Giving Thanks is Faith in Action - Prophet Kobus

go to Philippians 4 and first set Thessalonians right if you got the places would you and they say this is God's holy word inspired by the Holy Ghost and tonight I've got an open ear a receptive heart all men the Lord is it n be careful for nothing but in everything by prayer okay 1st Thessalonians 5 verse 17 pray without ceasing Philippians 4 be careful for nothing for 6 but in everything in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God Thessalonians verse 18 in everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you Philippians 4 verse 7 and the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and your minds verse 9 those things which I have both learned and received and heard and see me do and the God of peace shall be with you Thessalonians verse 23 and the very God of peace sanctify you wholly and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of Thanksgiving then Thessalonians comes and he says something else he says in everything give thanks okay so I want to say a few things about the with Thanksgiving and the in Thanksgiving I mean I want the peace of God in my life daily I want the God of peace with me daily I want to see how God will protect God and keep me I want to see how God must sanctify me holy is these things in your life that you want to be want to ever see them sanctifying God are you totally happy with your life or is there still some things I wish I think and leave me now here's a promise that you don't have to do it God will do it God will sanctify you wholly what does he say God will preserve you blameless not you I mean how do we try to keep ourselves blameless come on church just look intelligent how do we try to keep ourselves learn how do we try to do to sanctify ourselves now here's a promise that God will do the sanctification God will keep you blameless God will help you to be the person you wanted to be but just before that he says but you get there you must always rejoice you must always pray you must get the peace of God in your life you mustn't be anxious is that now anxiety is the total opposite of peace now Philippians says be anxious for nothing so to get to this order the first thing is you might get anxiety out of your life because you if you're anxious it means you lost the peace if you've got the peace it means anxiety has left you so how do I get to this place where I'll have that where I get the God of peace to work for me to sanctify me and keep me blameless the keys God doesn't say rejoice always pray always and thank always come on let's just look at the scripture says they're rejoicing and the praying must be with Thanksgiving it's not a separate thing who see what I'm trying to say then Thessalonians comes this is in your rejoicing and praying it must be in everything what you rejoice in everything which you pray you must think and give thanks in it now this worth and Amy is like in Ephesians where it talks about the full armor of God take upon you the full armor of God that you may be able to withstand understanding that evil day they see above all come on we got a scripture in Hebrews 11 verse 1 that says now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen so faith is not for something I got so you don't say oh thank you for what you've done if he hasn't done anything if you don't say thank you for receiving if you haven't received so if I haven't got it and I'm using my prayer life to get it and instead of saying oh god please do this I exchanged the please do with thank you it means by faith I take it that I've already got it is that fine we can't do everything but in the late 80s we had the tent alongside the highway and one day in praying I saw this vision so there is a throne of Almighty God this spirit God Almighty on the throne and I saw glory you know like as ayah six I saw the Lord in his holy temple and his train filled the temple and the angels were around the throne and you know they were crying holy holy is the Lord God Almighty and then a voice came when they were crying holy holy and it said their whole earth you can say it if you know it the whole earth is filled with his glory now I wanna ask you as aisles been written a few thousand years ago why is it that they they already said the whole earth is filled with his glory why is it that we don't see it yet maybe something is still missing because when they were flying around the throne they cried the whole earth is filled with his glory after they say the holy holy holy and I prayed and God got caught me up and I saw this vision there was this big round perfect cloud ready to burst and glory was coming from this cloud and I look closely and I saw but it said prayer and I realized hey prayer is an awesome tool demands of a mighty God and God said throughout the ages people has been taught how to pray and a lot of glory has been revealed throughout the ages because of men of Prayer the John Hyde the Francis of Assisi's the seven are rollers the medallions and all these people knew how to pray but God said then later years and other clouds started coming above the throne and it started radiating the glory of God and it was praised for many years people didn't praise they complained when they came to church it was a very very dark place to go to even in the Dark Ages because they prayed a lot but they didn't know the power of praise and God said now for years glory was revealed and the earth felt the power they off how Charles Finley prayed and got revivals said then people started praising and we got like the charismatic renewal and people started having you know bands on the stage and more than just one singer they started having a group of singers on the stage and God said more glory is now revealed and here in the side was this little old cloud wrinkled up Wow what's it so I had to squint my eyes and come real close so they the words was they but you had to look close because you couldn't really make out what it said because it was wrinkled up and so as I came closer I look and he said thank God say to me imagine if that cloud can look like those two and God is Father Son Holy Ghost you are spurred so body and you know and and if we can take that God is imagine if this will look like that and we can get that combination imagine how the earth will be filled with my glory that's what the angel saw and cried out thousand years before we were here now imagine if somebody can get the revelation and realize the power of Thanksgiving what will be on the earth if we don't complain and moan and groan and be anxious for things but we go to God by faith and say thank you Father for doing this thank you God for doing this I use my faith and God sees imagine the glory that will be revealed so I say the key to get those promises the key to get the glory is Thanksgiving can you say that the key is Thanksgiving so it's not praying and then thanking God he's praying with it's not praying and then thanking God it's praying and in Thanksgiving so my whole attitude and pray is Thanksgiving my whole prayer is with with Thanksgiving it's not thanking him because I prayed it's thanking him with my prayer so when I pray instead of praying and then saying thank you I combined the two and I make the prayer a prayer of thanksgiving okay now how many have ever heard we sing songs and we use cliches like magnify the Lord like praise the Lord have you ever heard statements like me how can you magnify the Lord I mean he's already big magnify means you enlarge that means in my estimation I must make him so big that there is nothing that will be able to touch him again after I see now be is you he must be so big in my mind that there will be nothing too big for him to do for me so I think it sounds 69th 30 that says magnify the Lord then it tells us exactly how to with Thanksgiving so the magnification is with thank you so my Thanksgiving is magnifying him praise we say praise so how do I praise so Hebrews 13:15 comes in he says let us continually offer a sacrifice of praise let us continually offer a sacrifice of praise that is the fruit of the lips then confess his name that is Thanksgiving she want to check it out somebody so it says if my Thanksgiving is my praise if I want to praise you I don't come and say praise you new praise you new I mean he's done something good me I want to praise him now I say we just want to praise new tonight because you know I'm gonna get what I do not yet see so faith is magnifying God by thanking him in advance for the things that I do not even know yet if I'm gonna have it Psalm 95 how is this working there's a banner it yeah this inscription on the wall God's presence brings life we had a banner at a time it's the presence of God that brings life so if we want our praise to answer to be answered we must get into I'll give thanks to the God of heaven for his mercy endureth for ever when I go to God each with Thanksgiving when I enter through the different places each with Thanksgiving when I get there it's worth Thanksgiving when I see him I thank him what I want to tell him is good I thank him so Thanksgiving is not just a means to an end Thanksgiving is the highest form of praise worship adoration okay what is your prayer life look like is it air of anxiety something is wrong the doctor said you've got cancer of the lung now all of a sudden anxiety hits you and now you got and you phony and you're emailing and you're is amazing and you're doing everything because now everybody must know you've got cancer now now all of us crying all agree for the cancer but be anxious for nothing but when you pray let it be with Thanksgiving so I go to the Father so Thanksgiving takes me through it takes me in it takes me there it keeps me there or father I thank you for your good your mercy senior forever I thank you with your stripes Jesus I'm healed I thank you for setting me free from this thing that the doctors called lung cancer thank you my body is a temple of the Holy Ghost thank you for perfection health and beauty thank you that the good work you started you will complete thank you that you're gonna preserve my whole spirit soul and body thank you thank you that I'm gonna be blameless thank you what did the doctor say I don't know what he said but I feel very good right now but if we can change all our prayers to Thanksgiving if you can change all our praise and worship and let it be a flavor of Thanksgiving imagine if that third cloud is bursting with glory what we gonna feel on the earth we will not struggle to get answers let's look at the life of Jesus John chapter six now remember at the Last Supper just before Jesus went to the cross he took Braden broker to say this is my body broken for you took a cup and said this is the New Testament in my blood remember but how did he start the meal the Bible says he looked up and gave thanks and said this is my body in Matthew Mark and John and first Corinthians chapter 11 he gave thanks and said this is my body they said father thank you that I can go to the cross so disciples this is my body he didn't pray he thanked now look at John chapter 6 it's the story of 5,000 people on the mountain and now they're already hungry and it's late and there's no place to go bye and good to go and by foodie first eleven then Jesus took the loaves and when he had given thanks he distributed to the disciples now some other boats from Tiberias had come in near the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks is there anybody that can see that I mean it must have been so powerful that the next day the thing they talked about was did you see how he lifted up his head did you yeah he just said thank you Father and he broke the bread so the next day they said they came together where the Lord broke the bread after he gave things in that must have been also teachers out who pray go to John 11 Nazareth is now dead for days verse 39 jesus said take away the stone Martha the sister of the dead man explained Lord he throws of an offense of odor verse 40 jesus said to her did I not tell you and promise you that if you would believe in rouen me you would see the glory of God so they took away the stone and Jesus lifted up his eyes and said father I thank you that you have heard me now this is not praying for a headache this is a man that's been dead for days sealed behind a stone and want to do good the evil is always present remember that scripture and we can use that scripture but see how Paul got out of the thing promise seven verse 24 he says o wretched man that I am Who Shall deliver me from the body of this death now look at verse 25 oh thank god brackets evil through Jesus Christ see anybody that can see what I'm trying to read you Paul says whenever I want to do good I always find the evil prison so with my mind I serve the law of God but in my flesh I serve the law of my members and I struggle who is gonna deliver me he's just asking he's not complaining this is asking a decent question how am I gonna get the victory and all of a sudden it hit him thank God come on just get it who is gonna deliver me what must I do what must I still do must I go on another fast must what must I do to get victory light goes on thank God thank God isn't that in first Corinthians 15 where Paul talks about how he will bear the image of the heavenly oft where the image of the earthy then he comes to verse chapter 15 verse 57 and he said thanks be unto God who always gives us the victory thanks be unto God so he doesn't pray for victory he said thanks for giving us the victory in advance for what we've been through and for what's coming okay don't miss that one so I thank of what I've been through and helping I'm thank you for taking me through Ford's going so if I'm living a life of Thanksgiving I will go through everything in everything give thanks second corinthians verse 14 says now thanks be unto God which always causes us to triumph in Christ Jesus and God who always makes us to triumph what a prayer oh god please keep me victory tomorrow what about I thank you that you always give me the victory thank you that you're always hurt thank you imagine how your prayer life would change you get rid of the stress because peace will take over you get rid of anxiety because peace will take over you will be rejoicing because you've got the key it's worth Thanksgiving say if you pray positively with Thanksgiving God rules so Colossians 4:2 says something you don't have to go there he says pray continually or pray without ceasing pens which translation you have a pray continuously watching in it with Thanksgiving I just put it thanks is the watch over your prayer life you know we've got security watches watching your house that when you're on holiday nobody were breaking Thanksgiving is watching over your prayer life to see that it's gonna coming to fulfillment turn verses why did Jesus get one answer after the other why didn't he never struggle because he didn't pray he thanked I praise you Father that you've hidden this from wise men what does that the gospel say I thank you Father do you think one prays I think you so praise these things how do you pray somebody you thank you it's very simple it's as simple you can get it so Thanksgiving is the watch over your prayer life to see that it's gonna come and be answered remember when the walls were being rebuilt in the days of Nehemiah remember and they had to rebuild the walls and you must go read I think it must be chapter 12 of Nehemiah at a time I loved that three voting all the walls I loved the street sermons out of it years ago but if you read the rebuilding of the walls you come to me Maya chapter 12 he keep kept on saying verse after verse after verse he said now let the people thank God at that war and watch in it over the other wall while they watch with Thanksgiving and you must give us go read it and go read it in different he said they must thank God by watching and I must watch by thanking and I must thank by watching of the most watched by thanking and so the walls will be rebuilt so while they both I must say oh thank you that we can rebuild the walls watching so Nehemiah said listen if we rebuild the walls Thanksgiving and watching so Thanksgiving is your watch so if they were not thankful they would have started murmuring if they would have started murmuring the attention would have not been at the work and watching because if your murmur you relax your alertness because you become aware of your problems and you miss the fact that you must be alert but if you say thank you it's like something comes out of you something comes back to you thank you thank you it cost you nothing to say thank you thank you Jesus that you came thank you Father for paying that price and giving your son thank you for the blood thank you for the wounds thank you for the Holy Ghost what will it cost if you spend some time just thanking God and before you
