GHOST CASTLE! 👻 🏰 TRAPS! SPOOKS! Who will ESCAPE? | Show of the Weekend

hello everyone welcome to a very special show of the weekend greetings foolish mortals and welcome to the ghost castle luke's missing and he's been trapped in this castle so we yeah he's the ghost now luke died he's a ghost now so uh now we have to escape his wrath as we do a show of the weekend without him we're gonna be playing ghost castle which is an old board game from the past um but it's uh it's a lot of fun it's like a spooky mousetrap so if i can introduce you to the game board yes at the top we have the ghost here i can i can read you the law if you would like to hear it yes please keep it brief then you are paranormal investigators hired to find out if the legend of the haunted ghost castle is true and to record any strange goings on inside okay trouble is it's all true having made your way upstairs you've accidentally woken the mean-spirited ghost of count spooks-a-lot from a decade-long sleep wait did he go he went to sleep in 2011 to prepare prepare for the london olympics he's woken up and he's mad he missed he loves the long jump i wanted to see it he is determined to get revenge by trapping you in his castle forever castle speaks a lot not all of you will escape so you must race each other down the stairs and through the danger-filled rooms to get out of the castle as quickly as possible don't get left behind so this is the ghost of count spooks a lot okay contained within him is a ball and when somebody suffered some you press down on count spooks a lot and the ball drops into a ball randomizer which will drop the ball into one of four different traps and trigger it we have the staircase okay and that's just a regular the ball will bounce down the steps in fact let me get the ball out the so will go down the steps there if uh it goes into the library it will drop into this little gundle here which will flip this portrait and that will knock over any players on the other behind but there's a shortcut right if you're on yes if you're on either of these two spaces with the star you can use that as a shortcut to go through the other room there is also a little tunnel if we get a shot of that in the bookcase the ball will run out of here and it'll knock over uh anyone in the red zone there and then finally we have over this side there is an axe which is probably easiest if i show you if you're standing on the wobbly floor the axe comes down and it will knock over your player like that and then at the end of your turn if you've used the thing you replace the ball inside count sweeps a lot just reload him there you go so those are the four different death traps that can be triggered in ghost castle now we've all chosen our characters yes we're playing as teams of paranormal investigators talk us through your characters okay i have chosen john if you're short of these folks this sort of uh i have no idea what his deal is but he's got a eyeball staff and some garlic and i guess she's kind of a fortune teller situation she's got going on here so they seem like they should be attuned to the spirits i feel like they should uh should hold me in good stead so i'm gonna place them up in the attic which is where we begin i've chosen me with me with my signature gray hoodie and my brown curly hair yeah and the other one is icarly yeah the tv show on carly what's that she's holding some sort of that's her that's her vlogging laptop probably yeah cool she edits her they're kind of like tomb raider looking like you know grandpa indiana grandpa indiana jones and his granddaughter who is carrying on the family yes yeah they're finally very very large they've drawn on combat trousers though no i think they've just added some definition edit they both look a little bit cartoonized indiana jones the wilderness years so the way the game works is we have a dice you roll the dice and if you get a number you then proceed that number of steps forward uh if you roll a ghost you have to trigger the ghost uh but only if there are people in the red zones if you end your turn in a red zone you also have to hit the ghost oh so there's a one in four chance that you'll be getting not you'll get knocked down if you get knocked down you have to return to the closest blue to checkpoint yeah so and that's like your checkpoint and the aim of the game is to get both of your paranormal investigators to the exit door which is down there on the other side of the ghost castle uh you can move one of your players per tone you can't move both per turn and yeah the idea is to try and keep them out of the trap zones when there's a chance they could be gone how did they get in the attic they parachuted in no it's fine they got into the attic but then they destroyed the ghost the ghost was in the attic and now now it's all gotten to come together yeah that's yeah you gotta we all got up there first [Music] ghost which is in uh the the english version of numbers yeah the haunted manning i'm gonna swap my cluedo dice for that okay so here we go four oh that's a great rule yes so please like charles here we're gonna call him one two three oh you're on the stairs though which means you're gonna press the ghost instead of pressing okay you're safe oh safe safe absolutely safe put the ball back in shove that ball right up that ghost yeah no no no you're going to be loaded you got to push it in it'll click [Music] yes it is all right one oh hi carly all right oh i roll the ball so if the guy shows the ghost icon on your roll you must drop the ball into the chimney instead of moving a porn okay it pains you to do it that's ghost castle smashed his legs to me yeah he was crushed horribly crushed his old his old ball avoiding skills yeah like not what they once were wow sorry about it sorry about it that's my entire goal so let's keep going three you're gonna move charles again there we go right getting down the stairs to start is one of the bigger challenges i go two one two okay and one oh man yeah so one indiana charles goes [Music] will you move up mike or will he move icarly uh i'm gonna yeah i'm gonna keep my squad together move that sensible sensor two okay let's get let's get you down um actually should we no let's move up the lady to wait and also this is another thing actually it says if you land on the same uh if your pawn ends move on a space that's already occupied by another pawn it jumps forward to the next available space okay so i jump her to there and then she will move forward one onto the top step of the stairs there we go sorry the top seventh step yeah so this leaked frog she's just peeking over the scene that's fine she's about to get obliterated by a ghost just in there oh that's a great role you're gonna get a big horrible spider there's a lot of spiders yeah i don't think that i would uh live here i have a question even what happened if the ball rolls out of the stairs and like takes indiana charles out uh it doesn't matter it's only if you're on a road i i like the element of ram four all right let's go one two three four i'm still on the stairs though on i'm still on the stairs it's risky oh it's a four he is it madame madam speaks madam spook two three four i'm just trying to get her off the stairs oh it's precarious don't roll a ghost ellen please don't roll the dough seven whatever you telling you don't roll with this thank you one two three okay come on icarly let's get you off these stairs one oh well at least i move forward yeah i leap frog leapfrog there you go all right i wanted to be off those stairs two yes get off take her off the stairs one two okay safety okay ellen about that ghost don't roll it [Applause] oh my gosh the revenge of count spooks a lot oh you hate to see what happened to get back on the horse one two three four you might notice this that's a three two three are you gonna get your other guy in player i'm gonna move [Music] just nice and safe and then i'm going to make another run of the stairs with professor von speakington oh evan it's okay my kids got a one and four times it's fine okay okay the ghost is reloaded right two okay icarly oh one two i just wanna get off these stairs all right let's see two is it time to bring professor von spookington [Music] i think i'm going to bring myself into play four grey rule one two three four lovely okay stop rolling ghosts one that's fine i'm gonna bring it into play and jump in yeah all right okay i'm gonna leave for you all right get off the stairs yes and one [Music] would conduct his experiments on paranormal investigators this is where you will be experimented on if you do not escape the ghost cast well i've rolled one and i'm just gonna i'm just gonna move icarly okay that's a two so let's move one two uh oh skipping running along it's a valid strategy you don't have to trigger the trap four yeah that's what i'm looking for one two three four oh that's right dead center in the middle of the stairs but i am going to move forward and when no way [Music] charles is killed what an absolute winning team like sticking together like absolute champs oh it's the cheeky extra move it's the cheeky extra move all right now we're ready three yes please one two lucky in the safe zone there you go the only one with someone still left in the attic yeah one all right i'm going to take this guy into the let's check your room [Laughter] he we're now in the library where count spokes a lot would collect rare and evil books okay across the love cross time some kind of evil owl you've just left one of your team behind she's alright she's on her way she's on her way all right here we go it's four one two three four my team are sticking together yeah best response what heroes do okay we've got three so one two three just on the edge of the trap then you see you can take the long way around and avoid trap but this trap hasn't actually triggered yet so i'm thinking maybe the randomizer's set up wrong there we go oh she's on the move she's on the move all right four yes please one two three four very good ghost is anyone on the red though no no one's on the red zone and there's peering down the stairs staring down the barrel of the stair trap now [Music] go for it i need to roll some numbers no just back to bank ghosts yeah four rule still on those stairs though oh no no all the excitement she tripped over the final that last step oh it's a four four is forever lovely one two three i'm getting in the red zone i don't even care okay so if if if your pawn ends its move on a danger zone space uh you must press the button on top of the ghost head to make him drop the ball [Music] no it was a strategic move back up to the attic back up to the attic with you all right here i go one two two this is just peeking really struggling with stairs as well okay a one ah i'm gonna go one okay and i'm gonna press the button and hopefully i'll get a shortcut right oh no is it the axe again there you go all right let's get out of this danger zone friend four yes one sorry and we've got someone through to the next zone which i believe is the portrait [Music] gallery no ellen you've played yourself she's going to be in the attic she lives there now count speaks a lot he's taking a shine all right all right fine get out of here your team absolutely clattered both oh my goodness finally finally the bookcase one works the case of damocles wreaked its terrible vengeance i can't believe that's the first time it's worked in the entire game both of you are in the zone yeah i thought it was so clever all right two let's get you past this okay but you're gonna press that button oh you're unbelievable and now now that's what i wanted to happen you can immediately take the shortcut through to the gallery even if it's not your turn move your pawn onto the special green space with a white star in the gallery there he is you've run across the gallery yeah yeah out of the danger zone whenever it is gone through the secret shortcut in the game this could not have gone better like i know two right one two there's like there's there's no way like even if it was a six sided like a sixth die one two three i'm in the danger zone hit it no hit it oh the axe okay four nice great okay so andy's dominating this yes it's all that arcade knowledge that andy's accumulated over the many years that would be in the in the splash zone actually they're both gonna be they're either gonna both of them gonna be in the slash thing regardless so let's just move [Music] [Laughter] [Music] one two three afraid it's back to the immediately killed she's immediately killed by the poor one off we go charles four yes please we're the future charles not them all right one two three four right all right it portrait smashing land lucky it's a one saying adam spooks moves forward one looks like hello spooks a lot didn't even consider it man it's gonna be a real carnage when we get to that action my turn yeah all right oh it's a one oh you're still in the name maintaining danger yeah go on then i've gotta press the button gonna press it oh bookcase bookcase bookcase what a rare track yeah four yes one two three four bam out of danger thank you very much i can't believe you did that to me i can't believe you've done this four one two three four library nail it right what have we got here three one two three all right i'm in a safe zone i'm liking it three let's move this fella one two three four [Music] okay like you're on a short shortcut in the short cut space my heroic team oh it's a four it's a four kind of icarly be brave are you going on the wobbly walkway three four yes i'm on the wall oh let's okay i'm gonna get launched attacks comes down sure but well hit it oh yeah i actually press the button absolutely launched into space two two into the danger zone okay you're gonna press that button or what i guess so damn it oh [Music] the ghosts get all tired of killing us [Music] hit that [Music] so i could move this person into safety but i want to land in the danger zone because i want to try and get mike off the hey [Laughter] roller ghost [Music] leave me alone leave me in my wobbly platform alone either either move is going to put someone in the danger zone no that's two yeah four okay i'm right next to so i just need to roll a one to get [Music] she's free to make another vlog there's a little there's a little door so she's out the door but what about mike junior it's free to vlog another day uh i don't get to roll again she's going to edit it one all right three all right i might go four go for the wobbly walkway here's that button oh safe come on mike junior four another four i'm rolling well today one two three four all right they just stacked up on the wobbly walkway all right three let's go one straight into the danger two three danger zone hit it go no when is it ever the bookcase four okay [Music] mike junior and he dies [Music] [Music] going one two three four going down the wobbly walkway nothing can stop me yes it says see the axe just hasn't been getting much action it doesn't make any sense give me that one no yes mike has escaped no sucks for you losers i'm going to bar the door behind me no all right well council week slot's only going to murder one group of people so let's see who yes about me and i kylie god this is such a long corridor [Music] okay we're good the thrilling climax who will be left in the mansion wait hang on come on not that no no i hear a sound from outside the mansion oh it sounds like someone got murdered why aren't you calling the police i'm just not interested in doing that [Music] finally the bookshelf is in play four again one two three four next to the door let's stack up breaching clear yeah three one two three childhood chances out yay i think andy secretly wants to live in the ghost castle forever one i think it's extremely unbrand for him three okay okay one two three four one two three four and then in front just get over me cool here's that axe four it's a good roll one two three four that's a good ghost noise one oh oh [Music] [Laughter] i need a two don't get a two don't get it two i need a two sided no no no no no no no no no no no with my last breath my curse spooks a lot right on there good painting okay good good good good three no three one two three please please please fell off the roof okay okay okay [Applause] very okay and like struggling and screaming no she's dragged back into the mansion no no she's dragged back through into the laboratory where she will be experimented on forever [Music] just look unhappy about it though she's got a little bit of smoke going yeah she can that's how madame leota got in the haunted mansion they became friends
