So is the yellow band on the logo new or am I just oblivious?
story time.
ive been feeling nostalgic lately so i started rewatching oldschool gametheory starting from episode one, this lead to a discussion on my discord server about it and i learned that several people there used to watch gametheory but fell off because they like oldschool gametheory better then the modern stuff, today while i was in the middle of the 17th episode of gametheroy "can digdug pop a human" i got a notification for this episode of gametheory. I dont know what force cosmic coincidence lead to all of this recent focuse on gametheory classic in my life, just as a throwback episode comes out but whatever it was I found it hilarious
If you turn on subtitles in minecraft, and go swimming, it says something swims, suggesting that Steve might not be human
How else are you to get wood?
Since in the video it's 4 punches a second, we should also consider that a minecraft day/night cycle is 20 minutes, vs the real life 24 hours, which means that minecraft's time is 72 times faster than earth's time.
So 4 punches a second would be the equivalent of 288 punches that passed in minecraft. With 66,535 punches needed, divided by 288 equals 231.02 minecraft seconds.
Converting the time back to IRL and we have 3.21 IRL seconds that are needed. This is surprisingly close to the 3 seconds needed to break a wooden log by hand when you play the game.
Just a thought I had while watching, idk if it's helpful or if I missed up anything, but there you go. Feel free to correct me as necessary. Enjoyed the episode.
The Minecraft Oak tree seems to be closer to the Northern Red Oak than a Live Oak imo. The Red Oak grows tall (60+ ft) and wide where a Live Oak is shorter and even wider with branching starting lower and the main trunk stoping at the start of the branches. The Live Oak is also most common in the southern regions of the US where the Northern Red Oak is common in almost all regions. This leads me to believe that it would be more likely that it is in fact a Red Oak.
Well no shit
jojo references :)
