the channel you're watching this video on outside extra is five years old today both luke and i have had a blast making videos drawing pikachus and so much more since the day this channel went live half a decade ago half decade all my bones in that time we've published over a thousand videos welcomed more than 900 000 subscribers and achieved a b grade on youtube tracking platform socialblade beats the hell out of a c we'll take it we wanted to mark the occasion of five years on youtube by getting together with our parent channel outside xbox to fondly recall some of our favorite outside extra moments mike jane and andy have each picked a precious memory or presh mem if you will and luke and i have each picked two to make up the traditional seven we thought it would be a nice way to look back and a lovely birthday gift to ourselves for what's the greatest gift that you can give a professional scriptwriter a clip show dishonored two like the whole disadvantage series is all about choice you're given multiple routes to take so all of these questions will have multiple choice answers so that's something i might guess i'm right yeah the best thing um it's the best so question one a guard is in front of you by a ledge do you deal with him by a murdering him and pushing him off the edge or b possessing him and making him walk off the edge does he have to come off the edge this is the multiple these are the choices i immediately wish it wasn't multiple choices if i possess him and make him walk off the ledge to his death is he like what's taking control of my body i'm helpless or is he like completely unconscious like now i am possessed like zombie start is he sort of aware he's being possessed they they kind of like are aware of it afterwards so you could possibly afterwards there's not going to be an afterwards well you possess him make him walk off unpossessive and then he wakes up as he's falling to his death yeah but i wouldn't have to i could just keep him possessed the best way i think i would probably just go for the shove it's it's somehow cleaner right more efficient yeah well actually you do just choke him out and leave him uh you don't have to little hands again i'm so glad i've got this real immersive experience of falling from something really high i've got to go carefully here so that i don't die again because i do not want to do this i you there we were planning so hard for e3 2019. very hard it's all kicking off so hard in the los angeles convention center here we are no no no no no no if you can't there now they know we're at to acknowledge them [Music] what is the one thing that you wish people understood about the haunted mansion oh well how long do you have luke really very interesting ride actually um when they were developing it obviously there was a significant tension between the imagineers who wanted to make it scary and the ones who wanted to make it funny there were two sort of main imagineers who were in charge of the development of the mansion there was claw coats and mark davis claude coates was a uh concept artist who worked on a uh a lot of stuff around the park and he was really went in for this kind of a dark version of the haunted mansion whereas mark davis he was more of a gag man he developed things like the uh the changing paintings in the in the hallways downstairs and he really thought that it should be a sort of a funny and a silly kind of uh haunted mansion so actually when you ride the ride you'll notice the way they've done it is the ride actually transitions from the start when it's very spooky then the ghosts they come out to socialize thanks to madame leota's influence and then at the end of the ride it's all uh silly and and funny and there's a lot of like gag stuff happening so really i mean it's it's one of the most interesting rides [Music] hello everyone hey yes welcome over there in your special frame here i am in my special frame gosh aren't i fancy yeah so well ellen it's the big one it's it is the big one it is the big one i've been prepping i've been doing some bits and bobs oh dang it how how dark souls okay there's one i thought it was gonna hit the to see the egg room i'm sure this is going to be all good and normal okay i'm being led on some kind of scavenger hunt that is going to end in my murder if you don't hear from me i'm in the egg room i certainly i would there there were certainly a lot of choices for every occasion i'm not sure i would say for every occasion i really feel like there's one occasion that's catered to here and it's the ellen i'm really scared [Music] okay when the trailer initially dropped yes some wondered what would happen if bowser picked up the super crown and thus bowsette was born bringing life to a lot of amazing fan art much of which we will never be able to show on youtube yeah some of it's like oh that's really cool and this one was like somebody's like oh delete my browser for my bowser history nice very good uh but luke please yeah pick a number okay between one and six yeah the character you choose will then be the one that you must draw as their princess et form oh my gosh well try and make my drawing safe for work yes try unlike everything else yeah i can't promise anything number this is slander number between one and six right yeah i'll pick two okay two you have to draw yeah yoshi yoshi princess yoshi oh yoshi finally getting a break oh that's nice that's nice for yoshi this is going to be a challenge of remembering what yoshi looks like and then princesses would you i'll give you i'll give you no no no no no no i would rather go purely on instinct i think i i think i remember well enough okay i remember that his nose is basically a bigger orb yes that's mostly what i remember [Music] okay and i think i'm about done ready to talk you through it yeah when yoshi gets the crown this is what you get oh is that a diamond encrusted shell yes yeah it is because yo she's shell yeah that's right oh no andy's here we're doing normal things [Laughter] what on earth have you drawn we're doing normal things i'm a normal adult man [Laughter] are you not up on internet culture like us like me that was extremely not my but it's yoshi and look looks like to the untrained guy now yoshi has ugly blobby hands which i don't like which i've replaced no dinosaur claws but still in the tasteful white gloves because princess and you'll see in yoshi's tongue where once there was basic fruit there is now a scepter that yoshet will use to um wallop people about the head with if they dare to cross her or just please her in court i think it's pretty much flawless 10 on 10. are you happy enough ellen hopefully yeah yes all right well we can all agree that that's good
