[Music] beloved Saint Alphonsus Liguori said to begin it end everything with a Hail Mary that was one wise man by the way so this begin with a Hail Mary Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus now when at the hour of our death Alleluia brothers and sisters if there's anything that we can say that's true today it's this Jesus loves his father amen do you love your father it is amazing when you think about it it's amazing for various reasons and in particular way today I find it so interesting that our beautiful Jesus speaks about the father and about joy in the same breath I find it very intriguing you see because the father is the source of joy and fact beloved to paraphrase st. Thomas Aquinas from the Summa to paraphrase st. Thomas in the heart of the Most Blessed Trinity is a fire an inferno of unending blazing joy amen and so be loved in heaven is for the joyful heaven is for the joyful and as we call it the beatific vision the beautiful vision the vision of joy I remember my novice master who is a wonderful fellow for the Sun Tan Pinto he was an Indian priests and a holy man he used to have like visions on a regular basis one of those guys you know what I mean and really holy fellow and he would tell us novices about one of the visions he had more than one occasion but he would gobber let him see heaven while he was in adoration and he would see the angels in heaven and there before the throne of the Father and if you don't really understand the joy of God see God is joy that's what he is he's joy he is a joyful love and a loving joy amen if you don't understand if you might imagine the Angels looking like plaster Paris statues you know with a white robe and just sort of going like this mmm and I say no way Jose the angels of God he said were dressed in brightly colored outfits not like the book of Hebrews by the way like the Bible in brightly covered vesture all different colors sung he said he had never seen on this earth of wide variety of colors and then he says they weren't standing still they were dancing and he saw them in the air spinning some forward in some backwards I was like Ezekiel doesn't it my goodness heaven is a hoot heaven is a fiesta amen that's why John Paul liked to go to Mexico because the Mexican Catholics they know how to fiesta amen when you face with the Lord you rejoice with all your heart amen it's an amazing and glorious place so much so that Jesus said I has not seen ear has not heard it is not so much as entered the mind of man what my father has planned for him in heaven amen so if you think you got it figured out you're wrong I'll put it this way imagine that heaven as beautiful as possible as colorful as beautiful with the best music in the best love and the best smiles imagine that and know that heaven is a billion times better than that Amen Alleluia but the best thing about heaven is our Father our Father and see I see that this is where our enemy has attacked the church big time he's attacked the whole world he's gone to destroy fatherhood off the face of the earth amen because you see every priest father and every married father we are meant to be reflections or icons of the heavenly father and what kind of men must we be to reflect the heavenly Father amen now be aware of this that the enemy he despises God the Father I mean I hate even to say these words he hates the father and the funny thing is God is his father too he hates his own father you see this is the greatest tragedy in the universe is the way that Lucifer which means angel of light how he rebelled against his own father can you imagine that if you imagine your daddy be in front of you even a perfect daddy and for lack of a better word you slap your father or you spit at your father this is what he did he actually said it's in sacred scripture behold I will place my throne above his and so be loved in we have an enemy in our midst he hates God the Father and he hates every human father and he's out to destroy every sacred image of fatherhood on the face of the earth amen and that's why he's out to destroy manhood and forgive me for being politically incorrect this is why we see the rise of homosexuality as part of the devil's fight against authentic manhood and fatherhood amen and this is something we don't to condemn anybody I had a relative who was a practicing homosexual he's been completely healed through the rosary completely healed amen I just should mention that because God can heal anyone of anything amen especially through the rosary amen and so beloved we need a restoration of fatherhood and that's why sacred scripture says in the last prophecy of the Old Testament right it says there in Malachi that in the end I will restore the hearts of the fathers to their sons and daughters I will restore the hearts of the children to their fathers does it say that the last prophecy in the Old Testament can only be fulfilled by Jesus Mary and Saint Joseph amen and so in our time beloved are a time in a special way besides the time with the flame of love I should mention Mary might say her number one helper Saint Joseph his time is coming and the Saints prophesy that in the final days Saint Joseph would finally arise to his rightful place in the Holy Catholic Church it's been happening hasn't it the last apparition of Fatima who appeared with mother Mary Saint Joseph in the last approved apparition whole day Joseph appeared with mother Mary holding the Christ child and what did he do he might remember what he did in that apparition he blessed the entire world but listen only two people can bless ordained the ordained and papas daddies can bless their own families amen is true even in the book of blessings from Rome there's one blessing reserved for lay people who are not ordained it's the blessing of fathers and mothers for their own children st. Joseph beloved he wasn't a priest ordained but he's the father of the human race amen and he blessed the whole world and then we saw a further development of this prophecy that Saint Joseph would arise to his place in the final days there's another interesting development you may not be aware of and as you were living through Vatican 2 I was just a little boy but you remember you know the litany that we use right the divine praises at the end of adoration blessed be God blessed be his holy name blessed be Jesus Christ true God and true man blessed be the name of Mary right virgin and mother then was it say do you know that was it in there when I was a boy it wasn't that was brought only during vatican ii pope saint pope john xxiii added that to the litany did you know that that's significant isn't it because the church moves mighty slow almost like a snail and when she adds something you better look at his explosive now of course he's in there the divine praises blessed be st. joseph her what don't you love that line I love it when I get to that it's like I'm gonna float off the floor it's so beautiful we need men like Saint Joseph because st. Joseph was like the Father amen and by the way there's another development it happened recently in our recent lifetime what was that about st. Joseph's he's been added to the Eucharistic prayer to every Mass in every Catholic Church to the end of time did you notice he's not mentioned in the mass even eight years ago he wasn't mentioned except in the Roman canon number one that's the only one he's mentioned but now the Holy Father Pope Benedict prepared the paperwork when he resigned and Francis took over francis signed it and now it's a decree is the liturgical law that we are to mention holy joseph at every mass no matter what canaan we use at every mass in every Chapel throughout the world every day of the year amen now is that significant you better believe it they didn't add my name to it did they they didn't add your name but he had it Joseph's name they don't add things to the liturgy unless God himself is moving the Holy Father amen so this is the holy time of st. Joseph is coming upon us st. Joseph who also believes loves and receive the flame of love Mary said the flame of love is Jesus that is the flame and her beautiful heart it's Jesus himself and she want you to know that that flame that is Jesus is a living flame Jesus is not dead and Jesus is not a painting or a statue Jesus is so alive that only the word flame can begin to capture him amen and so that living flame Mary and Joseph both want us to have that flame of Jesus burning within in our time in a special way because we're celebrating holy ascension tomorrow Jesus ascended to his father we want all the fathers of the church the priests and the bishops and all the fathers of the families to have the flame of love amen don't you want your priests and your daddies and your husbands to be like Saint Joseph don't you wasn't to become Saints Jesus said whatever you ask the Father in my name will be given to you amen and so he'll do it for little things even for goofy things like I remember once when my brother who's now a priest father Tony and I we we were in Madonna house and Canada was a wonderful Catholic apostolate it was founded by Katharine Doherty whose calls for sainthood is being pursued in Canada she found him at Donna house my brother I spent a winter there volunteering and my brother told me one day was it was kind of a frugal way of life a disciplined way of life it was mid winter there was snow on the ground and my little brother said Jim Jim I need a doughnut my little brother loves Donuts it might be one of my favorite poems as you wander through life my friend whatever be your goal keep your eye upon the donut and not upon the hole amen be careful what you aim for amen so my brother said I wanted no that's well Anthony pray then the Lord say yeah doesn't he love me in my humanity I think Jesus loves chocolate glazed doughnuts he loves us in our humanity but brother pray so my little brother pray he prayed to Jesus and Mary and to another saint of cold father Eddie there in Canada he prayed to them is a true story now listen at Madonna house in Canada in the winter you never have doughnuts period it's like bread and water so to speak you know what I mean so that night we had dinner we came in all of us from the fields where we were working our respective positions has wonderful dining hall maybe 200 of us there and the announces at the end of dinner that night and the man in charge says I have an unusual announcement today everyone so we all stopped and looked at him it says today as you know the shipments come in from you know Ontario and other places to help the poor we got an unusual shipment today friends we got a truckload of donuts tonight [Laughter] I'm not kidding yes but a truckload of only donuts are there Donuts in heaven you better believe they're Donuts in heaven a truckload and the man said each one of you because we're in separate cabins you know each cabin sends your leader up and you get we got a giant like 50 gallon hefty bag full of donuts for every cabin whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give to you amen now I had experienced myself as a teenager it wasn't quite a donut it was a car and so I asked my Jesus I went to my daddy one day when I was a teenager and I wanted to have a car because I wanted to get a job we were taught to work for you know whatever we God we were hard-working and my family I'm one of eight children I said dad you know what dad can I have a car can he get mix I can get a job and I'll pay you back you know and my daddy said to me will gem you have you have to earn the car and as I know dad I'll pay you back this is a bit but gem you have to earn it first but what Dad how can I earn the money for the car but I'll have a car to get to the job to earn the money to buy the car and my dad said well I don't know he's but I don't have enough right now to get you a car and so thank God for the Holy Spirit amen he even helps teenagers even pimple-faced teenagers he helps and he came to me and he's the first thing he did is he had me get real quiet because if I had said another word I would have been like like arguing with my dad disrespectful and we shouldn't do that to our parents amen we should not be disrespect to our parents even for a moment we can't do that the Bible says honor thy father and thy mother honor should be a part of love it is they honor your father if you agree with him doesn't say that how about this I'll honor your father if he's perfect you say that no didn't say that at all honor your father if he always gives you nice things every day you say that no it says honor your father period amen and if you honor your dad even if he's not so nice God will use your humility and your sacrifice to convert your father amen that's that's the secret plan you know that don't you that's why it says that when you honor him and you humble yourself our religious superiors as well we humble ourselves God will reward us when we do that amen so the Lord had me shut my big mouths right then so I would say anything more not to argue with my dad I said thanks dad and I went into my room and I knelt down in my room [Music] the most famous teenage trainer in the universe in that I put Galilee 2,000 years ago father my daddy doesn't understand and the Lord took my prayer as a father I need a car so I can get to work you know about wood you can be a part of instructions of DVD today amen so I have to work with the next day my phone rang why they were tucker's but they were free hey make sure your air back and his ice your prayer that go through the same room the confessional go there first you good back the wash come out and then say your prayer amen you want to say you're better in righteous union right injustice to God it might give you a relationship with God but the Lord says whatever that's the Father in my name he will give to you is it true true it absolutely true the Bishop of the leaves he asked the years ago another sign their missionary priest he said father would you build a radio station for believes cuckoo I was the poorest priest in believes no swiping no super excited nothing except Jesus inherit a banyan I'm aided the poorest peaceably I was the richest man in the world amen the richest man I had keeps us in very rich back seat would you build me a radio station there was little time 100 had his daddy was like the leader of tribal chieftain of the triangle and his father was not the best father in the world see that's why our world has died our fathers are not doing their jobs we man changed right loving calling joyful people amen well daddy wasn't quite a homeopathic back he was not living this Catholic faith he was not being faithful to his life and how far did you survive that is anybody's guess God gave us special grace to be coming freeze the poverty you began to work on a daddy and praying for his daddy had already become the creeps the rancor is that is that the chief of the village unexpectedly God before his time so to speak and they laid out his body in such as America where I was stationed for a long time this is all the different in there they were all
