It is what it is. A popcorn movie. Quickly forgotten.
The kid from NZ did a good job of playing "that guy". I don't know who "that guy" was supposed to be but he played it well. Eleven was OK. Conspiracy guy was inconsistent.
I was actually OK with the whole hollow earth thing. I'm down with willing suspension of disbelief.
It's amazing they haven't figured out this formula yet, they just can't help themselves sticking in pointless B stories. Just gives us a 90 min movie where monsters fight, this shit ain't rocket science.
All the hollow earth stuff is so beyond stupid. Why is there another horizon and sun inside the earth... I mean WHAT!!
All I can remember is Godzilla falling down after getting hit hard and roaring like “OOOOWWW.”
Movie was too fun to scrutinize.
This movie was about giant ape and giant lizard punching each other and a giant robot. It goddamn delivered. It was pure fun.
As a side note, it felt like suits forced that stranger things gal to movie and director didn't want it. Because it felt like he and writer just included her to be make suits happy. Because her story didn't matter in a very goddamn obvious way.
Not really sure what people were expecting when it came to the storyline and frankly I don't even know why people care about the human storyline. The draw to this movie was big lizard fight monkey and on that aspect they absolutely delivered. The best junk food still tastes amazing.
I mean, they're right that Apex having Zero security was kinda silly at times, and the fighting was WWE on a larger scale. But hell it looked cool, and that was fine.
The first two films tried harder on the human angle and people complained there was too much human. This one didn't bother trying to make us care about people we won't and now it's too much monster.
I wonder how many of the complainers are Snyder fans taking shots at other films.
People in the comments saying how much they loved the movie seem like bought accounts and shills. That movie was an absolute trainwreck.
This was an shamefully bad movie - especially considered the amount of money getting pumped into absolutely trash like this..
