his Aura into defense block the attack then have enough energy left over to beat kiloa and a fair life or death hand toand fight after that I'll leave it up for you guys to debate in the comments to decide if gone actually does have three to five times as much Aura as kiloa in overall net output here because if he does then yes end of cimera ant Arc gone can still beat kiloa even with godspeed but here's my stance on it due to gone not being a nen master and not being that experienced in nen combat I think think that even if gone survives the gods speed Onslaught kilawa electrocuting him will lower his defenses enough that kilawa could then win the battle fighting base form to base form against goone kilua would have to use his Superior hand to-hand fighting skills and assassin techniques to kill the weakened gone but if the aura difference really is three to five times greater then that's just simply too much G with tank the godp speed rush similar to how marim Tanked Neo's thousands of hotu attacks so it really does come down to what you think the aura difference is between angry Invasion kid goone and Invasion kiloa if it's three to five times difference than goone wins but if it's less than that kiloa can win by battling against a gone that's been weakened from one of those godspeed combos adult gone obviously evaporates godspeed kiloa just by looking in his general direction adult gone was a marowan tier character the difference in AA between kiloa and adult gone was beyond 30 times difference it was gigantic there's just nothing he'd be able to do for the Dark Continent I'll be using context clues and writing patterns from the existing story to power scale how powerful G and kilua are likely to become and some of the powerups they are likely to receive in the Dark Continent there will be spoilers for the first five Dark Continent chapters for hunterx Hunter so if you don't want to be spoiled on the intro details to the Dark Continent I would recommend leaving the video now there are many Mysteries surrounding the freaks' bloodline that are tied deeply to the Dark Continent the power required to unlock these secrets surpasses even the likes of maruem go and K will have to reach New Heights beyond the royal guard without dying just so that they can survive that environment these massive obstacles and Go's connection to the Dark Continent gives more evidence into implying that go will develop unique nen abilities and might even change n types when they eventually Traverse Into the Dark Continent so at the end of the election Arc gon is about to die from the conditions of the nen restriction he placed on himself to kill Pito aluca a creature from the Dark Continent uses their mysterious wish granting powers to remove this nen condition from gone as a result gon survives and has his Aura back but can no longer see it this gives major context clues to gon's next major PowerUp postmortem nen is a a concept where nen becomes much more powerful after the owner of the nen dies Pito does this in the battle versus gone for example since the nen condition of gon was about to kill gon it's possible that gon's nen may have gotten a postmortem type nen Boost from aluka removing the nen condition aluka might have given gone secret powerups or abilities as a gift because she thought it would make kilawa happy for example also it was stated by kpa's nen master that h occasionally can change nen type as they grow older conjurers for example are the most likely to randomly become Specialists as they grow older and nen is influenced by users's individuality and personality gone was a simple kid so his hotu was simple rock paper scissors and a lot of that was due to his upbringing of just living in the woods but now go is taking a break from being a hunter and is getting a Scholastic education now that he's getting an educ ation and has survived numerous traumatic experiences and even met his father Jing his individuality is likely to change and his n ability is likely to change as well gone might change from an enhancer to a specialist Jing has unique nen abilities with the personality of an enhancer this implies that similar traumatic experiences happened to Jing in the past and might have changed his nen type from enhancer to specialist as well and on top of that the aura nodes in his eyes have been shut the same way they were prior to Heaven's Arena before Heaven's Arena gone could not see Aura in order to see Aura he had Wing blast him with an emission of Aura this opened the aura nodes in G's eyes and from there he was able to participate in nen combat but now the aura nodes and G's eyes have been closed once again and to continue his path as a hunter he will have to reopen these Aura nodes again getting your AA nodes opened by someone shooting you with their Aura is the shortcut method you can also open your aura nodes through meditation this is considered the slow method through meditation and study you can naturally begin sensing Aura for a genius like Zushi it took 3 months to learn to sense nen using this method but Geniuses like gon and kilua were stated by Wing to be so talented that they could probably learn how to sense Aura this way in a couple of days while still underestimating the Talent of gon and kiloa because after teaching them 10 gon and kiloa progress so fast with nen they exceed Wings expectations of their talent and scare wi with their potential so during gon's Scholastic study it's very likely that he will learn to sense Aura again through meditation gon is such a genius and already has experience with Advanced n combat he could likely reawaken his Ora nodes in a single day of meditation and the way hunterx Hunter ended they took the focus off off of gon and kiloa and began focusing on karapa and Leorio karapa Leorio gon and kiloa are the original four main characters of the hunterx hunter series for the majority of the series kopika and Leorio were on the sidelines and to gashi starts the Dark Continent off with the reverse Happening Now goon and kiloa are on the sidelines while kopa and Leorio are in the Limelight last time this happened there was a total of 2 years before karapa and Leorio both were in the Limelight again this combined with the fact that aluka said she'll let kilaa hang out with gon again after they adventure for a while it implies that there will be a time skip of at least 2 years and when gon and Killa will return to the story gone will be a lot more educated will likely have new net abilities altogether in addition to his old net abilities like rock paper and scissors it was shown that the moment he had a question revolving around nen gone calls up Jing and Jing tutors him on it meaning now he can get nen tutoring from Jing directly which is a massive cheat code and it's implied that g is allowed to go on Hunting missions with kite's old crew of hunters whenever he wants because end of election Arc we see go on a mission chilling with kite's old crew and he will have added wisdom from unlocking nen through meditation meditation could become a regular part of gon's training similar to Neo and gon's total Aura volume is likely to be gigantic and he might even have developed a conditional nen trump card inspired by the power of adult gone but this new condition is one that lets him use relative amounts of power for one attack without dying instead it leaves him drained of AA for a day for example kiloa has a massive cheat code with aluka and can probably wish for himself to be the strongest being alive but it's not within kila's personality to ever do that he doesn't use ala for petty wishes and he doesn't like the idea of leaving gone behind and the aggression of nen he likes for them to be relative and go throughout the journey learning similar things at the same time together kilaa during the time skip is likely to become more skilled at his hotu godp speed and is likely to increase his net output just due to continuing his training on his own and being a genius but he's more focused on protecting his sister than he is focused on being a hunter going on hunts at the moment so if anything he's training to keep alumi away from aluka and after the time Skip it's likely that kiloa will have surpassed the lumian power kiloa and gone are both likely to know the advanced to n techniques in and N now as well post times skip gon and kiloa age 17 are likely to both be stronger than Hoka and alumi and at this point would be Prime and ready candidates to enter the Dark Continent by this point this would be the start of the second half of the series and the underlying theme of Hunter's hunter is that it was all Des designed by Jing for gone to become a powerful Hunter every experience gone had was a training experience from Jing and it was likely modeled after things Jing experienced in real life the same way Greed Island was a game designed by Jing to teach goone Advanced nen combat the dark continent is a challenge from Don freus to Jing and gone to become essentially nen monsters who live for hundreds and hundreds of years that Tower over the rest of the verse in terms of power start of Post Time skip gon and kiloa are likely to be exactly even in power meaning if they fight one another they both pass out at the same time in the end the Dark Continent are full of materials that make you superum there's longevity rice that if you eat it it adds centuries to your lifespan and there's ingredients that if you eat them they cure all diseases G's ancestor Don freus went to the Dark Continent by himself and then conquered the entire west of the Dark Continent solo and has lived in the Dark Continent for 300 years and has survived All This Time by eating the ingredients of the Dark Continent the longer you are alive and the longer you train your nen the greater your total nen capacity becomes meaning if gon and kilaa also eat these ingredients then their lifespans would increase to 300 plus years old and their potential would essentially triple because they could live for several hundreds of years eventually we would have a 300-year-old gone versus 300-year-old kiloa the Rivalry between G and kiloa would likely continue for the entirety of their lifespans both of them could conquer the entirety of the Dark Continent together both pushing nen to levels no Hunter other than Don freus has ever reached they would likely meet Don freaks is in the dark continent and he would train them and go on missions with them in a similar manner to how kite did during the chimra antarc ultimately once they start reaching the hundreds of years of age it's likely that go would eventually have a slight Edge over kiloa and it would continue that way until they die because go start of the series was implied to have slightly more potential than kiloa but to put in perspective how powerful they could become assuming that adult gone was 34 give them another two decades and if they increase power by that same amount and then throw conditional n on top of that they could get to a point where they're at post arose maroom level by age 54 then you add 200 years on top of that of continuing to improve at the same rate 300-year-old gonan kilaa would be so powerful that they could one shot post Rose marm at full power something else to consider is like everything maram did he didn't even have hotu so give post Rose maram hotu and
