was a certain kind of candy flying through the air and i said i bet the machine that makes that candy fly through the air could be 3d printed i reached out to fernando you know i'm as dsk001 entered i interviewed him at irf right sean he's a good dude um he modeled it up and uh i was trying to print it on my taz 6 with my it works 3d tool head i tweeted about that months ago because that tool head just ate itself i have to send that tool head back to zack at it works 3d and the task 6 has a new home i just have to find a box to send it off so this project is slated for the craft craftbot flow idex xl it could be the craft bot idex flow xl because it's the flow generation it could be the craftbot xl flow idex float x florida florida no no no florida florida uh youtube studio it's giving me an error about key frames apparently i have too many key frames i don't know i'll check i'll i'll check the obs yeah yeah i'm just telling you what it's telling me i i don't know anything else i really don't i don't know anything else it's telling me too many key frames too many keyframes i honestly once once sean gets done drafting he'll be over here and he'll take care of all of this right and so all of his 3d printers run off solar and andrew barth modeled the whole thing from a 3d scan that's right so that apollo 11 door that adam savage put together with the parts from everywhere andrew barth modeled that from a 3d scan hey sean why is the main camera so dark like dc dark is it that dark i should know should we adjust uh are you gonna do it in there okay sean is uh he's calibration yep so the nozzle the nozzle goes into this hole on the build plate and then it taps it left right back front and then it knows where it's at and then it sends this extruder over and the nozzle taps in the hole front back left right and then it knows where it's at as well so rather than i think having to dial in where each nozzle is relative to each other i think it's automated if i remember right i was talking to uh craftbot at rapid no at uh ah that was lovely that was a lovely sound bed leveling yeah okay assisted bed calibration okay it's preparing the bl touch and it is it's deployed and it has found it okay there we go oh oh you getting it yeah sweet so everything that it's doing right now it's doing without having loaded filament into the machine i find that fascinating to grip the filament but then it can't push it it can't push it through oh so it's just done i think well let's let's just see what happens you know yikes wow the motor is wow the motor over here is on fire so it may have been heat creep we might have got melted filament yeah because the motor is just it's like hot to the touch it hurts so there's a chance that um the the extrusion side the cold side got hot and the pla expanded in the jam wow feel the motor i'm serious am i gonna like have to go to the hospital after touching this it's just a lot hotter than it should be especially when you feel the other one what am i feeling with this right here yeah oh like considerably hotter yeah it's it's hot enough to my guess is cause some issues yep cool no it is not cool in fact well no i mean it's not really cool in any sense of the word so the motor is too hot to touch yeah so it is not the filament's fault well it could it there's a number of things that could have happened check it's on should have arrived working right correct is this direct drive yes this is direct drive on both sides yeah uh we've been streaming for a while and this is uh click on settings and choose fan somewhere no no so the fan on the hot end the one that creates that cool zone that break between the hot and cold zone yeah there should be no setting for that it should be an automatic thing once the hot end gets above 50c 40c the fan kicks on i gotcha and it's not or it should just be on with the machine like if there's no reason to not have it on and it's just not on uh listen i'm gonna talk to craftbot i think what we need to do we need to uh do a giveaway i think 286 responses to the giveaway and uh worldwide i just i'm so i'm so sad i wanted this to work i know i mean it was working until the fan like sure it'll go until it can't go no more right and uh i mean the quality so far what we've seen is good on the working side and the working side looks great yeah all right well uh unplug and plug
