forever one more time this morning [Music] well there's a happy land of promise over in the great began where they're saved on herself soon the glory share and where the souls of men shall enter and live forevermore and everybody will be happy over there oh yeah now everybody said you know they will be happy [Music] said you know they will be so happy over and we will shout we always try to sing his praises and the christians of our nation will join the trichome song and everybody will be [Music] that you know they will be so happy said everybody will be happy over there [Applause] and [Music] and i know that we will shine [Music] his praises one more time everybody will be i've been in church since march i'm a little happy to be up here is that all right [Music] everybody will be happy over there i'm reminded this morning that how good god has been to us and as i go into this prayer the main thing that is on my mind today is mercy father i asked lord god that you would continue to have mercy on those of us lord who are still breathing we're still alive lord and i'm just reminded and grateful father that you woke us up this morning started us on our way we still got our right state of mind father there's so many lord god that don't have the right state of mind father there's so many that can't breathe on their own this morning lord god father there's so many in the hospitals this morning lord struggling for their lives lord and father we pray for all of them lord and we ask lord that you will comfort them and then lord there's some this morning that have lost their loved ones they're no longer here father they got the plan of fruit or lord they got to plan how they're going to put them away lord father god but only you know how father please be with those people this morning lord and be with our church lord be what god knows father many of us here have suffered too father please lord not just our church but all churches lord a christ father those who believe in you and trust in you we're asking this in jesus name amen i was looking at kevin i ain't heard him sing since about march either so he was in but we here i don't know i don't know um let's do a little bit of our living glory i'll live in glory our living glory i like to stay here longer than men's a lot today and watch the feeding changes a life's uneven way but if my savior calls me to that sweet home on high i'll live with love forever [Music] gonna tell me [Music] i want to be your service along this pilgrim way and lead the laws to jesus as heavenly i pray and as day by day i travel [Music] [Music] him yes [Music] me i am oh right there i pray i i pray today that there was some joy in your heart and and you know what you don't have to have money in the bank account to have some joy in your heart ah no no no no as long as you know that god has been good to you you can have some joy in your heart and so to this morning i am filled with joy uh thank you for leading us in those songs that that was good we appreciate that hey listen um if you were with us last week you were with us last week you know we launched out in psalms 23. and if you don't mind if you don't mind i want to take you back to psalms 23. and uh i want to see if the lord will help us as we examine just one verse in psalms 23 but before i tell you what that one with me it's uh always our joy doing the reading of the word of god to stand and give reverence to god and so we're going to be in psalms chapter 23 and i will start out in the king james translation to say it with me if you don't mind i want you to personalize it here where you can say me i my and those places you you really emphasize is yours so beginning at verse number one is what shepherd what what next shall not want what me to lie down in green pastures come on he restoreth my soul he lived me in path of righteousness for his name's sake though i walk valley of the shadow of death i will fear no evil thou art with now table before me in the present what [Music] oh that's good that's good that's good now let me let me let me let me extend it just a moment and let me to the message translation me you have me down and lush metals you find many quiet pools to drink let from catch me and send me in the right direction even when the way go death valley i am not afraid when you walk by side your trusty shepherd's crook makes me feel secure you serve me a six coarse dinner one of my enemies you revive blessings your beauty and your love day of my life i'm back at home in the chest of my james translation verse number four verse number four says of death what i will what i will what i will fear no evil for thou art with me thy rod and thy step they comfort me i want to use it as a title i want to use it as a title living life fearlessly living life fearlessly now now if you are within six feet of somebody and that person has not tested just tell them i'm living life fearlessly living life fearlessly be seated be seated living life fearlessly if the truth was told 2020 has been a year that all of us every last one of us have walked through the valley of the shadow of death it's been some dark days somebody ought to say amen we've we've gone through a valley covert 19 has has has touched our friends covert 19 has even touched some of our church members covert 19 has touched our loved ones and if ever if ever there was a time that we need a message of encouragement reminding us not to fear it's right now forever remember we needed a message of hope i i need some hope anybody else need some hope if ever we needed a message of hope and not fear today is the day the time is right now look look for a moment with me at some definitions look at some definitions when when we say fear it's an unpleasant emotion caused by the threat of danger caused by the threat of pain or caused by the threat of harm when we when we talk about anxiety anxiety is something that is projected in the future we are we are anxious about something that is going to occur in the future and and so anxiety is a future oriented fear panic panic is not future panic is present panic is immediate panic is a physical response to fear worry worry is a feeling or a cause that makes us feel anxious about potential problems and so so so listen to me today i i looked up the 10 worst fears 10 worst fears and i want to go through these fears and maybe you say well i don't have that for you maybe you say yeah that's my fear ten worst fears the first one first one at the top of the list is the fear of loneliness loneliness just don't want to be alone just don't want to be by myself i fear being alone sucking fear is the fear of death i really don't want to die i really don't want to walk through the valley of the shadow of death i don't want them to close my eyes in rest thirdly it is the fear of public speaking i don't open my mouth in front of a lot of people i might screw up my nouns and my adverbs and my and i might not have agreement i might stutter so i got a fear of public speaking number four is a fear of spiders anybody fear spiders rats snakes that was a fear for some another one another one number five is the fear of intimacy i don't i don't want to get close to you last time i got close to somebody they hurt me and and and so i'm keeping my distance i don't care how kind you are i don't care how nice you are i don't care i don't care i don't care i'm distance because i fear intimacy number six fear of going crazy that is one of my fears i probably am already there after truth be told but fear of going crazy fear of going crazy i don't i don't i don't want anybody to lock me up i don't want i don't want that number seven germaphobia homophobia i don't oh germaphobia and number eight the fear of being a coward i i don't want to be a coward i want to want to look tall i want to be brave i i don't want to look like a coward number nine fear of poison don't want anybody to poison me no i like your sisters when y'all fix me something to eat but but i'm watching y'all okay especially y'all two over there i'm watching y'all okay uh and then lastly fear of getting old i've gotten that one too already i got at least two on this list fear of going crazy i've been there i'm there already number 10 fear of getting old i'm already there and so and so you need to hear me say as we step into this message that that fear fear is just like love it is a emotion i'm not going to stand here and tell anybody that fear is sinful i want to say it is a moral it's neither good nor bad but it's sometimes both good and bad sometimes fear sometimes fear can be good if we wake up and the house is on fire and fear engulfs us and we run for our lives and and our lives are saved because we were filled with fear that's a good thing but but sometimes fear can be bad we have an opportunity for a promotion at the job we have an opportunity for advancement at the job but because we are so fearful we refuse the offer hear me say i don't care who you are okay what side of town you live on okay how much money is your in your bank account i don't care what school you graduated from we all have fear somebody ought to say man i'm thinking right now i'm thinking right now of my nine-year-old grandson my grandson is an amazing person and in order to go to sleep in order to go to sleep he's got to have four things four things he's got to have a night light on he's got to have a ceiling light on he's got to have the door closed and he's got to have noise from the tv he's got to have all those things because he doesn't know what might walk in and get him so so he's got he's got some fields nine years old he's got fear but can i tell you that that that uh i've got a lot of fears myself i've had fears for a long time uh let me give you an illustration when when i met marcia my wife-to-be i was 16 years of age and then when i turned 26 10 years later we got very serious and when i was 28 almost 29 we got married and so do the math 13 years 13 somebody say 13. 13 years after we met each other we finally got married somebody said why so long well can i just tell you i was afraid of commitment i was afraid of failure i was afraid of the words will you marry me i was afraid of the words until death do you paul question question what what if what if i had what what if i what if i back then allowed my fear because i was fearful i i didn't want to fail i i didn't want to ask that question because i was afraid of commitment what if i what if i had allowed that fear to handcuff me i i need you to hear me say that fear fear can make you miss your blessing i i need you to hear me say that that you can live beneath god has for you because you let fear chain you back i'm reminding somebody today don't don't don't let me control you what what what talk to me what what's what's what is your greatest fear i i gave you a list of the ten top fears i i gave you mercy's fear i gave you my fear what's your fear talk to me what what's your fear this past week the united states of america reached the 4 million number in terms of corona 19 viruses no other country on the planet has that many people who have tested positive for the virus texas florida california are now the hot spots they they no longer talk about new york they they kept talking about new york they kept showing us those those those refrigerated trucks parked outside they kept showing us funeral home now they no longer talk about new york in fact when they zoom the camera they now talk about texas i i know i know i know we need to be safe i know we need to be careful but but but i'm asking you i'm asking you just just between you yourself i'm asking you is it possible is it possible that fear is now killing you every time every time you turn on the news more bad news every time you drive down the streets there's somebody with a mask on reminding you of where we are every time you walk in the grocery store you see the the lines on the floor to remind you stay six feet apart i'm telling you everywhere you turn all you see is corona 19 corona 19 corona 19. it's a wonder that all of us are not absolutely pounds we fear we fear this will never end we fear this will end us we fear this will take our loved ones we fear this will economically ruin us we feel that this will permanently change everything so whether you agree to it or not i want to put on the floor just for your consideration that fear has paralyzed us fear fear is in control right now and right now in the midst of this world where fear is controlling us we need a word from god that says live fearlessly don't be reckless but live fearlessly we need a word right now to say you can live fearlessly because i'm your shopper psalms psalm 23 is a timely reminder for us today right now that it is possible to fear no evil somebody somebody say fear no evil is it is possible it is possible to live life fearlessly i i didn't say recklessly but it is possible to live life i'm talking to somebody i'm talking to somebody that perhaps last night you tossed and turned all night because you're worried i'm talking to somebody that right now you're filled with anxiety you're filled with fear because you don't know who holds tomorrow and i'm today it's the shepherd who holds tomorrow i want to i want to remind us that we've got a shepherd somebody just smile and say i got a shepherd said again i got a shepherd look back over your life pause for a moment and and let's put it in reverse look back over your shoulder look at the rear view mirror i i want to remind you this morning that we've got a shepherd tell me tell me as you look in the rearview mirror do you see the same thing that i see in my rear view mirror over and over again he has led me through valleys that were dull he has has he has he led you through any dog valleys talk back to me i'm telling you when i look back over my life and look at all the situations and all the places i've been it was nobody but the shepherd that said junior let me hold your hand i'm going to walk you through this dog valley over and over again it's raw and his staff have protected me and comfort me i'm just asking you you don't you don't have to say amen but let me just ask you has he used his rod and has he used his staff to protect and comfort you or you got to see it you see the rod was a smaller instrument and he used the rod to to knock away the wolves to knock away the enemies and then he used the staff the staff had a hook on it every time the sheep got in trouble he'd send that that staff with that hook and he'd pull that sheep right out i'm telling you his rod and his staff has been with me oh i'm i'm telling you today oh i'm telling you today over and over over and over as i look back over my life he's prepared a table for me and the president might come come and join you sit right here i got all your enemies here junior junior i got those people who thought they were going to take you down i got those people who thought they were smarter than you i got those people who thought they were going to win junior i prepared a table for you sit right here at the head of the table i'm all prepared for you it's a six-course meal i'm gonna anoint your head with a has he ever done that for you talk back to me ah yeah we got a shepherd somebody just shot again we gotta shut up [Applause] yeah we got a shepherd so so so don't answer this question too quickly because that was a lead to this question here's the question if he is the same yesterday today and forevermore if he did it for you if he did it for me before why wouldn't he do it again for us see see see if we allow ourself to look back in the rearview mirror and remember what he has done for us then it allows us to stand flat-footed even when the winds are blowing even when the waves are acting up because the shepherd can speak to it psalms psalms chapter 23 most scholars most scholars attribute this psalm to david david was a shepherd y'all know david was a shepherd don't you david was a shepherd before he became the greatest king of israel david david understood the need for a good shepherd he understood the need for sheep to be protected and so i want you to hear that that david understood the sheep shepherd relationship like no other king david king david finally became king of israel but before he became the king of israel king saul hunted that young shepherd boy david for 13 years don't miss it see we've been going through this for five or six months but but i need you to say 13 years everybody say 13 years for 13 years night and day david lived with the constant thought death my death can arrive today because saul's got his army and saul is after me and so i don't know whether or not my eyes are going to close tonight or whether i will die in the daytime or at night and so david lived with the constant thought the death is around me david david understood fear david david became king and after he became king his crazy son absalom one with the long hair where his son absalom ran him off of his throne excellent took his army just like king saul absalom chased david night and day summer and winter his determination was to kill his dad so so don't tell me that david when he penned this didn't understand what real fear was see you and i you and i that we we are just coming into understanding what real fear is with this covenant 19 but but david lived with fear and i'm reminding you today that that if we let fear control our lives i can't smile because i'm fearful i can't i can't say hi cause i'm fearful i'm always bottled up i'm always knotted up i'm always angry i'm always tense because i'm fearful and if you allow fear to control your life you have forgotten you got a shepherd i uh i want to remind you that fears happened to all of us you said junior a while ago you told me about the field it took you 13 years to ask marcia to be your wife you you have any more fears yet yeah i had another fear after i finally got the courage to ask her to marry me i went to work for ibm i had worked for 13 and a half years for ibm i had y'all i had a great income they paid me well every day i every day i had on a three-piece suit and french cuffs i had a wife i had a baby i had a house note i had a car note but all of a sudden something inside of me something inside of me kept saying you can do better something inside of me kept saying that there's something something something on the other side of this and and the thought unbelievable thought came to my mind quit the job it's like no no no no i cannot quit the three-piece suits i cannot quit this great income i cannot quit this life and stop lifestyle but something kept saying quit quit quit i had no other job on the table i had no other offer only thing i had was a dream what if i 25 30 years later now but i'm just asking you what if i had let fear control me i would have missed one of the greatest blood that god had in store for me i'm talking about me but but really i'm talking about you really i'm talking about you see see when we allow fear to take grip when we allow fear to take every day take every week take every moment then we are missing blessings that god has for us i'm talking to somebody i'm talking to somebody and i'm not telling you you should be here but i'm telling you somebody could have been here today that would have been blessed by the service but your fear your fear says stay home this big old building that can seat 1500 people you could sit in the balcony but you'll fear [Music] a year or so ago i was faced with another opportunity it's like junior you you've been affiliated with mcdonald's for 30 years now you you've you've you've lived the dream you've been the owner the junior can can can you can you walk away from the ego trip that every time you walk in one of the stores everybody say big daddy what you want i want to feed you to that big daddy what you want big daddy sit right here big daddy isn't clean enough for you big daddy what can i do he can you walk away from that and can you walk away from that and let god control the moment i'm telling you when you put your hand in god's head when you say god have you i can do some marvelous things think think with me think with me is it possible yes you're not talking talk to yourself is it possible that sometimes we talk ourselves out of blessings that god has for us because of fear because because we forget who the shepherd is see sometimes sometimes we act like we the shepherd no i'm not the shepherd i've got a shepherd that is unbelievable and all i need to do as a sheep is follow my shepherd 20 21 times in the new testament jesus the great shepherd says to us fear now fear can you believe that more times than any other command in the bible he says to his children fear not somebody shall fear now say it again say fear now too many times too many times we play it safe and the reason we play it safe is because the devil is whispering in our ear saying you can't you can't you're not smart enough you you're not talented enough i'm not talented enough to stand here but the holy spirit is within me and the holy spirit is speaking to somebody today to remind you don't let fear take over it's not about us moses one day on the side of the mountain says god i'm not eloquent god said back to him who made your mouth it's not about us it's about god somebody showed us about god too many times we we play it safe because we forget how many valleys lord have mercy how many valleys he's already brought us through when we look back and and we say you know what i was crazy i was out of my mind i was just like the prodigal son i was in the fall country and he reached and he got me and he put a robe on me he put shoes on my feet he did it he broke me out of that dog valve i'm telling you when you remember what god has done and when you get out of the fact that you got to do it and let god do it it changes your life too many times we play it safe because we're trusting in ourselves quickly let me let me rush i believe one of the greatest fears of mankind is the fear of death we fear dying we have absolutely no idea what death feels like what it looks like where it takes us to but but but i submit to you right here this morning that with the right set of convictions with the right set of convictions we can overcome even the greatest fear of death somebody needs to hear me somebody said junior now where you get that from well have you ever heard of the suicide bombers the suicide bombers back in world war ii those those those pilots from japan would get in their planes and and they would know they had x number of fuel fly to a point that it was the point of no return and they understood that if they don't turn around they will on a suicide mission if they don't turn around at that point there is no opportunity for them to live because they're fine in the enemy zone can i tell you that every day a child of god has the ability to fly into enemy territory when we know who our shepherd is those 9 11 people drove flew their pant lanes to the world trade center they they had convictions but but but but they knew what was or they thought they knew what was on the other side can i ask you i'm not middling but can i ask you do you know what's on the other side wait a minute come back to do you do you know what's on the other side see see we are so paralyzed by then we catch the virus i hope nobody catches of ours but if we catch the vibe and if the viruses takes us out of here so what we're going to be with god anyhow just got there earlier i'm telling they flew with conviction we ought to live with conviction when we start living with the conviction and i'm not telling anybody to live recklessly i'm not telling anybody not to go out with your mask or not to stay six feet apart but i am telling somebody don't let your nervous condition cause you to have a nervous breakdown don't live in depression we've got to shuffle it y'all somebody shut up we got a shepherd oh let me ask you some questions wasn't it wasn't it the shepherd who caused the little shepherd boy david to kill the nine-foot giant wasn't it wasn't it the shepherd who calls the prophet elijah to stand up against 450 prophets of baal and qualify from heaven wasn't wasn't it the shepherd who caused the ten plagues to fall upon the people of egypt but protected his children from each one of them wasn't is the shepherd who calls the walls of jerusalem or sometimes sometimes we look at those stories and those are little sunday school stories those are little sunday school stories and those little sunday school stories get out of our head but i believe god put those stories there where we could be reminded every step of the way that we've got a shepherd that will take care of us a shepherd a shepherd has a proven track record of taking care of his children just like just like willie mays had a track record of hitting home run after home run just like michael jordan had a track record of hitting free throw after free throw three-pointer after three-pointer just like warren moon had a record of completing one pass after the other pass 50 yards of passes i shepherd a shepherd has got a proven record i i need to take you let me let me let me rush you let me rush you to psalms 23 verse 4 in the new testament but but as you go there what i want you to see is i want you to see the shepherd i want you to hear the shepherd i want you to see the sheep and i want you to hear the sheep and i want you to make some comparison you say junior how you get psalms 23 verse 4 in the new testament let me show it to you matthew chapter 8. i'm glad you asked me matthew chapter 8 i want you to see it see if you see what i see matthew chapter 8 verse 23 through 27 matthew chapter 8 verse 23 through the bible says and when he entered into a ship his disciples followed him and behold don't miss this and behold there arose a save us we perish and he said unto them why all you fearful say it again for me would you say that for me say ask the question he asked he asked it again he said unto them what then they said oh give little faith he arose rebuked the winds and the sea and that was a great calm but the man marvel saying what manner a man is this that even the winds and the seas oh baby come come here come here come on come here that's not just a little good bible school story come here i need i need to draw some parallels i need to draw some parallels between this particular story and our story today don't don't miss it this that the disciples are facing is a great storm somebody said great storm we're in right now covert 19 is a great storm somebody shout great storm this storm that the disciples are in it arose out of nowhere the disciples got on the boat and all of a sudden without the dark clouds without the thunder without the rain all of a sudden the great storm came can i just tell you we stepped into 2020 nobody had heard of covet 19 except those over in china and when we stepped into 2019 all of a sudden this great storm arose but don't miss a storm that the disciples were in rose as they were headed to the other side don't make me shout right now they they they they were headed to the other side and all of a sudden the storm can i ask you anybody in here headed to the other side anybody in here trying to make heaven your home anybody in here know that we are traveling from earth to glory [Music] just like them just like them many of us have asked jesus to go with us and jesus is with us yes yes yes don't don't don't don't miss them it's it is an emergency it's an emergency it's emergency like no other and because of that emergency it's a matter of life and death so they rush to him they touch him they wake him up when they wake him up i need you to hear him say again as he talked to his sheep why are you for real am i am i am i am i'm speaking for jesus to somebody today jesus when they when they woke him up he he saw the storm before he addressed the storm before he addressed what was happening to them he he had already seen it perhaps he saw it while he was asleep he knew it was coming but his first question to his disciples were why are you afraid it was as if don't miss this i'm not trying to get in anybody's face but it was as if jesus expected his followers jesus expected his disciples to have more faith he says oh ye of little faith and after he asked them the question and i've been on that sea of galilee and i've been on that sea of galilee when all of a sudden the wind started blowing and the waves started i remember the tour guide saying we won't be able to go out today it's so bad but we went out any kind of way and and and and and i can hear jesus as he stood up on that boat and as he looked around jesus said jesus says be still still instead of allowing the storm to give us ulcers instead of allowing the storm to give us sleepless nights instead of allowing the storm to give us a nervous breakdown instead of allowing the storm to to lead us into depression instead of the storm capturing us we need to do just like the disciples and we need to tell jesus on the storm lord jesus say to our fears to what's happening around us hush be still i asked the lord today to allow me to speak to somebody i i know i know you sheltered in place i know you're at home i know you wish you could be in the facility somewhere worshiping but but i want to remind you wherever you are jesus is there somebody say amen he's there yes yes ma'am yes sir my brother yes sir my sister he's here with us in the facility but don't miss the fact he is there with you there is a passage that says he knows every hair on your head there's a passage that says he knows our upper eyes and then i don't see it and if jesus is our shepherd everything is going to be all right it's like the little girl said the lord is my shepherd and that's all i want stand to your feet this morning stand to your feet stand to your feet i wanna encourage you i don't know where it's going i heard yesterday that 150 doctors are saying to the cdc shut this country back down we opened it up wrong we opened it up and and and i don't know i don't know where we're going i can't predict that but but i do know that i'm trying just like the disciples to go across to the other side and i'm trying just like the disciples to take jesus with me and i got confidence because i know whom i have believed and i am persuaded that he is able to keep that which i have committed to him against that day he's able somebody put your faith in him i i i want to speak to somebody today that that your house is not in order oh not not the house that you're in right now i'm not talking about the bed being made up i'm not talking about the kitchen table being clean i'm talking about your spiritual house is your spiritual house in order your spiritual house is not in order you ought to get it in order today the bible says the day you hear my voice harden not your heart somebody listening today is jesus knocking at your door today is jesus reminding you that if you are in me and your my words are in you you can ask whatever you will and it will be grant it'll be all right you have not accepted jesus as the lord of your life it's the perfect day to do that perfect day to do that perfect way to do that we we believe that you come by believing that jesus christ is the son of god we believe that you come by confessing that jesus christ is the son of god we believe that you come by repenting of your sins saying i i no longer want to be in charge of my life i want jesus in charge of my life we believe you come by going down in the watery grave of baptism god's operating room let him rip away the old man and create a new man in you you can be clean you can be a new creature in christ jesus you straight away you straight away today you straight away today you have you have you haven't you haven't been serving the lord you strayed away today you need to come back and ask the savior to be your shepherd he'll do it i'm telling you he'll do it you just need prayer today you're sitting at a computer you're behind some cell phone just type it in we want to pray for you we care whatever whatever your requests are whatever your request whatever your request right now we want to sing a song of invitation and if god will lead you you come as we sing the song of the invitation god has on me and he has set me free oh my god [Music] he smiled on me my god [Music] god has his smile he smiled on me i know [Music] that we'd like to thank brother tillman for the message the bible tells us that it's written that i was young and elmo but i've never seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging bread that makes me feel good it makes me less fearful and i appreciate the message john in a true sense that your relationship with god can positively or negatively affect the relationship with god and your children so in a true sense if you need to get it right it's not just about you you could be blessing your entire family so if you are at home if you like to make a statement online if you like to call and talk with someone if you need prayer if you need to be baptized this is an opportunity to do it and feel free to either make a statement online to make a phone call but god is good and it's true in his word but the writer says he's never righteous forsaken for his children begging for it i have children and it's a blessing the thought even if i cannot control what's around me that my relationship with god can possibly affect the relationship of my children with god so i want to be right because i need god to bless my family i need god to bless my house i need god to bless all around me i need to come a little closer as we switch gears at this time i love the fact i've said it before that when all my children come home and we get to sit at the table and eat together in one accord but when we eat at home it's just to celebrate them but god tells us even a more intimate setting that he did so much for us and all he wants us to do is remember him the fact that he died that he was buried and he raised up from the dead for us for me and it is written if you have your communion at your home you're welcome to open it up at this time but i'd also like to pause that uh the church is giving away communion to you if you chose you're welcome to come to the building on fridays and saturdays fridays and saturdays they're giving communion so you are able to come and sup with us on the lord today again on every friday and every saturday we'll take uh we're taking our scripture from first corinthians this 11th chapter starting with the 23rd first it reads i have received of the lord which also deliver unto you that the lord jesus the same night in which he was portrayed took bread and when he had given thanks he broke it and said take eat this is my body which is broken for you this do you in remembrance of me after the same manner he also took the cup and when he had sucked saying this cup is the new testament of my blood this do you as oft as you drink it in remembrance of me for everything that you've done for us and everything that you're doing for us lord help us to honor you help us to honor your presence help us to remember that you died for us so that we through your son might have a right to the tree of life so god help us to take this bread and drink this cup and help us to be worthy of this blessing these and so many other blessings who asked of you in jesus name you for this day god we thank you for our jobs we thank you for the monies and the things you bless us with dear father help us lord to never get so complacent to assume that it's our doing but remind us dear father that is you blessing us and help us to father to share our blessings back with you as we help those who are in the show you that we love you by our tithes and offerings these and so many other blessings we asked of you jesus then we pray amen again we'd like to thank you and welcome you for being a part of our worship service and i feel so good with brother tillman i'm seeing people that are in a real sense sneaking in or slipping in to worship uh may god bless you uh and in a big sense uh it would be so hard for me to be at home and hearing and and seeing worship from afar but we understand the difficult situation that we're in but again we as john had mentioned put god first fear is there and sometimes i think fear may be a distraction for us to keep from following after god do not let fear control you you should control it put god first in everything you do we're not encouraging you to be unwise we want you to live a life without fear because god is should be the control of our lives but let's be careful out there it's not a week that goes by that this family does not hear some of our loved ones contract the disease and it is so easy for us to be in fear but we need to put god first and i think uh john may uh know better than i almost every week of the last five or six weeks someone in this family or related to this family has had to go to the graveyard so in the real sense we need to put god first because any day be someone else we love and i'd i think you'd rather be able to tell god i tried to serve him and worship him in spite of this pandemic than to be running with fear so let's get let's be careful out there let's be safe let's put god first all right we're going to ask uh brother to lead our hearts in prayer and we will be
