foreign [Music] welcome back to pork chops rice and peaches I'm Noah and I'm Richard and we are here with a viewer request because uh multiple viewers requested many people in the comments of the uh two one-piece videos we have up so far uh are requesting that he react to the video the breathtaking world of One Piece and link to that will be in the description of this video to go check it out for yourself and follow along if you would like um so this is your this is your monthly one-piece fix to hold you over until we review the live action which we will be doing don't we have a trailer to do in the end of July potentially yes potentially we'll react to the second trailer but this yes this is the breathtaking world of One Piece it was um this is a ditched together it's almost like a documentary style like you know those nature docs where they're just like nature scenes sure with like little splurps it's kind of that um done for the the anime and it's animation before you start this yeah one of the things when we started this um and we started putting videos up if you go back way to the beginning with the really primitive stuff that we put up um when we invite people to make comments we've always said be polite be respectful be kind um and wow the one-piece Community holy smokes have you been nice you guys have been so nice you know what positive negative um making suggestions the whole bit you've been incredible I'm really impressed it's been it's been a fantastic experience better than Dune people [Laughter] so this is his reaction to the breathtaking world of one piece by straw hat five on YouTube you ready I'm ready let's see [Music] oh [Music] should call you I like the artwork thank you foreign but um if it's the world of pirates do do Western Pirates ever come into this universe do they hear about the Treasure of One Piece do they ever try to in so this is a good point that I didn't explain this to you at all what world the sixth place in okay this doesn't take place on Earth it takes place on N Earth so it's kind of like it's not like Harry Potter where it takes place in Earth but there's like Secrets right you know the secret uh side of living in our world it's not like one of those it's a it is a planet that is essentially Earth main oceans okay called it's the four blues the North Blue the South Blue the East blue the West Blue all right that's simple I don't know why my computer is doing this um and the it has a massive continent called the red line that goes around it that divides and uh that divides like the world in half and then there's another ocean okay called the Grand line and then there's a second half of it called the new world but are they are they connected I mean can you is there a Passage through all of them dangerous passages through all of them all right that's the thing okay that's what makes it that's what makes it so yeah right that's cool I like that transition [Applause] so we've got a little Industrial Revolution thing going on there in some places yeah yeah a little steampunk a little bit all right is that manga original or is that oh yeah okay yeah ever like there's only a few do you think breath of the wild skeletons there okay I like it can you find a korok on this okay so so well no no the text just said every year over 100 ships vanish in the mist and I'm thinking didn't they maybe ever get one where they said maybe we'll just there's a few Pirates Who turn around you know maybe this isn't right that does happen it does yeah there's a few that do that that's the world government that I talked to you about gotcha Flying Dutchman foreign okay so the uh the buildings and I know this is like 30 seconds ago in the video but but a lot of the buildings have both Japanese and English written on them so clearly there is a manga thing well but it's it's an invitation to expand the audience beyond the borders of Japan right and and so that it's it's kind of cool it's a little bit I don't want to say weird I I don't know if I've seen any buildings that have two different languages you know you know like you know the halls of Justice written in English and Spanish or something right yeah and Oddball thought sorry I think I think it also at the same time it like it's like the equivalent of a uh of a of a white person getting like Chinese symbols tattooed on their skin tranquility and peace when in reality just means I paid 300 for this you know but like I think correct me if I'm wrong but I think there's something like that where it's like it's just more unique for the Japanese audience as well okay to see stuff that's written in English and use the English words as well okay in some instances but it does have that side effect [Music] there's sunflowers in Japan it's a very Kansas thing it is that a dude with four Swords you talked about four sword fighting was that three three that was Zoro okay that was or that was the character good job thank you thank you very much I may not have the name Round of Applause in the comments for him oh so what I was reading through the comments today and I had forgotten the characters name was Zorro and I'm reading through the comments and people are talking about Zorro and I'm thinking to myself what the hell does Zorro have to do with it you know because because I grew up with the old black and white Zorro television show right yeah sorry I'll get caught up trust me I will I think we're in the species section now uh so all the animals species white whale black whale that was foreign [Applause] he was riding a bicycle out of water oh yeah he has ice powers okay because see he's making he's making ice because because he does not have Popeye arms I do not see a can of spinach I as far as I know he's the only one who runs out well you know foreign [Music] [Music] thank you yeah artwork truly is wonderful [Music] it has some gorgeous gorgeous scenery yeah I can see why people would watch this just for the just for the art some of this is from the movie so some of this is technically non-canon but at the same time a lot of this is from the anime okay a lot of gorgeous sunset shots well [Music] you know a lot of people have said you know read this read that you know read this Arc read the whole thing um I don't want to disappoint everybody but finally the time to do that will be really difficult um however in terms of watching this um oh those are Vikings remember how I said Viking uh giant Vikings yeah gotcha they got a little golfer's travels thing going on did they actually capture the giant Vikings oh yeah okay what is up with my oh where was that well it was way out there ah no that's okay your computer's going wonky today yeah I think it's low battery or it's the internet I don't know what it is so my my point being with that comment about you know reading versus watching all this is doing is cementing my reaction to the trailer that this is a universe I would enjoy following I I hope the TV show is a payoff because I don't have the time to do a lot of reading um is and if and if I do have time to do a lot of reading my reading list is huge there's a lot before it um foreign [Music] okay so in response to to one of the uh one of the commenters and on our last video um they were they were talking about there's a threat of conversation about the the English and dubbing in a different languages and everything I if one of the things that I like about this is that it was it was uh Japanese I'm assuming Japanese narration with English subtitles that was all I'm pretty sure all of that was pulled from the show okay so I absolutely love acting in a foreign language with English subtitles I I do I I have to I I do not like dubbed movies I I would rather listen to the to the vocal inflections and the vocal patterns and the intensity and the subtleties yeah of someone delivering a line in their native language even if I don't understand the words and I'll just read them on the bottom of the screen um and that is you know so if this entire series was done that way it would not know if the live action it would not have stopped me from watching it at all so um uh but that that's that's fantastic I could watch more of that okay oh most definitely I like that just for the artistic value it was it was really nice yeah the landscape shots and and that's I I'm pretty sure that's spruced up just a tad you know especially since it's all edited together but first off Straw Hat five did a fantastic job with it oh yeah um but yeah the the natural artwork of the uh of the of the anime when the anime takes the time to be like here's your establishing shot right it it it pulls off some some awesome nice shots nice so very nice yeah yeah I like it I you know I like it well it's it's it's refreshing to be introduced to something that that is one is quality to it's interesting it's fresh it's new it doesn't have any real fourth wall baggage right it doesn't it there's nothing to distract me yeah um and and so yeah that's good you need to to flash the your home screen up because of the film red well you know what when we're when we're when you've got your computer up and we're filming this is a little bit distracting but it's really a gorgeous picture it is an absolutely fantastic promo piece yeah that's the uh all right folks um you asked we delivered I hope the reaction uh was worth it I I really liked what I saw that's good that's good stuff yeah you know if they if they ever edit it down or if any of the careful what I say here if any of the fan projects I have edited the anime down to a more reasonable condensed form dense form okay I think I think you could you would probably enjoy that version of it probably if you liked the animation of that yeah probably yeah I know also let's address something you didn't know that Speed Racer was an anime I did not oh okay people all right you had no idea and hence the reason that video exists so when I was a kid I discovered Speed Racer and I watched Speed Racer I lived for Speed Racer I loved Speed Racer I did not know Speed Racer was anime I did not know that Speed Racer was dubbed into all kinds of different languages I did not know that the reason why the mouth went was so that you know you didn't have to match lips with you know sound and everything but I loved Speed Racer and I was so I started watching Speed Racer in the early 70s right um I didn't know it was anime until probably about 10 years ago and and so they say how how why was I wearing a Speed Racer t-shirt not knowing it was anime I just didn't I was just a kid who found a show that I loved maybe that's the reason why I have no problem with finding this and liking it you know so Racer X pops chim chimney well there you have it he reacted to the breathtaking world of One Piece if you ever want to get me a great Father's Day gift a steering wheel with alphabet
