house and begin to lift your hands and give him glory begin to open your mouth and not wait to be coached but to say god i'm standing here this morning i'm breathing i've got the activity of my limbs and i'm not dead but i'm alive to give you glory is there anybody in the house this morning they can say yes he's been that good to me yes he's been that good to me come on tag your neighbor and tell him he's been too good to me i don't deserve all of it and i don't have time to tell at me all that i'm a testimony know that i prove that he's a way maker now that i prove that he's a healer know that i prove that he covers him and he lives and he protects and he's restored if you do the hell that i've [Music] this morning come on somebody with the fruit of your lips just begin to bless him this this morning pastor said do not miss your moment this is your moment to praise god and if you're excited to be in the house of god this morning just take a few moments don't miss it right now and lift up the name of jesus as loudly as you possibly can [Music] this is your moment now don't miss it don't miss it yeah yeah you see that that's the difference between between appraiser and a worshiper see i don't want to pump and prime you but i like praises but i love worshippers [Music] because i told them this morning they cut the christian appraiser you need too many words to bring them into the service you need about 150 175 words to get you ready for worship i got to remind you of too much stuff you remember when he did this you remember when he did that do you remember how he healed your body you remember that he gave your job to me it's 175 words to bring you into the worship but but but a worshiper all you need is three words [Music] now let me test you right now because anytime you sense a worshiper in your presence i just want you to slide up next to them or beside them and you make this statement and you say ain't he all right see you see that you see because a worshiper don't need what three words [Music] all right just just look at your neighbors hey ain't it all right yeah that right there that take care of everything for me [Music] let me let me tell you why because amy alright took care of my yesterday it'll bring me current to my presence and when i get to where the lord has taken me to america be waiting for me and when i get there i look back and say hey [Music] that's why i like worshippers cause a worshiper don't need all that stuff to remind you all you gotta do is say ain't they all right in a worse will lose their mind grab your neighbor's hand grab that hand see you see it right there a worshiper can't shut up when it's time to be quiet all the stuff that though that god has brought them out of [Music] all the mess if i had time to tell you about all the stuff i couldn't tell you about all of it but all i can say is ain't it all right yeah all right all the things that he brought me through all the locked doors out of incident you all the times he didn't heal your body all the times he kept sickness from you i can't tell you all the things he's done but all i can say is amy all right yeah father god we just want to say thank you [Music] thank you lord just for being all right in our life god i thank you lord that you are great that you are more powerful than everything that i can face any problem that i have god you are the solution any sickness that i have god you are the healer any confusion that i may have got you are the counselor anytime i'm uncomfortable god you know how to send forth your spirit and comfort my troubles so god we thank you in this place today i lift up my praise to you god as a servant on a platter because you are worthy of all of my praise we lift you right now and we say thank you god now god we ask lord that you touch our leader give him the words to say the wisdom to the cloud given the power of god to speak a new season and level into our life and we say thank you all these blessings we ask in your son jesus name amen look at somebody say ain't he all right well you can be seated in this house today you can be seated in this house today the lord is good ain't it the lord is good all the time and all the time that's for the church folk right there the church people know that me hallelujah listen if the lord has long done anything for you that you could not do on your own but just for a second give him some praise in this building well i just have a few things i want to say to you on this morning this we want to thank everybody who came out to our back to school on our party uh that was here on yesterday it was a phenomenal turnip turnout it was a great event we had backpacks we had hot dogs people had got haircuts got their hairstyle it was great phenomenal event and we just want to thank everyone who participated in that those who helped us stuff backpacks those who came out and did hair braids uh cut hair everybody who participated we just want to say thank you look at those people who volunteer [Music] listen please don't forget on this saturday august the 18th at 10 o'clock we're gonna have houston's first uh flight and aerospace expo that's gonna take place right here at lighthouse church come on give give god a hand praise for that going to be houston's first it's going to be right here we're going to have drone demo sessions we're going to have planes here on site for you to touch and experience uh we're going to have food trucks and we're going to wrap it all up with pastor jason doing the 40-yard dash to human flight the human takeoff with 4.9 seconds ran in the 40-yard dash come on now just look at somebody say hey all right yeah you're gonna have to be all right for him when you get done with that um also also we want to announce to you something that a new initiative that we have coming on here at the lighthouse church it's called the life groups now life groups are just small groups that we're putting together because every time a sermon is preaching every time a bible study is taught we want you to go home and go over those points that topic those scriptures right there in your small groups because we want you to get the nuggets of what's really going on and said from this pulpit is that good now we have a life group leaders set up right out here outside these doors in the foyer when you go out there they're going to be talking to you they're going to be making a lot of noise trying to get your attention because we want you to join as many of those like you as you possibly can now they're going to fill up quick because it's small it's gonna fill up quick but if you wanna be a part of that please walk right out these doors find one of those groups that you wanna be a part of sign up and participate we're trying to grow you biblically but we're also trying to grow our relationship with each other is that good hey man just walk right out there and we'll take care of that also in this kid's discoveries don't say kids discoveries oh your children are ain't nobody got kids enough come on clap your hand if you got somebody in the kid's discovery zone listen clap even harder if they've been serving you well [Music] hey hey man but in the kids discovery zone we have a new initiative taking off it's the it's our autism class we're launching a classroom with teachers who are going to be catering to children who have autism come on give god a praise for yeah that have that going on right now we're launching that and also just for some extra support we're launching another support group that deals with autism so just in case you're having a hard time sometimes you're getting a little down dealing with that because we understand that that could be quite a task to deal with but we have a support group that we're launching that we've already organized ready to help you out in a moment's notice so go right back out right right back to the discover zone they'll have some information about that for you as well listen i want you to give a big hand clap not yet but a big hand clap when i get ready to tell you what's about to take place in september on the 9th now some of y'all don't even know why we're clapping but let me tell you what it is the lighthouse church and pastor kian henderson is launching a new campus and worship experience downtown there it is on the screen at grooves yeah come on you're talking a bit harder than that now now listen let me tell you what's exciting about that because this worship experience isn't going to be like this one it's going to be a something of a different kind say something of a different kind yeah it's going to be at 1 30 it's going to have some different type of things going on he got some tricks up his sleeve waiting for you we want to encourage you to come on out and bring somebody with you look at your neighbor and say bring a friend bring them i promise you they're going to enjoy it it's going to be september 9th at 1 30. it's going to be a brand new worship experience we promise you're going to enjoy that all right get going to hang out with that and and and sand said and now you got to put some church on that thing and say and we got some about to start next tuesday next tuesday bible study study storms backed up if you've been missing that stand on your feet if you've been missing bible study stand on your feet hey [Music] if you like me you need bible study in the middle that week oh glory from sunday to sunday ain't good enough for me i didn't got look that's too long for me to become unholy but if i catch me on twos in between there's a philip cause by the time i get the fried i'd better lost my mind brother got to lay hands on me pray for me back to my right sense of mind but because bible's coming back i got my sandwich in between so listen those are announcements those are the lighthouse happenings coming your way please take note to that the next voice you're top brother some of y'all don't know what i'm talking about but just just type on my name and google today you'll find out hey man it's giving time hey man if you need an envelope raise your hand uh real hot you can go to aaron carter's instagram he's reposted it as well and producer carter is that it is it producer carter oh jesus oh my people come to church just this this is what people come to church and do come here look at your mean face smile turn that frown upside down tell your neighbor you got something to be happy for the joy of the lord ought to be your strength amen how many of y'all happy well act like that amen i can tell you one thing i bet you if god made a miracle our way in the area of finances but let me tell you something the bible says in proverbs 13 and 18 poverty and shame shall come to him that refuses instruction did you know that a lot of people are poor because they won't listen they won't listen and you don't always have to be poor in the area of finances you can be poor in wisdom you can be poor in experiences and all of that comes because you won't listen a lot of young people are going through what they're going through right now because they won't listen amen so i pray in the name of jesus that you would begin to listen if you need an envelope raise your hand real high i instruct you today to give unto the lord amen amen amen right i instruct you right now to give to the lord because he loves or what he loves a cheerful giver the another reason that people are poor is not because they refuse instruction but the bible says the man that doesn't work won't eat some people keep passing over jobs because they don't pay enough you better get the one that don't pay enough till you get one that pay enough you're sitting at home talking about i'm waiting on the lord to bless me well you better start at nine dollars an hour before you get to 18 amen hey man give god something to work with it may not be your dream job but you got to work so you can eat do i have a witness in church today another reason why people are poor is because they have what i call a victim vocabulary the only thing you speak on is what's wrong i don't have enough money i don't feel good my head hurt my ankle hurt my lower back hurt you never got anybody up have you ever heard this it's gonna sound crazy but you never heard anybody say my elbow feels exceptionally well today cause nobody ever says anything about what's good we always go back we always go back what hurts so i really want you to not have a victim vocabulary watch this how many of you all have ever seen a bunch of vultures circling around in a circle man i did not even oh my god you had elbow search or something that ain't funny at all i got to use another body part this man is sitting on the front row with elbow surgery and i'm up here talking about elbows that is not funny lord forgive me you never heard anybody say my toe feel good i don't see nobody with no calves on their foot that is terrible i'm sorry as i was saying have you ever seen anybody have you ever seen those vultures flying in a circle i promise you underneath that circle is something that is either dead or dying because when you have a victim vocabulary and the only thing you do is advertise your wounds you invite vultures to circle around you you got to give off a new language you got to have a new conversation i don't care if you don't have any money in your pocket don't say it the devil don't know you broke until you say it come on talk to me somebody the atmosphere the universe no it doesn't know that you don't have it until you say it you have to advertise a different product i don't care what's going on in your life advertise the well side of everything that you expect in your life in the name of jesus so if you are sick what are you going to advertise health if you're poor what are you going to advertise well if you're lonely you're going to say the lord is your strength whatever it is you've got to make sure that you don't advertise your dysfunction amen in the name of jesus so everybody say i'm well everybody say i'm rich as a matter of fact i need all rich people to stand up right now so that we can get ready to give how many of y'all sometimes i want to see your hands before we give this how many of you sometimes want to ask god for stuff but you feel unworthy be honest i understand it i understand it but let me ask you this question why do you think you are worth going to heaven walking on streets paved with gold and having a mansion and don't deserve or don't think you're worthy to have it on the earth you're still going to be a sinner when you get to heaven you still would have been imperfect when you got to heaven the only thing you would have done is took off mortality and put on immortality but everything you did in the earth didn't deserve anything that you would receive in the heavens and so if your heavenly reward doesn't come as a result of what you deserve the same thing can be true of the earth that you might not have streets of gold in the earth but god can give you enough that you can not only feed your family but feed the poor and have enough to give to your children and their children's children and guess what you don't have to be worthy that's why it's called a blessing i want you to begin to have a different conversation and know that the seed that you're about to sow right now that it's about to give you something you're not worthy of something that you don't deserve something that you don't have coming but because god has favor on your life you've got a blessing coming three people say there's a blessing coming now some people don't believe it so i want you to repeat after me say god don't just give me what's mine but give me everything that belongs to the people on my roll if they don't believe you for it you didn't hear what i said somebody on your blood on your row has a blessing it's got their name on it but if they won't receive it in the name of jesus tell the lord i'll take it i'll take it i'll take it down your road say do you want your stuff cause i'll take it i'll take your blessing [Music] huh i take all your raises i take all your promotions i take all your financial prosperity i'll take it all i'll let you hold something he said what god has for me is for me so some of y'all like you ain't getting my stuff how many y'all say you ain't gonna get my stuff hallelujah as we get ready to take this off and i want to praise god i bless victoria she's on the phone right now tori just raise your hand i know she didn't expect me to do this she's been our stage manager for years at our church she's into school now she's moving to washington dc this is the last sunday and so we we praise god for you and we pray for your prosperity and and we pray that you will bring a difference to the nation's capital and then god will use you as a transformer and a shift changer and we pray prosperity on your life in the name of jesus everybody hold that gift up in the air oh i feel a blessing about to break loose hallelujah how many of y'all feel it people are standing in line to enter the sanctuary to experience worship and word at the lighthouse church at our sunday morning 9 11 and 1 30 tuesday evenings 7 p.m and any other service we may have we are 100 tithers all of our debt and property is paid in full do me a favor look at your neighbors say i owe you nothing but to love you i hope that's true this is the year what year is it somebody say this is the year of elevation the windows of heaven are what and the doors to failure are what how many of y'all believe it how many of you receive it can you shout a man pass your gifts to my right your [Music] this is left on the internet right now [Music] oh [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] um [Music] bishop noel jones is preaching and he's an amazing man of god and uh mari is on the hammond b3 organ playing there's another young man that's on the keyboard obviously omar is not agreeing with what he's doing so mari has the audacity to turn around and tell the the sound engineer to mute his keyboard you got to watch when you get home he got up took his ball and went home he did like this tomorrow it is all over the world uh they didn't put cardi b memes on it and everything and so this is the most famous man in church thank you for putting us on the map mr white all these years of the gospel just wouldn't do so we appreciate you for your help oh lord jesus he called me on the phone last night said rev all right listen it's a video it's going viral it ain't my fault you know somebody did something when they started conversation off with it ain't my fault but i told them i said i already seen it it ain't no problem uh we on the winning side amen it's time for the lord's supper amen deacons let's get prepared to serve the people of god it's all right to have a little fun in church serious if saints need to be served to suffer please raise your hand ministers if you don't see anybody attending to them please grab them and serve the people of god as your receiving stand to your feet [Music] i am i am amazed that jesus loves me so much i i think that you ought to be shocked at the fact that he cares about you for those of you who think that you're worthy the scripture says the wages of sin is death the gift of god is eternal life one sin is enough for hell you don't have to sin repeatedly just one anybody ever lied before anybody ever been jealous anybody ever been hateful or angry anybody ever been manipulative have you ever gossiped have you ever been dishonest because all of that is enough but he cast all of that aside and while we were yet sinners he gave his life for us can you see the narrative that jesus didn't die for you because you were better when you were at your worst he had already given himself for you had already given us back to the cross before you had ever uttered what must i do to be saved [Music] he gathered his disciples in the upper room as i have gathered you here today that we might take the bread and the blood the bread is in pieces because his body was in pieces for each and every one of you you are a living testimony he was wounded oh thank you jesus for our transgressions bruised thank you holy spirit for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace was placed upon him and by his stripes we are healed he gathers 12 [Music] fault-filled men around the table and says the one who dips in the cup with me at the same time will betray me the echoes go through the upper room lord is it i none of them could conceive that they would be the one but judas and god knew all the time that it would be him god says you still have to do it with the judas at your table he could have went and said you know what i'm not going to do this i'm only going to do this for people who won't deny me three times i'm only going to do this for people who won't betray me but he decided lord let this bitter cup pass me by the blood [Music] says god i can't believe that it would be me jesus knew judas knew judas hangs himself jesus is in the upper room passes the bread around and he says to every one of them as i say to every one of you this bread represents my broken body to eat all of it lord if it be thy will let this bitter cup pass me by nevertheless not my will but thy will be done you see the wine that jesus served wasn't the type of wine that you buy in the bottle it was actually fermented the peels from the grapes actually set in the bottom of the glass the bitter herbs made the wine sweet would be sitting at the bottom so when he said let this bitter cup pass me by he's saying god i'm almost to the bottom i'm at the bottom where all of the pulp is i'm at the bottom where all of the hurt is i'm at the bottom where the rejection is i'm at the bottom where the suppression is i'm at the bottom where the frustration is i'm at the bottom where the dead is and god says you gotta drink that too [Music] here at the lighthouse we put the blood above our head because even though it's bitter at the bottom there's a covering at the top we raise the blood above our heads signifying we are covered by the blood of the lamb and he says all of the contents of this cup drinky all of it somebody shout hallelujah [Music] i want to teach you something new this morning real simple song and all you got to do is just repeat after us all right if you're ready to repeat just say i'm ready [Music] here we go we say you are alpha and omega [Music] you're the same yesterday today and foreign [Music] you're the same yesterday today and forever [Music] hallelujah [Music] [Music] hallelujah [Music] together [Music] here we go [Music] today and forever [Music] you're the same yesterday [Music] hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah [Music] [Music] say hallelujah [Music] holy you say [Music] come on give god some praise in this place somebody shout out hallelujah glory to the lamb everyone standing to your feet turn with me to the book of genesis chapter number 18. the book of genesis chapter 18 i want you to follow along with me in scripture and i'm going to read to you what i believe is one of the most impactful scriptures in the in the entire bible 18 we're gonna i i didn't have any tendency or any inclination to continue what we talked about last week but the lord had given me um a small uh ankling into a strand of of successes and we were talking about last week of people who were here uh abraham and his wife had received a promise that they were going to have the son whose name was isaac how many of you all remember that so far right so this is just one page one chapter later this is the next event the bible says the lord appeared to abraham remember his name was what last week abram this week his name is what abram was his name before the visitation after the 14 years of silence that he and god had gone through and abraham means father of multitudes okay so abram exalted father so he went from being exalted to now being the father of multitudes because god watch this he lifts him before he blesses him and sometimes we don't often see that because we think the blessing is the lifting but sometimes the blessing isn't the lifting sometimes god will do something for you and you'll be operating in your old function and won't even know you're blessed this is true before david david had to wait almost 20 years before he was given an actual throne to sit on but he was anointed as a teenager right so god will anoint you some of you all were anointed in high school you were known in high school you probably won't walk into the full fruition of your authority into your 40s but god gave you the anointing 20 years ago he wants to see if you'll just if you'll will you praise me in the field the same way you will in the palace all right so abraham was going through a similar dispensation and the lord came to him while he was under a tree and abraham looked up verse 2 and saw three men standing across from him somebody said they were strangers it didn't matter because the bible says that abraham bowed to them and he said my lord if i have found favor in your sight do not pass by and leave your servant let a little water be brought so that you may wash that you may wash all of our feet and rest under the tree and let me get a bit of food for you so that i can refresh you for your journey and and and your servants as they pass by home and after that you may be on your way all right they replied you may do as you say so abraham heard into the tent and said to his wife quick take three measures of flour knead it i need you to make a cake and i need you to make it good and i need you to make it fast abraham ran to the herd and chose the best calf that he had and gave it to the servants who quickly prepared it and abraham then took some milk and some butter and prepared it and placed the food before them while they ate he stood near them under a tree verse nine then they asked him where is sarah your wife he replied in the tent one of them said i will surely return to you watch this when the season comes this time next year she will have a son oh here's the word of the lord this time next year for some of you that may not be encouraging because like abraham you've been waiting 99 years but this time next year everybody say this time next year lord i hear the spirit of the lord rumbling in this room watch this abraham does something that some of you all might be doing right now and i hope i can preach it out of you god gives them a big promise the bible says sarah's in the house laughing she's in the house laughing the lord said who that is laughing abrahams i think that's my wife i'm not sure they said sarah was you laughing says it wasn't me read the bible she she found out it was the lord and and you know some people will laugh at you until they find out your position they'll laugh at you when they don't think anybody and then they find out you are somebody didn't they oh it wasn't me it was them then he asked a question that i think is one of the best questions the bible has ever asked opposed oh sarah don't believe me because she's old is there anything too hard for god i want to talk on this next subject when god turns the page i want you to touch three people on your way down and tell them god's about to turn the page on your situation you may be seated in the presence of the lord cleo is like sometimes you can see life one way and because it's so consistent you don't think that it could be another way and so what some of us do is we settle for the page we're on some of you all are on the depression page and you just figured that's the way it's going to be some of you all are on the underemployment page and you just figured well this is my lot in life this is just the way it's going to be but you know god can't do anything in your life that you don't see coming in other words you have to see it before you see it you got to have enough courage and faith to look your circumstances in the face and say i'm stronger than you there's an old saying we say that all the time in church stop telling god about your problems and start telling your problems about your god i have been blessed but i've also been a based i've been able to go in the grocery store and buy whatever i wanted and i've had times where i had to grow in the grocery store and who know what i'm talking about anybody ever had to make a list and when you get in there if you've ever been really broke you have a calculator in your head that's 250 yes 575. something i think all right and you got about 45 you can spend maybe and you have to make decisions about what you're going to put back before you get up there but you're lazy so you put ice cream on the counter put bread by the milk and then all of a sudden god turns the page he starts saying stuff like i might not have everything i want but i remember time i didn't even have what i needed i believe that there's some people in here right now you're at the next phase because you're no longer asking god for needs your needs are met some of you are saying god i'm ready to turn that page because i used to didn't have needs now my needs are met i need to get into overflow because i want to go from being blessed to being able to be a blessing am i right and as long as your heart is pure you give god a canvas to paint on the bible says it was the heat of the day 12 noon sounds like the same times when he met the woman at the well he comes at the heat of the day and the birds are seeking the solitude of the foliage of the forest the beasts of the field are panting in the sands of the ground waiting for their next meal not abraham abraham 100 years old is standing in the door of his tent waiting on god to tell him what to do next there are two types of people in this room today those who are waiting on god to do something and those who are waiting on god to tell them what to do and i can't judge you for whatever situation and circumstance you are in for some of you may be heavy laden you may be wary you may be frustrated you may be tired and you may be panting as the deer pants for strings of water so my soul thirsts for you oh god you may be hurting and that's fine but there is a morsel of us there is a uh a section of us there is uh a query of us there is there is an amalgam of us that are here today that are saying god if you don't do anything else you've already done enough some people are saying god i need a new house and others are saying god thank you for the roof over my head some are saying god i need a new transportation and some of you are saying god thank you for what i have some of you are saying god i'm lonely and some of you are saying god you are my strength whatever your circumstance may be god told me to tell you he's coming today to do one thing and that is to turn the page on your circumstance but abraham really gives us some clues and cues on what we should do in the meantime and in between time abraham should be arrogant right now because abraham has just gone from very poor to very rich abraham has gotten ahead of god because god promised him a son and he couldn't wait on god so what he did is he he slept with his his maid and and they produced ishmael and so god goes silent on abraham for 14 years here's the word of the lord sometimes god slows down because you sped up sometimes god will make you wait because you wouldn't wait on him and so he says he says abraham i was going to give you a son and you could have had isaac by now but you're going to have to settle for ishmael until i circle back around because you got ahead of me and i am only obligated to take care of what i gave you is there anybody in here that would be honest you are asking god to care after something he didn't give you you're asking god to bless something you didn't even pray and ask him should you have god says that's not in my wheelhouse i don't have to take care of what you got without me ishmael is your problem isaac will be my blessing and if i go silent for 14 years and you have to wait on me that is the consequences for trying to lead me i'm god beside me there is no other i will never be led by somebody who needs me to wake him up in the morning and you can cry and you can come to the altar and you can blow your nose on the carpet but you ain't gonna get god in no hurry god will not bless you with what you're asking for until you are ready to receive what you're looking for abraham is standing at attention 100 years old in the heat of the day and the bible says three men come to him some theologian suggests that he is the first person to ever encounter the trinity we do know that this is not just two angels or three angels rather at least one of them is god the father manifested because he says lord is it you so we know now that he is talking to god the father and we understand that he understands that somebody is in charge because although there are three men there he never changes his focus he talks to the same man the entire time he is now visited at his temp possibly by the the trilogy if you will the the three god head he's he's there with the trinity and he's got the father the son and the holy spirit and he is conversing with them but he doesn't know that and he doesn't know it he doesn't even know who they are sarah obviously does not know because if she knew she wouldn't be laughing touch somebody said you knew who i was you wouldn't laugh at me if you knew what god was gonna do with me you wouldn't be laughing if you knew what kind of anointing i had you would have already spoke to me this serve has been going on for an hour you ain't even looked at me to say hi let me tell you something the bible says in hebrews 13 and 2 you got to be careful when you are entertaining angels because strangers because you could be entertaining angels unaware some of you all have been in this church since 11 o'clock you ain't spoke to the person next to you you haven't waved at them i say give them a high five you won't even look at them i'll tell you to talk to your neighbor you got an attitude but you don't know you could be sitting next to the person who will hire you you could be sitting next to the person oh y'all not here with me today yeah you better get to know him touch your neighbor say you sit next to somebody you better ask somebody i got an anointing on myself that when i speak things that are not they become i might not look like i'm blessed but i am i might not have money in my pocket but guess what it's on the way i might not have a man but guess what he's on the way i might not have a wife but guess what she's on the way touch somebody say you better know who you sit next to i am the head and not to tell i'm above and never beneath i am the lender even though i'm still borrowing i wish i had somebody who could speak those things that are not as though they were hebrews 13 and 2 be careful around strangers you could be entertaining angels unaware your problem ain't the strangest your problem is the familiar oh no you you got to give i'm telling this is the word of the lord you're going to have to give a stranger a chance the bible says that they showed up at his door unannounced they didn't even send a telegram to say they were coming he went in the house and treat people that you don't know with attitude you walk past people you don't know you walk in the mall and won't speak you think you're fine you got your bag on your arms swinging you've been asking your name say not now baby you better get yourself together god is looking for somebody who'll answer the door even if they don't know who's at the door god is looking for somebody who will be a blessing to somebody i'm telling you that the problem with some of us is we better get our attitudes in check we better get off our high horses you better stop thinking you all let and stop thinking you so perfect and high-minded pride comes before the fall you ain't no better than nobody else in here you can have more degrees than the thermometer you still ain't no better i went to private school so what abraham gave his best to a stranger you keep entertaining angels under what you better be careful how you treat people it's one of the problems with the church we so clicked up only folk you sit by the folk you know only people you speak to are the people you know and let me tell you something if the people you knew was going to help you you probably already be helped you better go find somebody in here you don't know walk right up to him and say you know what the lord told me you're going to bless me i don't know why as a matter of fact if you got a neighbor that won't speak to you by the time this service is over i implore you never to sit next to them again because they don't follow instructions i need you to look at somebody who every time i say talk to that neighbor they turn and talk to you if you guys want to get away from them right now because they ain't gonna help have you ever seen one of them you say talk to them get away from them the blessing sometimes comes through the stranger not the friend that's why it's called a fellowship ecclesia the called out ones god did not call us all here to come together and not speak to one another i just came to get minds i don't i don't i don't bother nobody i came in here to worship and that's what i'm going to do because i don't like no troubles we on the same team guys we're in this together we all crazy do you know how crazy that person is next to you they they got their church face on right now hallelujah by god he's good all the time and i'm telling you all the time he's good get in the car with him boot up ain't gonna be ain't gonna be no kirk and again go turn on the radio right now and don't give them a chance to change the station before you get in there lmao right now it's amazing how many people come to church and done worship on r b all the way here i'm ready to go child i'm ready to go i feel the glory today where i i don't want to know where your money is i don't want to know where your degree is i want to know where your heart is how do you treat people when you don't know what they can do for you yet complete strangers gave him the best he had oh y'all with me today and that's why god could turn the page because he says i i can trust abraham because if he'll give it to a stranger i know he'll bless a friend are you saying what i'm saying which is the first thing that you've got to understand when god is turning the page on your life number one you gotta make sure you don't miss the moment the problem with most people is they don't have the instincts to know how to seize a moment you gotta know when it's time to hold them and when it's time to fold them you gotta have an instinct and i can't teach it to you and i can't give it to you you just gotta have it inside of you you just gotta know when to go and when to stay when to speak and when not to speak when the hug and when to stay back there is a thing that god puts in you it is the indwelling person of the holy ghost who will lead you and guide you and tell you what to do and not to do but you've got to know the moment how many of you know the feeling of missing a moment that you felt like when you missed it you're like man how many of you all felt that i should have said something i should have spoke up because you got to have the instinct everybody say instinct not only do you got to have the instinct but you got to have the stamina because the bible says that after abraham fed him he stood by the door and watched them eat don't you miss that he stood by the door and watched the meat he didn't eat with them he watched them eat it is the heat of the day that means it's noon that means it's lunchtime so that means abraham is hungry too but he cares more about feeding his guests than he does feeding himself you got to be careful with people who have to eat every time you do abraham said this time i'm not going to get full off of a food i'm going to get full off of service i'm going to get full off of watching you get blessed oh y'all didn't hear me is there anybody in here that has enough humility to say you know what god even if you're not doing it in my life i'm glad that you are doing it in her life i'm glad you're doing it in his life god if it ain't my weekend ain't my week but i'ma praise god that it's so weak you need to stop hating when god blesses somebody else and you just start praising god when he blesses somebody else because whatever you praise god for he will do the same thing for you abraham understands that the way to be blessed is to wait he serves them abraham is rich by the way abraham is so rich that he the bible says he has 1 000 servants that live in his house okay you thought your auntie was rich cause she had a maid that came over on the weekend he is so rich he's got 1 000 servants that live with him how big your house got to be 4 000 people y'all here i ain't got enough room for the six i got how big does your house have to be for 1 000 people to live with you that you're not related to i'll wait that means he needs at least 1 000 some odd bedrooms you ain't seen a house like that built before we think we got something now they had stuff that would have ran circles around us back in the day 1 000 servants that live with him but yet he serves the food chefs but sarah cooks it because god wants to know can i bless you and you still do your old job can i bless you and you still say excuse me can i bless you and you still say yes sir and no ma'am can i bless you and you still have a good heart and good spirit some people can't get the blessing because the title would ruin them they get elevated and they just treat everybody bad and that's why people who are less qualified than you keep getting jobs over you because you keep dependent on the degree and they keep depending on the character and god will bless the character 100 out of 100 times over the degree you don't have to be the smartest you just have to be the most humble david said creating me a clean heart and renewing me a right spirit which is why god blessed him to be king over all of the qualified people because he was blessed in the area where it mattered i asked you again where are you here can you be trusted with a blessing internally if god does make you famous will you sign our grasp for the first three months and then tell everybody else get away from me i'm busy i'm going somewhere you're gonna be walking through the mall with your sunglasses on because your uber is luxe huh some people got ken bless like that not because they don't want to because they are they are not they're not made inside they're not made inside to be blessed on that level and still treat people with dignity and respect but he gave abraham a nation because he knew that a nation would not ruin him he knew that giving him a nation would not change his faith he knew that giving him a nation he does not do what most of us do when most of us get blessed we start coasting when you need a man you up here right wiping your makeup on on a carpet when god give you a man you'd be like well i'm gonna stream today cause uh when god when god blesses us some of us we start falling off come on tell the truth if god gave you more money than you can handle you wouldn't be here today not all y'all some of y'all came today to trick god into a blessing i came not what you're gonna do now that ain't everybody cause some of y'all been blessed been up been down and still been here been rich been poor still been here been favored can't see the favor still been here but i'm talking to those of y'all who think that god is santa claus and that you should only come around for the holidays i'm telling you god is looking to bless somebody who will come whether they're happy whether they're sad whether they are up whether they're down he's looking for somebody who will bless the lord at all times and that his prayers will continuously be in how many of you have had praise god said how many of you were praised i'm hungry how many of you have praised them sick how many of you have praised them lonely prove it right now i dare the redeemed of the lord say so [Applause] this worship has nothing to do god with what i need this worship has to do with what you have already done and i declare in the name of jesus there's 175 people who will say if you don't do nothing else i'm still going to dance if you don't do nothing else i'm still going to speak in tongues if you don't do nothing else i'll still run around the room because god you've been good slap two people to say won't he do it this praise ain't got nothing to do with a car i praised like this when i was getting a ride this praise doesn't have anything to do with furniture i praise them like praise god if you don't have stamina you got to have the kind of stamina that makes you shout when you don't even know what we're shouting about you got to have the kind of stamina that make you shout in their arms y'all remember that we made it how many of y'all remember somebody had to come and take the baby and take her glasses off and help her out now he also kill you then you want to shout some people used to run with a baby head bobbling in their arm [Applause] [Music] we used to clear whole rows of pews out worshiping god they used to come out of the choir stand running out the back door why because the anointing ain't particular when that thing hits you you can't help but give god some praise hallelujah in the house of god abraham has been promised a son and he's a hundred years and god hasn't done it but when god shows up he still serves him why because god is looking to bless somebody who knows how to manage disappointment oh oh i wish i could just stay right there god has promised him a son and he does not yet have it but when the man who hasn't given him what he told him was going to give him when he showed up abraham still served him because god is looking for people who know how to manage disappointment you're going to be blessed you're going to have to do with tears in your eyes if you gonna really be anointed you're gonna have to operate in your gift with a broken heart away with people who can only praise god with money in the bank away with people who can only praise god when everything is go well there are some folk in here right now that are worshiping and if you knew what they were going through if you knew what they were going through right now you'd be surprised that they had a worship in their spirit [Applause] oh i wish i had a my wife last night i said baby i got to go i got to go i got to go early i called nick i said nick you got to come get me the lord told me to be there before everybody gets there i came and i sat in the back they didn't even know i was here i sat in a booth next to aaron and i saw robert standing up here and i don't know why the lord told me to come to him i came right down the aisle i laid hands on him anointed his head anointed his feet known at his hands jason came up to him and said you know his mother passed yesterday i said no i didn't know it but i know the lord sent me to get him and he sang in this choir today and he sang in this praise team why you wouldn't have known that his mama had died but sometimes you get a praise on the inside that you can't keep to yourself and god will give you the peace that surpasses understanding somebody shout yes [Music] and i came in here and from 7.50 to 8 30 i held them in my arms and i'm a grown man see men need to learn how to show emotion sometime [Applause] and i held him for 40 minutes and didn't let him go didn't give him no advice didn't tell him he was going to be all right didn't tell him to get over it and be strong i just held on to him so that when he left church today he would know that he could lean on god's everlasting honor i wish i had 50 people who would just tell somebody if you knew my story if you knew what i was going through if you knew how i felt on the inside oh then i got a worship oh but i gotta pray [Music] [Applause] don't you miss your moment don't you miss a moment don't you miss your moment don't you miss your moment waiting to see what your neighbor gonna do don't miss your moment wanting to see what the church gonna do if you feel like shouting you don't have to have a dance partner you can do it all by yourself not the redeemed of the lord you got to learn how to manage your disappointments abraham could have had an attitude and didn't answer the door that day abraham could have been in this feeling saying why am i gonna answer the door for somebody who make a promise but don't keep it why am i answer the door for somebody who's been telling me the same stuff for 50 years why do i have to keep loving a man who say he gonna change but he ain't changed yet why do i have to love a woman who tells me she's gonna have more emotion toward me but she still won't hug me why because you've got to entertain the stranger which means you have to love people even when you don't recognize him abraham said i'ma feed you even though i'm hungry i'm gonna hug you even though i don't feel like speaking i'ma kiss you even when you don't make me feel beautiful i'ma speak to you even when you walk right past me and when you start that kind of stuff that's when god they don't say that that's when god turns that page and says you've been faithful over a few things now let me call you up so that you can rule over many you can't quit because you're hurting you can't quit cause you're tired you can't quit because you don't understand everything that god told abraham to do he told him to do it at an age he couldn't do it do you think it was easy for a 100 year old man to bow down in the dirt god could have asked him to bow when he was 20. he could have gave him and sarah a son when they were 30. but he gave it to him when he didn't have the power to do it himself you think that god is mad at you he is only trying to display his power and to show you that he can bless you without your participation abraham had no seed and sarah had no egg and god still did it can you imagine to 100 eternity if you walked in texas children right now seeing 200 year old people giving birth you pass out right on the floor we get shocked when 50 and 60 year old people have a baby god says i don't need your help to keep my word i promised you that i was going to do it and he that has began a good work shall establish it until the day of jesus christ don't miss your moment because you and your feelings don't miss your moment because you have an attitude don't miss your moment because the church hurts you don't miss your moment because you're trying to prove to somebody that you can stay madder longer than them don't miss your moment because you can't get over yourself get up and answer the door behold i stand and knock ask and it shall be given seek and it's and ye shall find knock and the door you got to get up and do it no matter how you feel if he can sing a couple hours after finding out his mother passed you can worship with a broken heart because god always asks you to do something that's hard lord my hand is with it we'll stretch it out lord i can't walk we'll go dip in the pool lord i can't see we'll go find the pool lord i've been walking i've been laying on this bed for 38 years well guess what the answer is get up and walk he will always ask you to do something that you don't have the power to do lord they broke my heart love him anyway because i am a lion but i am also a lamb god says i understand the dichotomy of sometimes having to be two people sometimes i am the lion of the tribe of judah and other times i am the meek and unbelieved and sometimes you have to learn how to operate in your gift no matter what your circumstances through the good times and the bad times where the happiest sight whether you are based or bound god says don't miss the moment i want to turn the page for you don't resist me resist the devil don't overlook what i'm telling you because you feel your mother should have did better she probably could have but if she did better you wouldn't be who you are if your father would have raised you you wouldn't be the person that you are today had you grown up a rich kid you wouldn't have that grind you got and perhaps your circumstance is that you grew up rich and you wish that you would have struggled because you know people always want the opposite of what they have i know rich kids right now that they want their parents to let them make their own way and there's some of us who grew up poor like what kind of silliness is that this is the truth i have some wealthy friends that have kids and they're like i don't want you to help me i want to make it myself because they have a different struggle you can't understand it you're saying what but if you were them what you would be trying to do is make a name for yourself you would be trying to get out of the shadow of somebody who was providing for you so it's a different struggle you would want to prove that you had the goods and that you didn't make it because you know what they say when you grew up wealthy well you didn't do anything they just gave it to you but they don't know that it also takes power to manage something so whatever your circumstance is don't hate it don't miss your moment because you can't manage your emotions don't miss your moment because you're still upset don't miss your moment because your mouth said i forgive you but your actions are otherwise don't miss your moment because you have a wide view through a narrow window don't miss your moment because you don't have the courage to say to yourself what you say to everybody else take your own advice get over it stand up be bold if you gotta do it limp and limp all the way to the finish line if you're broken do it broken if you feel rejected accomplish it while rejected the world doesn't have to set its temperature based on how you feel zion is calling you to a higher place of praise and this is the season of your life where everything you've ever heard and everything you've ever read and everything that you've ever witnessed it's now time for you to apply it you know you reading that book gave you knowledge you using that book is called wisdom everybody in here has knowledge but until you use it correctly you won't have wisdom solomon said wisdom is the principle thing so what you're smart so what you read a book every three weeks are you doing what's in the book if you're not going to apply it stop reading it because your knowledge will not help you in this next season being witty and being smart and being able to out argue everybody is not going to get the god of the universe to knock at your door and bring you what you've been praying for if you're in this room today i'm i those who were here this morning will tell you this sermon has a whole another part to it but thus it saith the lord and it is over if you're in this place today and you feel that god is knocking at your door but you have allowed your heart your mind and your emotions to keep you from answering that call i want you to meet me at this altar if you had an attitude and say i ain't doing nothing i don't care what they say i'm not changing and i don't care how they feel about it this is me this is how it's going to i want you to meet me at this place it's calling us to a higher place of praise standing on the mountain and magnify his name tell all the people in every nation ever race zion is calling us to a higher place of praise is there anybody else in this place say you know rev i'm i'm coming to that altar and after we pray we're going home i i've i've put my feet in the sand and i've decided i'm not going to move i'm not going to change i'm not going to just i am just saying i've said this before people just don't have to accept me for me and they don't accept me for me then too bad well that's called not answering the door abraham you got to give people your best even when you don't know them and sometimes you got to give people your best when they give you their worst is there anybody else who will come i i won't pressure you but i know there should be more i don't know of a person that i've ever met who is so flexible that you just change no matter what comes some of you said i cuss that's what i do and they come at me wrong that's what they gonna get you said that but you're still sitting down because you don't want to change but yet you're requiring everybody else around you to change do you know that there's some people require people in relationships to do things that they're not even doing themselves you can't ask for what you don't give no more than you can go to the bank and withdraw where you haven't deposited god work on us i'm not asking you to come up here and be on front street i'm not going to ask you to say a thing i'm just asking you to come before the lord to admit lord i've missed some of my moments with my bad attitude i've let my mouth get me into trouble i i need to be saying i'm sorry to somebody but i just can't bring myself to it because i don't feel like i did anything to them i feel like they ought to be telling me they're sorry because they heard me god says no no i'm calling you i'm calling you you're the anointed one you're the one that i'm gonna bless you're the one whose door i'm gonna knock on you're asking them to do something but the blessing isn't for them you're the seed of abraham but god he left me these are his children he doesn't help me raise him you still come and i'm gonna make you a boss as a female you're gonna be able to take care of them i'm gonna end the struggle over your life do me a favor would you hold your neighbor's hand they need you right now more than you know it's calling us to a high place of praise standing on the mountain magnify your name tell all the people [Music] in every nation every race calling us to a higher place for everybody to sing that we come on and sing it zion is calling us [Music] to a higher place of praise standing over the mountain [Music] magnifiers [Music] [Music] as we get ready to pray i want you to feel this goddess calling you to something higher he is pulling you to something that currently you don't even have the emotional stability to handle he's asking you to do something have a baby that you don't possess the ability to produce on your own and that's okay he wanted you in a position where you couldn't do it right because he's not interested in the world knowing how much you can do he's interested in the world knowing how much he can do but he uses you as an example and that's enough to shout about because he could have gave isaac to anybody but he's calling you up to a higher place to produce something you can't produce so people will know that god can do it is there not is there anything too hard for abraham is there anything too hard for god this is still about god and you are blessed that he is using you as an advertisement for his glory and you get to be blessed because he chose you not because you were perfect not because you warranted it not because you could have the baby sarah you were picked out of all of the women in the world all the men in the world to be his choice vessel that's enough to say glory hallelujah he's calling you up to a job you're not qualified for [Music] he's calling you up start a business but god i don't have any experience start it and you'll get some all right god i need to write a book but i don't know the first place to go if you write the book the publisher will show up god i want to start a hair salon but i don't have a place i can't afford rich start in your kitchen and then god says i'll turn your house into the salon and you can move where you want to no excuses give him the best even at the heat of the day god right now in the name of jesus hundreds of us are up here because we don't know where to go and we don't know what to do oh lord we've quit a thousand times given up a hundred threw in the towel 50. stop believing another 100 times and here we are today still with your hand of protection on our life before we ask you for anything we just want to say thank you for never leaving us never forsaken us [Music] you should have left us a hundred times the way some of us acted you should have taken the breath out of our body [Music] because there was a season we were no good for the earth but you gave us joy and peace and oh lord we just want to say thank you you've been good to us but today we need you we need you to bless us because we're hurting in places we can't reach [Music] we got pain we can't express we can't articulate it what's more over god we don't even know who to tell we we're hurt so bad we don't even feel like anybody would ever understand what's more god is that when we did tell people they used it against us we are we become hermes god we keep everything to ourselves we don't even share with you because we're afraid but today god break the curse over our life forgive us for our ishmael experience forgive us for getting ahead of you and doing what you didn't call us to do and thank you that you still saw fit to give us isaac because out of isaac comes jacob adam jacob comes reuben simeon levi judah nephtoloid the 12 tribes of israel come out of one man that's what you meant when you were going to make him a nation and then john says i saw 12 000 from 12 different tribes which numbered 144 000 and thank you god that even though we're not in the 144 000 he finishes up by saying i saw a number that no man could count thank you for letting us in to the diaspora of christianity thank you god that our sins have not locked us out of the door thank you that there is no more condemnation to them that believe in thank you god that we don't have to have shame and thank you god that we don't have to have regret and thank you god that we can love ourselves in spite of our mistakes and thank you that you love us in spite of it all and so god we are honored that we are yours in more honor that you are ours in jesus name everybody say man before you move before you move i extended an invitation this morning in the nine o'clock service and god started sending people from everywhere and they came from just like this song they came from every nation they came from every race and normally right now i would just release and let you go home but god says that there is a group of people that are in this room today you came to be connected with this ministry and you have made up your mind that you were not leaving until you had an opportunity to do it and the lord says that this is your opportunity to do it if you see somebody with a sign up i don't care where you are grab your belongings and i want you to go find them and tell them i'd like to be a part of this ministry i'd like to be a part of this movement i want to connect my family to this thing right here if you don't god bless
